This is an informational review for future residents. It's crucial to ensure clear communication with the leasing agent. My wife and I recently visited an altitude apartment where one of the leasing agents showed us around. We found one apartment particularly appealing and decided to book it online. Following the leasing agent's advice, we were informed that if we chose not to move in, our holding deposit would be refunded to our account. We have confirmed with him multiple times, since those are verbal conversation, we have lost the holding deposit money. It was only later that we learned about the 72-hour window for canceling and receiving the holding deposit back. Unfortunately, the leasing agent failed to clarify or inform us about this timeframe.

Yes, all the reviews of mice/roaches are true. The response from management about sending pest control out twice is a week is just a PR statement. Instead of doing the job properly and fumigating all the apartments to get rid of them, they only go to the apartment requesting it. Which doesn’t help at all! The roaches/mice will just come on over from other apartments and the one time I saw them go around to the apartments they just took the person’s word that they didn’t have anything and just kept going. The issue has not been resolved and will never be resolved because of the half measures they do. It’s disgusting the mount of mice I’ve caught and the rat droppings in my closet.
They are the worst for real. They go out-of their way to ensure you have a crappy time. They will tow your car for no reason at all. Once they towed my car coz I had expired registration, and it was parked. Like I'm not allowed to drive but not to park in the plc I live? They act like they make more money from towing than their residents. If you value your piece of mind, don't live here. You will never have friend/s over coz there's no visitor parking available and if they park on the hundred open spots they will tow them without fail. Worst plc absolutely the Worst

This was good community however after later 2021 and early 2022 they have gone worst and crossed all limits I wish i can give 0 star - Careless management They shut off the water many times due to repair work without any advance notices. Sometimes they send email at 7am that there will be no water for whole day. Be ready to have so many buckets to fill water in. They dont care about residents and dont feel shame to let you be without shower in morning. I have seen people have to rent a hotel for a day or two whenever these kinds of nasty email comes at 7am. - No maintenance Your maintenance issues will not be addressed for years and have to suffer with those issues. There are many issues here in apartments. - Mice, water leaks - Hygiene is an issue here. - Broken or leaked doors/windows (winters will be hard with cold coming in) - Be ready to do dishes by hand. Dishwashers are very old not working and never repaired. - Smoke - Be ready for passive smoke They call is non smoking however you will smell people smoking in lobby, parking, balcony all around. Not just cigars but weeds and all fancy stuff And finally when you leave the apartment even in the best possible clean condition, you may end up seeing big bills towards the maintenance issues they have not addressed for so many years. Be ready to pay for broken appliances which was same way since you moved in, never fixed, suffered for and finally paid to repair it.. Lolz Not worthy of paying these high rent and getting. Living here was one of the worst experiences of my life. Caught 20+ mice in a year. Management is not only rude but also careless and do not do anything even if you complain about the mouse. I have seen mouse everywhere, right from the kitchen top, living room, all the bedrooms, bathrooms, closet. There were tons of droppings in the apartment and carpet was chewed off at multiple places by mice. They do not return your security deposit even though you return the apartment in same conditions you got. Worst apartment community I lived in. Please do not move on this property even though it is last place in town or earth. We regret living there.

Lived there for three years before moving out the last month. Good place to live, hence two starts however, the management SUCKS. Spotted rats in the apartment and submitted maintenance request twice, called the management twice and after two months, I gave up and handled the situation by myself. No one showed up before my moving day. This was the final nail to the coffin; decided not to renew the lease. This wasn't the only incident when maintenance request were ignored. I would not recommend this place!

I have lived here 5 months and have so much regret; I lived at the complex down the street and moved here to save a couple hundred a month...NOT even remotely worth it. The entire website is a lie, there's nothing "luxury" about this place -- everything is run down, the plumbing is ancient (and functions as such), maintenance guys are nice but tracking them down is another story (requests go unanswered), rodent problems are rampant, inconsiderate residents everywhere (unleashed dogs just wandering around?!) impossible to get ahold of management. The only reason I haven't broken my lease yet is because I haven't figured out how...they ignore my requests to talk to the property. Can't wait to leave here.

I moved to this community in September 2020. I like the community and apartment with all other outdoor amenities. But when it comes to management which is a very basic service a resident expect then I would say it's poor. I am having trouble with my dishwasher since last 3-4 months and someone came in and said it has to be changed. After that I keep calling management almost thrice a week to get it replaced with either a new one or a used one but no one wants to take care of it. I understand that it's COVID time and scheduled deliveries get delayed but 4 months and I know there were some used dishwashers but still we didn't get any. Our parents visited us for a month and I was also not feeling well last month and we had to manage lot of things during that time because of dishwasher issue.

