The new management staff and new owners are not an improvement. They will be nice to you until you sign a lease. Expect a 20% + increase if you choose to renew. Should you choose to lease and you are elevator dependent, think first floor. The elevators are very undependable and typically take 2-4 days to repair. The elevator in building 6 was out for 3 months, recently. Ask for new appliances. They are currently moving old appliances that die from unit to unit in lieu of new appliances. They apparently can't afford new appliances. The community is dog friendly, but there are no breed or weight restrictions for dogs. There are very large and nasty dogs here. If you have a smaller dog, please know the dog park has been taken over by the big dogs and it's very noisy and smells awful with people and dogs in there as early as 5AM and as late as 12AM. The staff will neglect to tell you any of this. hope this is helpful

Take note that all of the reviews are old, with the latest being almost a year ago. From previous and older tenants, major changes in up-keeping and customer service took place last fall with a management change. The grounds are not maintained, the noise level is comparable to dorm rooms, trash, dog mess, speeding and service charges out the whazooo for paying your rent through the apartment portal; 2.9%!!! Cars parked in the lot that do't belong to residents, nonresidents using the dog park and the pool, no locks on either (fob). The maintenance crew is great and always willing to assist but that's the best of it here at Allure. The location is the last appeal to me. If you want DC prices and NWPB living, this is the place for you.

Allure cares about their residents. If you have a problem they are here to fix it. They have special parties for the residents and their 4 leg residents. Everyone is so friendly around here. Very kid and pet friendly. Check out the pool area. The bark park is awesome.

If you like peace & quiet, DO NOT move here! If you work from home or are a stay-at-home-mom, it's hard to find a sanctuary here. For ex: The Allure just started using this cheap cleaning service for their newly vacant units. A white van operates a long hose that connects to a carpet/floor steamer and it's carried to the unit. The van stays on for about 3-4 HOURS nonstop w/ this loud noise coming from the hose. The fumes from the van are nauseating and the sound is anxiety ridden. On a beautiful day, you better have all windows closed and not sit on your balcony or you'll be subjected to toxic air & offensive sounds. Also, The Allure's lawn service comes about 1-2 times/wk and stays from 8:30 to about 4pm. You'd think they'd hire more guys to get the job done faster, but they love money. Additionally, the residents are noise-some by slamming their doors, playing loud music, yelling in the hallways, dogs barking for hrs & kids yelling in the parking lot playing ball (right next to our cars, btw). When you make complaints to the office, no one does anything. Which brings me to my next topic, Management is terrible! One thing you must be aware of is to check your Rent Statements! They've tried overcharging me for things they shouldn't have. They were all cleared up but it shouldn't have happened in the 1st place, esp multiple times. If I hadn't paid attention, which I'm sure many don't, I would've paid extra for absolutely nothing. Also, whenever you call them, they often speak in a condescending tone and are rude. No one does anything about it. Not the Manager and not even her Higher-ups. Don't be fooled by the appearance of The Allure. I wish I would've paid $100 more to live somewhere that truly offers what The Allure supposedly does. Yes, the appliances are stainless steel but none of them work well. My dishwasher barely washes dishes. My refrigerator doesn't seal shut, no matter how hard/soft I try closing it. The microwave hardly heats anything up. If you heat up something in the time the directions tell you, it's still frozen. The washer/dryer are awful! They even exchanged them w/ another one from another unit and they're still a piece a junk. Not to mention, the dryer takes all day long to dry clothes. Lastly, you have to wear a bracelet to the pool. You only get 2 as you're only allowed to bring 1 other person. Also, I lost one of my bracelets and they charged me $50 for it. They're rubber bracelets. But, like mentioned earlier, they love money.

Terribly ran complex! Was excited to live here because it does have nice amenities but the staff is so awful that I cannot wait to move. Besides the staff being awful, there is never any parking!
the quality of building is horrible, they just tried to finish the construction and make it ready for leasing and make money apparently. parking is an issue I feel not enough parking spot for this much apt (although I thing the is at least one for each apt) management is good and they fix the issue when you put ticket
This COULD HAVE BEEN a great concept and community. However, the lack of cooperation from the management, the excessive dogs (at least 5 pit bulls) and dog waste all around the property. Walls are paper thin. There have been mold issues in some of the apartments which they tried to cover up. If you're smart enough to move in first and then get your pet, you won't have to pay a dime. Which was the case with many residents. Despite bringing it to the attention of management, they turned a deaf ear. There are so many dogs in that community, and management does not hold residents to the rule of breeds permitted, limit weight, etc. Many people have 2-3 dogs. The hallways are horrible!!!!!!!!!!!! They give a terrible first impression to anyone walking to their apartment. They were never finished. The place is filthy! They have ONE maintenance person for the entire complex. The best part is..........be very careful... They will tell you one thing and do something totally different. Their website advertises cable and valet trash removal is free..........included in your rent, but it is NOT!!! These are additional fees tacked onto your base rent. The water/sewer issue is a joke. For one person, my water bill ran about $50/month! I know people who don't pay that much with an entire home. They will give you nothing but double talk about everything. The clientele of people leaves a lot to be desired. They have rented to many college students, and loonies. You can count on the police coming at least once a week. It's so bad, they had to have a Jupiter cop live on the premises because of problems. There was a carjacking several months ago in the parking lot, and they sent the residents a notice stating security of the premises was not their responsibility, and that residents needed to be their own watchdog!!!!
Don't let beauty trick your brain into living here. The apartments are gorgeous but very slopped together. There are flaws on almost everything built in the apartment. The walls are paper thin and neighbors are always an issue. I can hear every footstep from my neighbors above and outside my front door. It takes weeks for a simple maintenance problem to be fixed. The neighborhood is extremely peaceful but dealing with maintenance, loud neighbors, and terrible staff definitely isn't worth the almost $1800 a month for only 2 bedrooms.
The property is brand new - which is amazing, but also comes with it's challenges. The pool and fitness center are not completed - there are lots of bugs roaming around from the new landscaping, and the staff sometimes appears overwhelmed. The inside of the apartment is stunning - hardwood floors, granite counters and stainless steel appliances with uber amounts of cabinet space. It definitely has potential to be incredible and you cannot beat the neighborhood - pure Pleasantville.
