Property Ratings at Alpine Villas
We came by to view property, we’re moving in January. Even though they didn’t have anything at the time to view, they went above and beyond to show us the property and amenities and made us feel so welcome.
Do not rent from this place. Apartments are in horrible condition, they nickel and dime you, and will not do anything to fix or clean the apartments. My ceiling is caving in from years of water damage. I’ve complained numerous times throughout the years, and nothing has been done to fix the problem. I’ve had excessive damage to personal property from water coming out the ceiling; because, of the outright neglect from Hurd real estate. My apartment is full of mold, and there are mushrooms growing on my ceiling. I was never offered any sort of discount. They just continue to make demands from their tenants while offering nothing in return. This is inhumane squalor, and no one deserves to live in these kinds of conditions. All of my neighbors are having these same issues, and they’re all moving out too. Do no rent from these people.
All they care about is money and outside appearance. Inside is musty, molding and mildew. When walk thru was done I was told they had never seen one so clean, when asked about security deposit was told sorry had to replace blinds told management they were like that when I moved in so she dropped that and said smelled of smoke everywhere. Don't complain about anything because they turn and find something you "are in the wrong for and they are always right'. Don't complain about the unruly kids because mom works in the office. When I moved in my car didn't have a scratch on it by the time I moved it had been keyed and a kid hit it with their bike and someone broke into it
Do not live here. This place is awful. The maintaince process is dreadful and nothing ever gets resolved. They will change your rent prices, and won't fix anything. I have had issues that they have been "working on" for A YEAR. A whole year to fix a door and dishwasher. Unless you're looking to win a lawsuit, don't move in.
The whole process was great and they treated us so well until they got our applications and saw one dismissed case on my boyfriend's background check. Other than that, both had no real record and offered to pay 3 months in advance because we really wanted to live there. We were told they would "discuss" the issue. We went on vacation for over a WEEK. No communication was made at all and they held onto our deposit this whole time. Every time we tried to commincate with them they had attitudes and even told us to stop contacting them, all while they had OUR money... also when we were told we were denied, it was because of my boyfriend's misdemeanor. He said, "can you elaborate on that?" The woman had a huge "you know" type of attitude and told us what it was. We pulled up how records, it was dismissed. We had no idea he had this on his record, considering he is a security guard and has been through multiple background checks. I think if he was a threat to the community he wouldn't be a security officer.. We had to call them back and DO THEIR JOB and SHOW THEM WHAT A DISMISSED CASE WAS. What is the point of doing a background check if you can't understand the terms and we have to explain them for you? Rude people and I really feel like we were denied because of our age. They told my mom that we were denied because we had no renters history, but told us we were denied for something different. Shady shady business.