This complex is grand and beautiful but don’t let the views fool you. Since living here for a little over 3 months, it has been nothing but issues. Since day one the woman who showed us potential apartments barely knew anything about what was included in the monthly rent. Even though we were hesitant, it was the best apartment my boyfriend and I have seen in a while. We hoped that moving into a big apartment complex would mean it was professional and convenient. We choose to move into a studio apartment and continued with the process. We then received the 80+ page lease agreement full of contradicting addendums and rules that made no sense. We again meet with the leasing office to go over our concerns to find that the lease agreement was wrong and they had never noticed. So we move in and find out that the garbage disposal in the kitchen doesn’t work and is giving off a horrible odor. The bathroom door doesn’t close and the blinds are all broken! We call the maintenance line to get these repairs done. A whole week goes by and we call again, this time making this a more urgent matter since the kitchen odor was overwhelming. Finally we get the issues fixed. A few weeks later, we have family and friends coming over to see our new apartment. One family member parked in the guest lot (which only has about 20 spots for a huge apartment complex) with a permit to find it almost full. When he left our apartment he finds his car getting hooked up to the tow truck! After speaking to the leasing office about this incident, they said that our guests should park on the residential streets outside of the complex so they don’t risk getting towed. Naturally this just added to our frustrations making us even more upset with this complex. Now we find out that our names have never been placed on the intercom system and our keys don’t work for the mailbox! It has now been 3+ weeks that I have been trying to resolve these issues and have still not been able to speak to someone! If you are looking to move into this place I would highly reconsider. The management here is unhelpful and unresponsive to communication. If my boyfriend and I weren’t stuck in this lease we would have left after the 1st month. Others in the complex have also had issues but nothing is being done. Not a great place to live.

In regards to the visitor parking, our 50 space lot offers assigned visitor spots in order to accommodate all residents. We were not provided with contact information to add you to our intercom system, but this can be easily updated once it is provided. A mailbox key will be given to you as soon as possible. Bad place, management are so lazy if you send an email for maintenance they will come after one month. Please don’t come to this place. Dirty hall, smelly elevator, all are super lazy over here

I was TRYING to rent a apartment, but the ppl who work there are EXTREMELY rude!!!! I gave up. Every time I called they gave me bad attitude. Worst costumer service ever!!!!

I’m currently a tenant at altitude apartment I just signed a lease in April and honestly I cannot wait to get out of this place . Please people do Not I repeat DO Not come here . Management and maintenance are really bad oh and Just be prepared to have your car towed at any time even if your car has an altitude apt sticker on it .

Terrible place to live. I live here now, and I wished I had read the reviews. Roaches, rats, dirty elevators, dirty halls,. If I can give this place a 0 I would. Horrendous customer service. The people who work in the building office are rude. I can not wait till my lease is over. Do not move here. The only reason I moved here in a hurry because I had a job offer and needed a place to stay, sadly they were the the only ones with an opening at the time I moved. Do not move here. Terrible terrible place. I cannot wait till I get my lawyer involved in this. The mass board of health and all. As I type I can hear mice moving around in my walls. I wish I had read reviews on this place BEFORE moving in. I have been here for 7 months, and it has been awful. Terrible experience. Maintenance never comes to do anything, you have to keep calling and calling always. The first month was great until we were infested with roaches. They claim "exterminating" has gone there, and nothing is done. Problem gets worse. We have caught 3 mouses in less than a whole month. I have a 13 month old and they simply DO NOT CARE! This place is garbage. I am completely disappointed. I cannot wait until my lease expires. This is the worst place I have ever lived. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!

I just moved in December 30, 2018, and I thought everything was going well. I pay my rent on time no violations. I literary go to work and come home and my daughter goes to school and comes home. So it's time to renew my lease and I got an email stating that my lease was not getting renewed. When I called the office to talk to Lori to find out what was going on. She was so cold and rude. She told me that she didn't have to tell me anything. That all she was required to do was give me a 60-day notice. This is the same person who was all nice and everything when I moved in and I told her my situation and how hard it was to find an apartment and that the last landlord had sold the house I was living in and the new landlord wanted all the tenants out because he was moving his family in. Well, my daughter and I have finally thought we found a home and I thought let me finish unpacking well I guess that doesn't matter now. I asked Lori what I was supposed to do because we do not have anywhere to go and she to me to look on craigslist and start looking today because it's enough time to find something. She was so rude and disrespected to me. I said I confused I have never been late on my rent and I have no violations and you're not renewing my lease with no reason. She was like there is a reason I just don't have to tell you. I was like there is nothing that I can do because I am not going to be able to find a place by 12.30.19 and she said she didn't care and that they had the right to not renew my lease. So I had to come home from work and tell my daughter that we had to move because the property manager decided not to renew our lease and she asked me where are we moving to then and I had to tell her I don't know because I don't. I'm only giving it 1 star because I have to. It's sad how people just treat you like you're a piece of crap. Holidays are coming and I have a son in college I am paying for and now I have to find a new place which I don't have to pay 1st, last and security deposit because I thought I had an apartment, well I guess I was wrong. How do you get penalized for being a good tenant??

