They worry more about towing cars than fixing up the area because something is always broken in this place whether it’s in my own apartment or throughout the building something is always broken.

Everything in my building is just broken When we first moved into our apartment it was so nasty bugs everywhere is was just so nasty and disgusting

No issues I wish the gym was bigger and the maintenance staff would fix some thing sooner, roommates are good no issues with them. They also have a lab

They were really easy to work with always helped me when I needed it always answered the phone when I needed something and also gave me everything that I was promised

My first few months living at Altitude Prosper has been a great experience. The living space is of good size with each bedroom having its own bathroom which is very convenient. Having the washer and dryer in our room and the valet trash service is a major plus aswell. I like how I get regular notifications so I can stay updated on any changes/events taking place. I did specify on my application that I preferred my roommates to not have any pets, but I was placed in a unit with a dog owner. I have no problem with this, but it is not right that my request was not fully honored. This is something that the apartment needs to work on so the residents needs can be met to the fullest. Overall my resident experience is satisfactory and I grateful to staying in a nice apartment.

Pretty decent apartment. First week was find they weren’t able to get me my couch and the Tv was broken for the first 3 weeks. The hallways are often pretty smelly but it’s not unbearable

Warning ~ Please do not chose this place to call “Home” regardless of how great the customer service experience before move-in has gone, once you pick up your keys (if they even have them ready for m-in) you no longer matter and will NOT be taken care of in any type of way. Oh and contacting + connecting with the management staff and/or maintenance and/or corporate office….good luck with that ha funny!

My experience was great, I loved the people in the area everyone were very outgoing and easily to communicate with. The environment was great and I can’t wait to start living there.

I cannot express how annoyed I have been with my Altitude Houston experience, and I haven’t even moved in yet. The lack of communication and care that is shown when dealing with future tenants is atrocious. I have called the number on the website 20 times because I need to inform the leasing office that I will be moving in late so that there will be no extra charges to my account for doing so, and I have heard NOTHING from anyone. This is my senior year of college so I was hoping housing would be the easiest thing to handle for me, this has unfortunately not been the case. I have left my name and number on their automated voice system more times than I can count and have heard nothing. I am highly regretting signing the lease here. Would not recommend for anyone.

Love altitude proper, beautiful and safe area for college students. I feel like I wont run into any problems especially because there is a police officer who walks the grounds during the afternoon and overnight.

The office staff have been helpful since I started my move in process. I would recommend Prosper to any student simply because it’s a great fit plus we are so close to the schools

It’s an amazing place and the staff is really nice. Nice neighborhood really clean. But only one problem the maintenance takes forever just to get back to you with the problem in your apartment

The front desk/owners are supportive and answer every question I have with a great attitude. I can definitely see how they are pushing for a better reputation for this housing community.

This is the dirty nasty place. Do not move here management is horrible.

Nice apartments and really friendly neighbors. Rent is a very good price as well. it was so calm and relaxing when I moved in, they have a pool ,gym and even a computer lab. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Proper is a really nice complex ! I absolutely love the staff they are welcoming and very helpful ! I would recommend moving here for students for sure!

My residence experience is not bad. It is Good and serene with perfect experience. I wish to experience more better experience in the upcoming years.

I enjoy the place. Everywhere is clean and nice. The customer service is on point. Emergencies are handled in the most professional way possible.

The apartments are okay. There is a lot of college students who live here currently. Also the hallways do be stinking sometimes. But other than that they are okay for first timers who’s trying to live on their own.

Well, for right now, everyone has been quite sweet and understanding. The community looks really unkept, but I have yet to move in. I hope it’s just as nice.

My experience so far has been amazing, the units are clean, the gym is clean, the environment looks great and i absolutely love the pool area.

First of all I really appreciate the service at the apartment however I would not say that they are 100% but at least the management keeps on trying to make the place great by doing maintainance.

Went 6 months without hot water after they were notified and lied about it being completed for months and still had to pay full amount of rent. My car got broken into ON PROPERTY IN THE GARAGE. Roaches, broken washer and dryer, wrongfully charged for something that’s was on the apartments end. Missing or late mail. Overall not worth it.

