Everything continues to be fantastic 4 months in, zero complaints! Staff continue to be proactive and genuinely kind, amenities are well maintained, and I always have felt safe and secure

The staff has been exceptionally helpful throughout my leasing process! Any time I had a question they were available, and I really appreciate their kindness.

The staff are phenomenal, the unit is very modern and updated, the insulation is great, and the amenities are all very well maintained. The biggest positive is the location. You simply cannot beat being on 14th street and having an amazing Art-Deco Diner in your building (Ted's Bulletin). I highly recommend this complex for anyone looking to be in the heart of Logan Circle, and to be in a new and very luxurious apartment building with excellent management.

I have lived in the District for quite a few years being one of the people who moved in as it was brand new. I cannot say enough good things about the experience. I love the location as it is close to shops, restaurants, and ample workout options. The city vibe you get there is hard to compete with. I had amazing city views with floor-to-ceiling windows that also filled apartment with light. The rooftop is excellent for hosting guests outdoors. Most importantly, I loved the team that works in the District. Basically, it felt like staying in a 5-star hotel: all my maintenance and other requests were addressed in less than 24 hours, my packages were safely stored, common areas were meticulously cleaned and I have always felt safe and well cared for. So thank you to the District for all the amazing memories! If you are in doubt, I can assure you, you won't regret renting here.

I've been at District a little over 2 years. The building is spotless and has an exceptional management and maintenance staff. Management was awesome during the pandemic and I know others in nearby buildings who's management companies were not as generous and understanding. Great place to live, great location and exceptionally well insulated (it matters facing a busy street).

This is a centrally located home with great sense of community and super attentive staff, very well managed and a pleasure to live in.

The District is a place where you feel part of the community which leads to very friendly neighbors and staff, the common areas are sparkling clean and the noise level is low which is great after a long day of work.

I could not be more pleased with everything at The District than I am currently. Love the location, the building, the staff there. It is a major YES.

Love the district! Great spot and friendly staff. Shedozie at the desk is always nice to see, Benny is a great maintenance worker and fixes any issues quickly and is quite friendly and the property manager Brenda is nice and quick to respond to any questions or concerns.

The District Mgmt team has been amazing. Whenever Ive had an issue or needed maintenance the team has been on top of it and resolved everything within 24 hours. Brenda from the mgmt team has been a delight and is super helpful. Highly recommend living at the district. Hands down been my favorite apartment complex Ive lived at.

I like every aspect of living in the District Apartments: the location, the building, amenities, staff, services like dry cleaning pick-up and package deliveries.

I feel very much at home here after one month occupying my apartment. Am here after a transition out of living in a large house for 38 years.

Place is ok. Great location and the apartments are nice but everything else is just average or below average.

After 5 years in California, my wife and I moved back to DC and into the District. When we were looking for a place to live, we had specific criteria that needed to be met: 1. Centrally locates with access to Metro and quality restaurants. 2. Dog friendly. 3. Quality build & design with a more modern finish. 4. Sensible floor plans. 5. Value/$ - This one requires explaining. Value is defined as the quality of the core product (materials, appliances, finish, etc) the square footage. 6. Friendly and helpful staff that make a place feel more like home than an apartment building. My wife and I feel like District hits all of that. We toured the Ellington, Berkshire 15, Camden Roosevelt, 880 P, 14W and a few others. None of them hit all of the requirements. I want to add that District doesn't offer some of the crazy amenities that other buildings do like a rooftop pool or dog park (880 P has a crazy one). I have no issue with that because I feel like those come at a cost and expense of quality that I value more than that.

From the moment the concierge greeted us and then introduced us to the assistant property manager in the building's beautiful lobby, I had a feeling this would be our new home. When we saw the stunning views from the apartment, we were ready to sign. There's no shortage of new luxury buildings on 14th St., but two things put District in its own category. First, the building beautifully integrates old and new, maintaining one of the city's historic buildings and offering a quieter entrance on S St. and a cozy boutique feel. Second, the staff is great: the maintenance team is responsive, the cleaning team keeps the building spotless, and the concierge staff is helpful. They're also really warm and pleasant, which is a more important feature than you might initially think when searching for an apartment. Cool events and swanky holiday parties are the icing on the cake. I love coming home to District.

Just moved to my apt facing 14st st. Higher floors have a nice view but I got the view to the stores across the street which is also nice. Noise from 14th st bars can be annoying over the weekends.

There couldn't be a better location than The District. It's close to everything -- public transit, coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores, farmers markets, bars and anything else you could want. If you want walkability combined with a gorgeous building and pet-friendly amenities, this is the building for you.

I LOVE living here! Came to check it out on a rainy day after visiting a not-awesome other spot, and was welcomed with snacks and mimosas in the lobby, I knew it would be a good fit from there... The building is reminiscent of a boutique style hotel, with one main entrance and concierge at the front desk. This makes it feel incredibly safe, there's only one main entrance and the staff is helpful with guests but keeps an eye on who comes in. This also helps with amenities, which are fabulous. The gym is a bit small, 3 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, 1 bike, and free weights, but due to the building size I've never had to wait for a machine. The parking garage is clean and very secure with multiple gates only accessible with your fob, and I've never had a trouble finding a space near the elevator door. The best amenity hands down is the rooftop. It is GORGEOUS, and rarely crowded. There's two large grills for use, a fire pit, lounge chairs, a water spray mister, tables, couches, fridges, and day beds. I've watched countless sunsets, the pride parade, and other events from the unobstructed view and love it. The actual apartments have great bosch appliances, attractive laminate floors, kohler sinks, ample vanity storage and are very attractive. New units have floor to ceiling windows, and older units I believe have great brick wall features. I have only 2 negatives, but they drive me crazy. 1 - the refrigerators are TINY. It's basically like a mini fridge. I cook a lot, so it's hard to store a lot of food, and the freezer is all compartments so there's no room for large items. All the shelves in the fridge are able to be re-arranged, but this was almost a deal breaker for me. Luckily you are so close to trader joes it's easy to pop out for food without having to keep as much on hand. Plus the dining options on 14th street are endless. There is definitely enough room for a normal sized refrigerator I have no idea why they opted for such a small one. 2 - my bedroom door is a non-pocket sliding door. In a 2 bedroom and my door has no lock, doesn't even fully close flush to the wall. Crazy that it couldn't at least be a pocket door so I have some personal space and more of a sound barrier from the kitchen. That being said, the location can not be beat and the amenities and unit are gorgeous so it more than makes up for the downsides. Love it here and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe, high end place in the heart of 14th st.
