Expect a long walk to your car every single time you want to use it. Unless you wanna pay hundreds of dollar for a private spot. They don’t have any public parking for guests since the parking is always full. I got a maintenance request and they locked the only door available to put my trash can in in my tiny tiny overpriced studio. Rent literally anywhere else.

Specifically, we are proud that our studios offer both a coat closet and a walk-in closet. Neither should lock, so please enter a high-priority maintenance request in the app or online portal if you cannot access them. Moreover, although our property has over 200 parking lot spaces, we understand that an ideal spot close to your building might not always be available. If this is a priority for you, you can reserve a carport for $40 monthly, which is a more budget-friendly alternative to the attached private garages. We hope you will give us the opportunity to resolve these issues. We want you to love your home.
I enjoyed living here. The apartments are architecturally pleasing with wide hallways, great views, and lots of light. The community is very well designed. The neighbors are nice. There is a nice pool, hot tub, BBQ, clubhouse, also well designed. My friends were always impressed when I brought them over. There is a nice bridge over a creek and wooded area which leads to a walkable shopping area with places to eat and coffee shops. Good school district. Great location. The property management team is professional and responsive. Jen and Tasha are especially standout property managers with a friendly professional attitude and excellent customer service. The management team was responsive and prompt when it came to maintenance. The only suggestions I have for improvement is the process for paying the last month's rent is needlessly confusing and a bit of a hassle. There were also two cars stolen in the year I was there, but these seem like isolated incidents, and the neighborhood itself and the surrounding is very safe, family oriented and upscale. I felt very safe there. Still, I think the apartment complex could be more vigilant about who they let come on the property. I see lots of friends of friends of friends using the pool and other facilities, and could consider beefing up security. Overall though, excellent experience. I would say Altitude is probably the best apartment complex in Kansas City.

Altitude 970 has been such an amazing home. From the amenities to the fixtures in the home I absolutely love it here. The office staff is so helpful and caring and maintenance makes sure to get things done quick. Definitely recommend!
As I am writing this now there are police and FBI here, which doesn't surprise me since they are here every month it seems like. The complex is littered with dog poo because no one picks it up and management doesn't enforce it or have people take care of it. Our building specifically smells like cigarettes or weed even though there is a no smoking policy. They put notices on everyones door but the problem persists. Basically what you think your paying for here...luxury... it is far from it. The utilities are astronomical here and neither the complex nor the energy company knows why. I called both and neither whats to take responsibility. IN SHORT.. YOU CAN FIND A CHEAPER PLACE WITH THE SAME CRAP.

Ever since being taken over by Sherman, this property has gone down hill. Utility cost are insane 300+ a month for electric. Constant crime issues lately and office staff refuse to care or do anything about it. I wouldn’t recommend anyone moving here
This place is visually amazing. However, don’t sign a contract here or you will be very disappointed. The turnover of staff including management is out of control. I have lived here just under 2 years and they have had 3 different property managers, 3 full maintenance staff changes, and a corporate team that is looking to cash in rather than making you feel welcome. Stay far away from this place. Check all reviews and do your research because we all have the same complaints.
These apartments are beautiful. Granite counter tops, spacious floor plans, and wonderful amenities. Unfortunately that is where the buck stops. The walls are paper thin, and I paid higher utility bills here than I've ever paid anywhere else(even more than a house). The worst part of this property is its management-not necessarily the office staff. The corporate team that "oversees" this property are among the most two faced individuals you will ever encounter. They do not care about you or your situation, and when serious attention is needed, they will not give the property Manager or staff what is needed (materials, training, etc) to remedy the problem.
