Home to sculpted mountains, the wild North Platte River, and the Laramie Mountain Range, Casper is as beautiful as it is rugged. This is the second-largest city in the state, and it has an even bigger personality. Casper still has a "Wild West" feel about it, and it has a long history as an oil boomtown.
Today, the city is home to Casper College and is considered the region's banking and commerce hub. Aside from its amazing landscape, Casper offers several other draws, such as the Fort Caspar Museum and Historic Site, the Tate Geological Museum and the Nicolaysen Art Museum. Casper is one of the last cities before reaching Yellowstone National Park, making it a popular stopping-point for tourists.
If going back in time and experiencing pioneer life interests you, visit The National Historic Trails Interpretive Center. The center is a cooperative venture among the City of Casper, the Bureau of Land Management and National Historic Trails Center Foundation.

Property Ratings at Alpine Meadows
The heat is out ever months sometimes more than once. I don't know why it's not fixed yet this last time it went out it was 4 degrees outsides and is still not fixed. No heat no hot water. If you have to fix something every month just replace it.
Property Manager at Alpine Meadows, Responded To This Review
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced with the heating system in your apartment. We understand how frustrating it must be to face these issues, especially during such extreme weather conditions. We are trying to get this resolved as quickly as possible. I have had a vendor on site and if your heat is still not working please contact the office immediately at 307-265-0048.
We have lived in for months and when we first moved in the heat was out almost every week for at least a few days. Now it's the hot water goes down every month like clockwork and they always say the will repair it Friday and have it running by Friday night it is never fixed tell monday or Tuesday. So you have no hot water or heat in the apartment. Took them months to fix our shower. I'd like management to go without hot water while we do. Everything in the apartment is from.the 50s light switches, fuse boxes, and outlets.

Thank you for taking time out of your schedule to give us a review. I am sorry for your latest experience with Alpine Meadows. We invite you to contact us so we may discuss your specific personal experience. Thank you!
My wife and I moved here in July 2022. Since moving here we have had more issues and concerns that have still not been addressed. For example paint peeling in the bathroom, holes in the walls under the sinks , gaps in the front door, light switches that don't work, smoke detector that had the power wire cut, etc. This was turned in on the hitlist when we moved in. Still nothing. In addition we have had people try and break into our place twice, wife attacked by another resident (police record on that), no one cleans up their dog poop (including the halways), and trash everywhere with cigarette butts. I still have 5 months on my lease. We are looking to get out of it even if I have to pay. My wife does not feel safe here. Never again will I rent here. There is always trash in the hallways. No one picks up after themselves here. Then there are smokers in the building. You can smell it in the hallways and sometimes through the bathroom vents. The front door to the building has been broke since we moved in. Still not repaired. Good luck getting an apartment with screens for the windows. Out of the 4 windows we have we were only provided with 1 screen. Work order was put in. Been waiting 5 months for the other 3. The dishwasher barely works. Was reported when we move in. Still nothing. Laundry room is always trashed. Half the time the dryers and washers are down becuase they don't work. Yet we have to pay for the maintenance of them plus $2 everytime we need to use them. Do yourself a favor and don't rent here.
Location is garbage. High school kids come out and hang out around our doors like they live here. The town doesn't plow our road in the winter. Management is always changing. No one communicates properly in the office when management changes. Paper documents go missing. You get eviction notices even after paying because the people on the office don't have their stuff together. Maintenance... the people are nice but they are over worked, alpine meadows doesn't answer to emergency maintenance. There are cockroaches in building C but shhhh it's a big secret and half the residence shouldn't know because management is "working on it" washers and dryers need updated and don't wash your clothes all the way. Stoves are from the 50s in some apartments but aren't advertised so you aren't really getting what you see online. Grass only gets cut after you can't see your knees. Huh never living here again and I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.
Apartments are out dated. These pictures are limited new appliances and most apartments do not have those. Staff is nice but don’t get attached because they get rid of people fast around there. Very disappointing and dissatisfied.
DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! I have lived here for a year and never paid rent late ONCE. I was away for the weekend and the first of the month happened to fall on the weekend. I pay one day late and there is a$360 late fee. No warning, nothing. This was not explained when the lease was signed HOWEVER when I signed my lease, the complex was under different management. New management has no sympathy for loyal customers and customer history. One day late, never paid late before, and I am treated like dirt? I suggested putting a box for checks (since office hours are only from 9-6 and any normal person works from those hours and can't always stop in the office) and was told to slide my check under the door. When I said I'm not comfortable sliding my check and my money under the door, I was told "Then you pay late fees. Sorry." Just rude and unhelpful. I know I will NOT be renewing my lease here and I would advise you to seek a lease elsewhere.
Management is more worried about the Curb appeal then the Apartments themselves. High turnover rate on tenants.
The location is off the street but close to the mall and several east end businesses. It's off Wyoming Blvd. and has decent on/off ramps for the highway; something that a lot of the other streets do not have. The only drawback on the location is that it is next to a high school and you'll have to beware of the young drivers. The apartments are older, not of the best quality, but are clean and maintenance was good at keeping things in working order. I had lived there through the winter and never experienced problems with heat and water. If anything it was too warm because residents are required to keep the temps up to prevent freezing issues. The manager is good. I had read a few reviews saying that the property management is awful. This is the case with the property management, as the owners, but not the property manager who does what can be done and will work with you as much as possible within the contract. If you need a place and have to watch your dollars it's not bad. I stayed for exactly that reason and had an overall decent experience.
You get what you pay for! If you look for cheap, expect cheap. This apartment is right in the middle of cheap vs. Too expensive. Therefore, you're getting "in the middle" quality.