I had a tour this weekend with Ashley and it was great. I saw a 1 bedroom apartment with hardwood floor and fell in love. It was exactly what I was looking for, plenty of space for all of my things. Once she started showing me the amenities, I was sold... I will be recommending this place to all of my friends. :)

The place is really SAD and depressing. Looking out to the window makes me feel like I'm in the cell / cage. I was dealing with WEED smell EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. If your not a smoker, please don't rent here. This apartment is location is too far for everything. It's located in top of the heel, so you will need to have a car to go somewhere. There are the bus stops in the apartment, so people who take commutes will be good. But, waiting time for the buses are so long and from the Malden Center to Apartment takes 25-40 mins. I rather live in Malden Center area to reduce the commute time. I had to take UBER / LYFT a lot. This apartment has lots of diversity which I loved. But, some of smells.....were very strong aromas, Indian foods.....wasn't for me. My bath room smelled like Indian food, because all the apartment venting system in the restroom is connected. But, I'm not going to lie, when I'm hungry, Indian food smells are so good and I love Indian food! but I don't want to smell that every day.....The renting price is pretty affordable, but you get what you paid....

No maintenance at all, mice issue couldn't get solved. You can create as many issue tickets as you want, they will close them as Resolved without doing anything or contact you.

I have moved in last March and I could not be more pleased with everything so far! I love my apartment, the view, the pool, and the gym I never have to wait for a machine - it is always so clean! the grounds are lovely, and the staff has been very helpful making me feel safe in my new home. I was so happy to move here because they talk a great game. Even filling out the application I noticed a few red flags about management but my family was desperate to find a place ASAP so I let it go. We weren’t there more than a week before the mice showed up. I had pest control come at least 6 times in less than one month. Read the reviews before u move into ANY place. They are most likely always right! We don’t live there anymore. Management did not care at all. They’re used to complaints about mice and roaches. Find another place to live. Good luck!

We do have a contract with an exterminator who makes rounds 2 times per week and work aggressively to make sure there are no infestations. If and when there is an issue, we always follow up with tenants who report sightings to make sure the issue is fully resolved.
Do not live here. I promise the location and price are not worth the headache of living here. Management is so nice when you are touring the complex, and then the moment you sign the lease they are incredibly unhelpful. Our apartment is infested with ants and mice, despite keeping it incredibly clean and despite multiple calls to management nothing has been done. Two cars have been towed at our own expense for bogus reasoning. They will never let you know if a package has arrived, and then will send it back after two days. After an incident with our mailbox resulting in two months of the inability to receive our mail we decided enough was enough. I wish I could give this place zero stars.

The place is good to stay, reasonable and response to most of issues I had faced were fixed quickly. But some delayed due to external people working on it no complaints on that. But the worst part here is the management is very very much rude, while signing lease they tend to be very nice but after that they show true colors. It's always better to stay away from them if you choose to stay here, else avoid staying in altitude. Not sure who owns this property, suggestion to them is to teach staff how to behave with people or change them. Hope review helps someone.

"Brand new re-modeled studio apartment" is how it was advertised to me. In my time here I've sat in my apartment in multiple coats because the heat worked so poorly. I've had pest control in my apartment not once, twice, or three times, but four times now. I keep my living space spotless... How many mice can there possibly be in a studio apartment? I woke at 4:00am this morning to the sound of a mouse shrieking in a mouse trap, very pleasant.... Do yourself a favor, find somewhere else to live.

In terms of heat, this past winter experienced numerous and extended periods of sub-zero weather, which of course put a strain on everyone's heating systems. If ever you experience issues with your heat, it's important to contact us to put in a work request so we can address the issue immediately in your apartment. Few months after moving, I started noticing mice coming out from the heating system. Maintenance don't take those requests seriously and there was no plan to get rid of mice, at least a moving to another apartment should be offered.

worst apartments, poor maintenance and rude rental staff. they charge a premium fees for their so called renovated apartments but they are plagued with maintenance issues. parking lots are not safe, GPS and money was stolen from my car. my advice is to stay away. they don't even serve maintenance request and mark them completed without working on that. its total fraud.

We do offer a secure parking lots and if ever you experience an issue, you should report it both to our security staff, as well as the police so we can address it immediately. As with anywhere, it's also recommended that valuables not be left in your car. We strive to provide as safe of an environment as possible. As well, with maintenance requests, it is important to follow up on any items that are not resolved so that we know if an issue has come up again after completing a work order. I was going to give a 5 five since I've just moved and everything was good but you discover quickly that you deal with rude people that don't let you host your close family for more than 3 days and says that family are guest and that's the rule !!! I can't' imagine dealing such a heartless people and I've wish never moved here.

