ALOFT at The Glen Town Center

Management - lack of communication, follow up Plumbing - no water pressure in shower and kitchen sink, toilet backs up, so bad there was a leak that closed a restaurant below. Foul odors. Not a smoke free community Upgraded units are low quality Noise issues are not resolved Packages are left out in lobby, no storage, things are taken List goes on and on Avoid this place, it's deception because it has a great location and looks nice from the outside.

Stayed here during the holidays and it was the absolute perfect location. The unit was spotless and Skyler and Andrew were so helpful and polite. I need to directions everywhere and they always assisted without complete. I was also able to use the newly renovated gym and thought that was a huge bonus, as hotel gyms are always subpar. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend to others!

Loud noise is the norm for these units. Hallways are loud. 2nd floor apartments, you can hear every step from the 3rd floor apartments. If you are facing Patriot, good luck with all of the cars honking for parking spots and if you are in the back, you get the commercial units, slamming doors and trash bins. Then watch out for your monthly bills, they add unknown charges.

The staff is extremely responsive and any maintenance issues have been handled very quickly! It has been a very pleasant experience

The apartment is bigger than I expected. Everything is in great condition. The people who work here are super-helpful and very responsive. I feel very safe here, and Covid-protocols are strictly adhered to. I love it here!

I would recommend this apartment community as being superior location, great attention to detail maintenance. The only drawback is excessive amount of paperwork to complete in order to rent an apartment. Otherwise their team of representatives is very organized and friendly people.

The reasons I would recommend this building don't have much to do with the building or apartment management at all. The location is phenomenal being in the Glen and in a walkable neighborhood with access to retail shops and restaurants. I also love having the park right across the street. I feel like the management of this building know they can simply ride on the merits of the building's location without making updates to the building or even handling tenant's requests and inquiries in a timely manner.

We want very much to return in 2020 for another 4 month rental from May through September 2020 and have made our request known to your admin. office. We definitely hope that you will have a rental unit available during our needed time period.

Great location and wonderful access to all local amenities...shopping, dining, recreation, and physical fitness activities.

It is really loud, i have newborn need to move out, it is impossible to sleep. Another thing MANAGEMENT is horrible. Susan threat you all the time with legal department if you are late 5 days. You only have 3 days grace period. Every time they send it to legal department there is charge 800$.. Don’t even try to live here. If you can’t pay the rent until 3rd of every moth it will cost you thousand and thousand extra dollars. Late fee is 250$, they charge on you on 4th and legal fee on 5th 800$.. CRAZY!! Apartment walls are so weak, you can hear every word next door. Stay away from this place!

The Aloft staff including the maintenance crew is very responsive. I've been living here since June 2018 and have always received excellent service.

All comments to friends have been positive. Very quiet. No neighbor noise

Nice place but luck of the draw. If I could choose my neighbors (the decent, considerate ones) I would rate much higher.

The noise level from the almost constant garbage pick up is extremely disturbing in the morning especially but even throughout the day. Also there have been many problems involving the garage doors, burst pipes, and fire alarm malfunctions from the attached retail places

The snow removal crews make winter here dreadful. They only work between 1am and 5a and no one gets any sleep bc we face the center of the Glen. It's been this way since 2011 every winter. Wish Aloft could do something about this instead of saying sorry.

I think they need to look more seriously at updating all of the units. When you go tour other apartment buildings in Glenview, they are much newer and nicer and have more modern finishes. And in many cases the units are cheaper than the ones at ALOFT. This building seems to be taking a gamble that they don't need to update their units because of their prime location. But sooner or later that is going to catch up to them.

Convenient location, amenities in walking distance, quiet location of my apartment is nice

Since I came from Pasadena Ca. I have to get use to living with neighbors that is not friendly.

I looked at a million places before choosing this one but I picked it because of the location, large floor plans, and lobby areas. I do a lot of business entertaining so I needed to be in a place with an impressive entrance and this is really the most luxurious building I found. The apartment is also very large and priced on the high end, but worth it. The location has everything I need plus some. The amenities are spread out all over the building but that's fine with me because I won't use them. The staff was awesome, didn't miss a beat with paperwork, follow-up, etc. I get a really homey/family feel from them and I believe they genuinely like each other and work well together. It filtered through to my experience. I can't say enough about this place, really.

Great neighborhood, close to great restaurants, movie theater and to Metra Station if you are willing to take a little more than a mile to get there. Still main door not noise insulated, can hear/smell everything coming from the hall. Faucets seem to be almost broken seems that this wasn't checked before the apartment was handed over to us a month ago.
