Gorgeous apartments, exposed brick, huge windows, trash service and amazingly happy and helpful staff. Meant to stay a year, going on 3 now.

Hi there, thank you so much for your positive comments about Alpha Mill Apartments! We can't wait to see you again, have a great day.
Hands down one of the best rental experiences that I ever had. The property is nice and well maintained. The staff and management are very professional and respond to your concerns, if any right away. I have been here three years and have never had any major complaints which often is unheard of. If you are looking for a safe, nice, and well-maintained establishment, look no further!

Hello, we strive for 100% satisfaction, and it is great to see you had such a positive experience at Alpha Mill Apartments. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to reach out! Thanks again!
I have lived at Alpha Mill for a little over a year and love the apartments. The exposed brick in the mill is great and my dog loves the dog park. On the other hand, the staff have been the worst part about living here (specifically Chris). I've spoken with other residents that have shared their dissatisfaction with Chris' unprofessional attitude and customer service. Chris gossips to other residents about things that should be congenital. There has been no change or reaction in any way to the complaints, as far as I can tell. The staff act as if amenities such as the pool are privileges. There has been multiple occasions when a homeless man has slept in our enclosed hallway which makes me feel unsafe to go outside alone at night. I wish I could live here longer because I love my apartment and location, but nothing is being done about the staff or resident safety so I will unfortunately not be resigning.

Our team is working hard to improve our services. In the last few weeks we have performed extra security checks and are working to make sure amenities and apartments are well maintained. We have sent reminders and updates to residents via email. If you are not receiving these updates, please stop by the office to update your contact information or discuss any further concerns you may have. Thank you for allowing us to grow and better serve you!
I love the amenities of this apartment complex but the management is a little disappointing. I moved to Charlotte from Texas over 2 months ago, filled out an application to be added as an occupant on the lease, and still am not on the lease. I have called the office on 9 separate occasions, only twice receiving a call back to let me know that they are going through some corporate changes and have been unable to process my application. That is fine, but without being listed on the lease I do not have a parking permit NOR do I have a key to use the gate. My car was broken into while parked on the street outside of the complex. Over $1500 worth of property was taken from my vehicle. I sometimes work late and on one occasion I was unable to get into the complex because all gates were closed. A young woman should not be standing out on the streets by herself in that area for 30 minutes waiting on someone to drive out or in to the complex. Especially late at night. On another occasion, while walking into the facility from the railroad tracks where I was forced to my car due to overflow, I was approached by 3 men in a vehicle. I did let a leasing agent know about this problem and she issues me a temporary parking pass, which is irrelevant because without a gate key, I cannot park my car in the designated area. It is disrespectful that no one from management has updated me about the application process. The level of customer service is ridiculous. I have tried going in person, but they must be understaffed because there is always a sign that no one is available. I have not included the issues we have gone through with maintenance requests and the untimely fashion with which they were executed but I will be sure to do so when I have the time to write another paragraph about the utter let down of Alpha Mill.
If you are like me, and need to experience what "city living" is like at least once in your life- Alpha Mill will be everything you've ever imagined and then some! Stainless steel appliances, tall cabinets, Quartz countertops, modern finishes and more! Everything is upscale. There are many amenities and recreational spaces for you to get to know your fellow neighbors. You'll feel like you're right in the middle of the action. And since it's located just on the opposite side of the I-277 loop, you won't be paying outrageously for your rent. The staff is extremely helpful, and available to talk with you about any of your questions or concerns. The grounds are also extremely pet-friendly with three pet parks and a spot for waste-disposal in each one. And if poker dens, coffee areas, TV rooms, fitness centers, rooftop terraces, and cyber lounges aren't enough, their pool and patio area is phenomenal. There's literally something for every resident, and it still pays homage to its historical roots by showcasing its original architecture in the main building. It's almost as if you're living in a museum of Charlotte. This apartment is just like our leasing agent Carly said, "The first and last stop in your search for an apartment"!
Alpha Mills has the best rent for how big the apartments are and how close they are to uptown Charlotte! I live in one of the most typical types of apartments: a 1000 sqft one bedroom with HUGE open floor plan, 9 ft ceilings and windows that flow up to the ceiling. I'm in walking distance of all of the uptown amenities, and I'm pretty sure we have the largest pool of all apartment complexes in all of Charlotte. I love it so much here that I keep putting off buying because this is the best place I've lived!
