Located in the foothills of eastern San Diego County, approximately 14 miles from the city of El Cajon, Alpine has classically had a reputation as a sleepy mountainside town. However, Alpine has become a thriving, bustling little city in its own right.
Alpine’s name comes from the terrain similar to the Swiss Alps, minus a lot of snow. Still, the elevation makes for great stargazing and yields fresh, crisp mountain air. Viejas Mountain is the tallest peak in the area. Local and visitors alike come to hike the trail and take in the beautiful scenery of rolling mountains and lush forest.
This tight-knit community appreciates the outdoor lifestyle here. Though, the local shops and restaurants are quite appealing as well. The Alpine Beer Company is a community hot spot as are restaurants along the main thoroughfare. Public schools are some of the best, and residents are comforted by direct access to Interstate 8.

Property Ratings at Alpine Village
the kids on my street keep on throwing things at my window, such as rocks and water and sticks, they also try to peek inside and the security refuses to do anything about it

I lived there for almost two years.. at first everything was good. After some time parking became a problem. Mold started to appear by windows and I called it in, they said to just wipe it with a cloth and clorox instead of finding a solution. Neighbors are disrespectful and racist! Most of the people that work at the front office are rude and do not help solve the issues you have. Also, when I first moved in the apartment needed some work I was told it was going to be fixed within the first few weeks I moved in but nothing was done. Their security sucks! I had stuff stolen from my vehicle and people parked in my spot and no one did a thing!
first off great pool and clubhouse many of my friends had their baby showers or kids bdays its luxury and staff is always on it with maitence orders they dont forget u like most apts i love the most is its like a house i lived here in 2014 2015 and my kids n loved it we may even go back
I will keep it simple, Don't sign a lease at AVA. The place is full of dirt bags, always disturbing quiet tenants 24 hours a day, they will charge you for EVERYTHING on top of the overpriced monthly rent. Pet rent, gas and electric, water, sewer, trash, renters insurance and anything else they can come up with. This place was the worst rental I have ever lived in 35 years. DONT DO IT.
I first was drawn to the complex because it is all single story with no upstairs or downstairs neighbors, having kids, this means less drama from neighbors. The complex has not disappointed! We have been here four years and we still love our apartment! The pools have been updated and are beautiful! With a Gym, 3 laundry rooms, monthly resident mixers and a friendly staff, Alpine Village has been a wonderful place to live!
Country living yet close to the city, Alpine Village Apartments offers it all. Most apartments have some private yard space for outdoor living fun and the clubhouse and amenities are great. The management team is awesome and always cheerfully helpful. Maintenance needs are immediately taken care of and the grounds are kept immaculate.
Very beautiful apartments. Spacious and cozy. Definitely recommend! Payments aren't too high and the neighbors are friendly. Apartment living can be stressful but living here, I almost forget I have neighbors! No problems.
Great landscaping and they're single story! There's plenty of laundry facilities and 2 pools. Great communication with the front office staff. Maintenance personnel are very helpful and nice. Schools near by are great.
