Property Ratings at Alpine Village Apartments
My husband and I first chose these apartments because of the inexpensive rent and the safe neighborhood, but it's proven to be a good choice. Pros: -Most of the apartments are one-bedroom, which makes for singles and couples with few children, i.e. quiet. -There is a pool out front that few use, which is a wonderful treat in the summer. -Many of the apartments are already remodeled, but the others are gradually being remodeled. -Most have open floor plans. -Many have laminate flooring except in the bedroom. -The complex is only a mile from Bush Park and the neighborhoods around are safe, so we often go for evening walks. -There a lots of places to eat within walking distance (Venti's around the corner and French Press across the street). -Fred Meyer is just down the road too. -Cheap rent for a good area of town and nice enough apartments. -Good closet space Cons: -There's little storage in our apartment. -Even though we face west, we don't get a ton of natural light (especially in the winter). -Some details are still from the 80's-90's like the windows and doors. -The closet door come off their rails all the time. -Not the nicest looking complex. -Little visitor parking. -No washer/dryer hook-ups. -It isn't well insulated. Over-all, we really like our apartment and we plan on staying until we we need more space for kids.
I'm 63 and have lived in many apartments over the years. Of utmost importance to me is how the apartment owners maintain the premises and how quickly they respond to the needs of the residents. Of all the places I've lived, the management of Alpine Village are superb and timely when responding to tenant needs. The second most important aspect of apartment living is how are noisy and unruly tenants handled. Again, the management here takes quick and decisive action respecting the peace and quite of all residents. Their professionalism in this regard alleviates stress and affords residents with a pleasant living atmosphere. I'd also say, in tandem with handling unruly tenants is, how well the property grounds and refuse are maintained by management. Our grounds and attended by professional landscapers weekly and refuse is collected 3 times per week. I never have to worry about how the property will look to my friends when they come to visit. Being disabled and on a fixed income, it's important to me that I live close to grocery stores, the bus line, doctors office, restaurants and sources of entertainment. Alpine Village is uniquely located to accommodate all these aspects of apartment living. For one that is disabled like me or for those that are healthy and very active, Alpine Village is ideal. I don't worry about a thing, and, at my age with the physical limitations I endure, that provides peace of mind and soul. Of all the apartments I've lived in, Alpine Village is, far and away, the absolute best. I don't know what I'd do if I ever had to move and live somewhere else. Thanks for giving me this opportunity to extol and gush about this place I can truly call "Home". Have a super day. (ˆ?ˆ)
