Alta Potrero

This is a beautiful and well-maintained building in a cute but quiet neighborhood with plenty of green space, restaurants, and amenities nearby. I especially enjoy the rooftop view of downtown and the high-end appliances and finishes.

Miguel and his team are a valuable asset to the Alta Potrero community. Maintenance requests are always handled promptly and with care. They consistently provide great service!

I think almost every month the building tries to host a community event and it’s a hit every time. The amount of effort and logistics that go into it are really shown! I love the opportunity to connect with other residents and it’s also just great food/drinks every time.

Great improvement over our last place. Well managed and secure building. Apartment units are well maintained with respectful neighbors.

It's a blessing to live here. I can't help but be effusive. The standards here are at such a high level. I feel focused and determined in my work. I'm a visualizer (video and photo editor). This means my days begin and end at Alta. I travel a lot to Los Angeles for work (and to see family) Each time I return and enter the building and my apartment, I exhale into a space that brings calming charm. To wake up, and go to sleep, in a space that Makes you simply feel Good, IS the game changer here.

Its very nice neighbourhood and building has amazing roof can see the most city views . Has grills in the roof and heaters and club room for residents.

Waking into the elegant, minimalist lobby to Alta Potrero, I immediately knew I wanted to live here. How to contain my enthusiasm was my only challenge. Sherita kindly welcomed me, and gave me a thorough tour of the building’s excellent features, showing me a few different apartments to think about, and imagine living in… From the front entrance to the highly secured parking garage, up the elevator into your future apartment, it is quiet and clean throughout. The Latch system goes perfectly with the elemental vibe. Alta Potrero is, as its name suggests, high-level living while being very grounding. Alta Potrero’s property directors run a mightily detailed and disciplined vetting process.  While I had to jump through a lot of hoops, I noted, all along, the professional way the entire personnel conducts itself. They protect and preserve the high quality which Alta Potrero represents: a premium, peaceful atmosphere. All that a tenant wishes for…and receives. Now that I made it into my new, clean, beautiful apartment, I feel I’m in their - and the building’s - good graces.  The team is nothing short of premium.  They are kind, helpful, inviting pros: from Devin and Sherita to Adetoun, Miguel and Rico, all departments are covered. We are all well taken care of--       Alta Potrero’s quality of life is peerless. And I am ever grateful!

Really enjoy the fitness center and the cleanliness inside the building. Outside the building is another story.

After spending about two months looking for an apartment in SF, I finally toured Alta Potrero and decided to lease it the next day. The amenities are nice and staff are great, but what won me over was that their studios are more like junior one-bedrooms--the "bedroom" is separated from the kitchen area by a glass window and sliding doors. Juxtaposed by other complexes where I would have had to put my bed in a glorified closet or jammed next to the kitchen counter, this unit floorplan was a winner. The events they hold every once in a while are great too!

I’ve been living here for almost 1 year. Super convenient location, close to everywhere basically, work or restaurants. Also, love the staff here, super nice and helpful.

It is very nice. No major issues. Probably will stay another year or two before moving out of the city.

Cary Mayo and Miguel are amazing at what they do! The level of care, empathy, and patience they put into each resident's concerns and questions, really go far. They are one of the best things about living at Alta Potrero!

I lived in this building for 14 months from 04/21 until 05/22, and the people who work here are the perfect balance of professional and familial, especially Cary. Cary is everything but the literal foundation of this building, and I knew that from my first interaction with him when I walked into the building to ask about availability. I was taken care of every step of the way from moving in, living here, and moving out—and through all of the unexpected challenges that happened in between. I promise you that you won’t find anyone better to take care of you and the apartment building you live in than him. If you are looking for a beautiful apartment with brand new everything, and a roof deck that gives you 360 views of all that SF has to offer, this place is it, and Cary will handle the rest! I also need to give a special shoutout Miguel, who has done an amazing job at addressing any facilities/maintenance concerns that have come up (which were thankfully few and far between). The people who work here are not only there when it’s convenient—they’re there when you need it. The building itself is in a pretty ideal location (for my needs, at least). Restaurants, bars, and coffee shops on 18th street, in the Design District, and in the Mission are all walking distance. All of my favorite biking and running routes start from the front door. For anything else where you don’t want to drive, the 22 and 55 buses stop literally right in front of the apartment and get you to the rest of the city. If you want to drive, they have secured parking in the building, which will save you from all the sketchy things that may happen from street parking anywhere in SF, but the neighborhood feels really safe despite being so close to the heart of the city. The building speaks for itself, there are amazing people working here, awesome people living here, in a location that really makes you wanna stay. I’m glad to have been able to call this place home!