I lived here on a 15-month lease prior to moving into a home. I really loved my apartment, the building, and the property. It was lovely and the gym was a plus. I used to read reviews online that talked about mice and bedbugs, but we had zero issues with pests whatsoever. Plus, our maintenance man for our building was quick and friendly, did a very good job. However, there is a grinch in the management office. This person was so mean that we now look back and laugh: did a person like that really exist?! This person trusts no one, yells at everyone, including the employees s/he manages. I witnessed a staff member getting flat out screamed at. I mean, MEAN!! If you go in the office, watch out!!

- Apartments are old and overpriced - Lots of problems with bugs and mice - There is so much ridiculous policy that the tenants have to deal with. For example the pool policy: You cannot have more than 1 guest with you at a time and you can only do that 4 times per month total. - Tenants are subjected to eviction notices and other heavy handed policies on a whim. - Management is incredibly rude and does not understand customer experience management. - Water damage to walls in my unit due to leaky roof - The garage is extra money and leaks tons of water on vehicles. Not worth it and will rust your vehicle. - Very far from everything. Even the nearest T stop is a 20 minute drive away. Depending on traffic. All in all, the cons vastly out way the pros of living in this community. Management is extremely rude, there are too many policies out in place that do not benefit tenants, and Management makes things incredibly difficult for no reason. The amenities are not worth it, You can only enjoy them by yourself, and the policies here make living a huge headache.

I'm not even living here and after how I was just treated I never will. I was just calling to get more info about this place when someone in the office picked up my call then very abruptly hung up on me then would not answer when I called back. If this is how they treat potential new residents, then I feel bad for the people who are there now.
Unless you are willing to put up with rudeness, disrespectful and incompetent management, poor maintenance e.g. for a whole week there was puke on the carpet in the hallway, after I alerted maintenance; pests(roaches and mice), please do not apply to live here. The headache isn't worth the few hundred dollars they save you to lure you in!
I've been living here for over 5 years now. This place is close to Rt 1 if you would have to drive in to town. This is not very close to T-station, nearest T-station is Malden center(15-20 mins ride). Management is Ok and always try to bring up new useless rules, sometimes very frustrating, and at times they are very rude and also send intimidating notices to tenants for little/minor things. Package handling is a mess and they loose many packages and claim NO responsibility and will NOT help track it. They have been increasing rents very badly and do not offer any deals or promotions for existing tenants. Also, the apartments are pretty old but livable, but recently too many problems with roaches and mice. Also, on the other note, this place does not have a Verizon FIOS services available. Get ready to stuck with Comcast forever whether or not you like it.!
WE ARE NOT FAR FROM RT. 1 SOUTH AND NORTH. THERE IS A BEAUTIFUL SMALL POND VERY PEACEFUL TO WALK AROUND. THERE IS A OUT DOOR POOL WHICH IS ONLY 4 FEET AND GREAT SWIM FOR CHILDREN. I LOVE LIVING HERE BUT THE RENT CONTINUES TO GO UP EVERY YEAR.

I have been living here for more than a year. Honestly I would say the rent here is reasonable, or put it this way, the cheapest apartment complex in the area. However, the amenities are not always available. During the renovation of basketball and tennis courts, they have been closed for about 2 month without further open notice. Everything moves very slowly including maintenance. Although there's a gate where concierges are on duty every day, there seems still weird people hanging around. Especially at night, some drunk or insomnia people talk loudly in the open place. Plus the noise created by buses coming in and out every hour.
The apartment is close to Route 1, the mall, the highway, super markets and etc. Amenities are included in the rent as well as heat and hot water and a local bus goes into the gated community that brings you to the train station. There is a nice view of the city and Revere Beach from multiple buildings which is nice to sit on your balcony and look at during summer nights. Cons about this apartment include roaches in the building, package retrieval is sometimes an issue when ordering online, and the strictest of the property management. Besides that i believe this is a decent and convenient place to live.
I just renewed for my second year. I love my apartment and the grounds are beautiful. The maintenance staff are friendly and competent. I haven't had any pests, the gym (year round) and pool (summer only) are very nice. The only downside is the office staff, who are comically mean-spirited and rude. That said, as long as you are actively polite and beta, it's workable. No, you shouldn't have to deal with their ridiculous attitude problem, but it's worth it to me. Your mileage may vary.
Hi The place is overall ok but on a bit expensive side! The management is very poor and really need to learn some manners. The maintenance is a very slow process and sometimes takes a week or more to get the work done.