I have been trying for a while to gain all the correct information necessary for me to move in this summer. I have spoken with some helpful people, but I believe the staff needs to have a meeting or an information booklet they can use to ensure the information they give out it consistent. Otherwise my experience has been decent thus far.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I certainly would. Don’t know where to start, but I’ll try to keep it brief. Let me just start off by saying, DO NOT MOVE HERE. This place does horrible at maintaining the upkeep of the property. It’s infested with roaches, & stray cats who feed on garbage thrown throughout the property. The residents don’t respect the property, & throw trash everywhere. The property doesn’t do a good job holding residents accountable for their trash, & they never have consistent cleaning maintenance throughout the property. I had an issue with a leak in my room, because the resident’s poorly trained dog bit through pipes right above my unit. My lights in my bathroom, closet & hallway were not working. I tried multiple times to contact the property manager, but she was unavailable for several weeks. It took her over a month to finally contact me about the issue. I then proceeded to contact corporate, but even the corporate office is impossible to get in contact with. They will not respond & ignore your emails/calls. This is a poorly managed property, I could go on further but I think I’ve said enough. I moved out about a week ago, & couldn’t be any happier that I’ve escaped from this raggedy shack they call “student living”.

So many hidden fees. One of the staff members electronically signed to extend my lease for me after I had emailed them that I do not want to extend the lease. The security does not do anything, they literally just walk around and do not help. The property (outside, hallways, etc.) is always dirty and not kept up. The last straw is that they have a towing company that patrols sometimes and takes cars even though they have a parking pass. Please do not stay here! It is not worth the money and they are very unethical/ not honest.

This complex is the most poorly managed place I’ve ever lived. I posted earlier about this complex and received many messages from other residents with similar complaints and experiences. I’m not sure how they manage to keep a 5 star rating. Their generic statement that attempts to appease negative reviews actually directs back to the property manager who is both problematic and condescending. In short, look elsewhere for a place to live if you want a space where you’ll be valued and respected.

While the apartment is located in the third ward, the location should be the least of your concerns. The greater issue is the management within the gates. This group is poorly managed evidenced by the lack of security (multiple assaults of residents), slow responses to health and maintenance concerns within the apartment and their practice of illegally towing residents. They simply lack professionalism and integrity and have lied to residents on multiple occasions for the sake of profit and saving face. They had a recent name change( from Aspen Houston) to improve their ratings for google searches but their mediocrity remains the same. Please save your money and look elsewhere.

I’m a mom of a college student here. Renter beware. Lots of hidden, unpublished fees—parking is $50/month covered or uncovered, car towing company searches the complex in the wee hours searching for cars to tow, service fee for all forms of payment for rent with the exception of a personal check. The staff is nice, but young and not as experienced with going over and above to deliver the type of service and give the answer one expects with such a lofty monthly rent. My student will be a former resident after this semester. Renter beware.

Security is useless . Gates always broken. Cars getting broken into. Grounds are disgusting . Trash everywhere . Staff is not respectful and intrusive. Not a safe area. Homeless people around. I went to the subway down the road and got held at gunpoint. No exaggeration

The apartment it self is very new and well structured, but it is not maintained at all. Dog park always smells terrible, hallways and staircases are constantly dirty, not to mention how dangerous it is. I’ve heard gunshots, fights, all inside the apartment, my car has been broken into, and the management didn’t do anything to help. Overall Aspen’s apartments are aesthetically pleasing but I don’t think that justifies the overpricing and dangers. Also, TERRIBLE PARKING SYSTEM, they have about 20 visitor parking spots for a place that has hundreds if not thousands of residents, which is absolutely insane. They’ve towed my friends and I 5 times total.

The appartment complex is in a very high crime neighborhood and the management does not address the issue. People fire guns in the complex, cars get robbed, people get chased out of the complex by people with guns, homeless people sleep in the hallways. The good reviews on here are from the employees at aspen heights. Don’t be fooled.

I stayed there when they first built them , they’re nice and look just like the pictures but is over priced and they charge all types of fees with no explanation but the staff is always helpful but not everybody knows exactly what they’re doing and the give out the wrong prices and information then the resident is held responsible based of what they assured you of . They can walk in your house really whenever they want and parking is not fair