I’ve lived here for over a year and over all it’s been a positive experience. Apartment is great and compared to some other buildings, the building managers are very helpful and supportive.

Alta Potrero is a nice community. It's new with all morden amenities: Latch & ButterflyMX securities, gym and courtyard... The staffs are friendly and supportive. It also has A/C which is pretty rare in SF but necessary in the hottest days during a year especially in the sunny Potrero Hill!

My husband and I have lived here for over a year. We love the staff and the amenities here. We also enjoy the planned Ground Floor Project events.

About to renew my lease for second year; staff is AMAZING. Building amenities and events make it feel like a huge friend group. Can’t imagine living anywhere else

I like it a lot. It is the first apartment I have ever lived in.

In the 1.5 years we've lived here the condition maintenance of the building has deteriorated significantly. We are paying "luxury" prices for a truly subpar community.

Good community and friendly responsibilities staffs, except the building itself, doesnt have soundproof So it is very annoying with neighbors upstairs when they are inside working out and rumble the floor

Alta Potrero is everything I could have asked for in a building/ community. While everyone is extremely friendly, we also all respect each others space and try to maintain a respectful sense of community. The staff/ management team has been extremely helpful and friendly throughout my time living here. I wanted to find a building with high class finishes and amenities without bringing me hundreds of neighbors. Its the perfect size and the perfect family community to go with it. Not to mention, they treat animals just as excellent as well. I would highly recommend giving Alta Potrero a look if youre on your apartment search journey.

As far as city living goes this place has it all. My friends here were jealous of my space. The washer/dryer included, A/C, the rooftop deck, the pet spa, parking garage, and the gym with a Pelaton!!

Very nice. People are helpful and answering questions. A descriptive guide of amenities/facilities (lockers, trash procedure, latch setup etc) in one location or handbook may be helpful as it is a significant change for those of us not used to living in a community with so much to offer.

Our experience living at Alta Potrero has been amazing. The apartment is spacious with great features. The office and maintenance staff are responsive and friendly. We love the rooftop as well.

I've been living at Alta Potrero for a month and I'm loving everything so far. The apartment is gorgeous and I can't get enough of the view of the city's skyline. The staff is super nice and the amenities are very good as well.

I feel happy every morning I wake up in my new apartment. The floor-to-ceiling windows are game changers and the views of Potrero Hill and the San Francisco skyline are stunning. I like all the people I've met in our community so far -- very friendly and considerate. Access to the Jackson park is super helpful in maintaining sanity in this new Covid world. There are so many little things that make living at Alta Potrero delightful -- keyless security systems (Latch and ButterflyMX), high quality appliances and materials used throughout the apartment and heat lamps that help me appreciate the view of the city on the rooftop. I knew it would be a major upgrade from my previous apartment, but I didn't know I would feel this blessed to be living here.

I would highly recommend Alta Potrero and the leasing staff to any looking for a new home in San Francisco. The virtual tour process was easy and through and the leasing staff were quick to answer any and all questions I had.

Brand new apartment in the bottom of Potrero hill. Walking distance to Whole foods, Starbucks, Trader Joes, Bed Bath Beyond, and other local food spots. Dog friendly Jackson field is just a block away. Kind and professional leasing staffs are always there to help us and they are so happy to talk to.

Alta Potrero in a beautiful new building with just the right touches of design and utility. It has quickly become our welcoming and comfortable oasis during the current unprecedented times.
