Alvista Lake Meridian is a nice place to live. Great location, very good apartment conditions, and the staff have all been nice and helpful in my experience. There are a couple drawbacks to consider. Parking if you have multiple vehicles or a large truck will be difficult. We've had neighbor based problems as well, some vandalism and trash and the like. I'd still recommend it though, the good things about Alvista make it worth it.
Management and office staff are GREAT. I love the amenities and how close we are to the lake.
Is really nice place to live here. Has very good size apartments. They getting better in taking care of this great place.

Moving into Alvista Lake Meridian was a great choice. The area is convenient and easy to get around in, the staff is pleasant, and the apartment itself is in one of the best conditions Ive seen. Parking is a bit pricey, thats the only thing close to a complaint or concern I have about living here. Definitely would recommend.

Location is fine, apartments are fine, maintenance takes too long to the point of causing further damage that could be avoided had the problem been addressed the first or second time I requested maintenance. I've waited for my dishwasher to be fixed for 4 months (it grew mold and made my apartment into a biohazard zone before I could get it addressed), I've waited multiple weeks to have an issue with my dryer addressed (had to hang clothes to dry throughout the apartment while waiting), and now we're into our second month of waiting for someone to address the GIANT CHUNK OF METAL and that is dangling precariously from the roof over a unit where children live.

Office to management has came in and remodel these over the last year, however was living here you must know you have to pay for your parking monthly $75-150/per vehicle maximum 2 vehicles. Also the visitor parking is very limited and a lot of visitor parking is taken up daily with vehicles of current residents, therefore there is no guarantee that you will have a parking spot every night. There is a great lump sum of suspicious people that partake a lot of time here Alvista at Lake Murray and has put up cameras because they have been car thefts along with illegal activities and break-ins to vehicles of residents. They have decided to put up a gate but the gate has not been active for going on three months now. Lastly the maintenance here is very slim to none they take their time getting work orders done.

Unfortunately, our location doesn't allow us more space to offer additional parking and we have looked into many options to help improve this. I'm glad you have noticed some actions we have taken to help with security at the community including security cameras, access gate, and courtesy patrol. Our gates cannot be closed without a permit and the city is very behind in approving due to Covid-19 so we appreciate your continued patience. I was denied on july 13th 2020, and in this denial letter it has no info on how , when, who will be sending me my 250$ admin fee back. They have blocked me on email gmail so i cannot ask questions. They must have caller id because for a week my calls went unanswered, then finally a girl answered but was very aggressive and rude , when i only asked the question i NEED to have answered to get my money. Today is august 9th still no check has come. I left a mess.with a temp worker i guess she was a few days ago she knew nothing had no answers but said she was forwarding my name and questions to the manager. No supprise I've heard nothing. This is no time to play with a single mothers 250$ .not to mention the girl said it will show up in the form of a check and is being mailed to where i live now. Im leaving here! 2 weeks left at this address they most linely will not forward a check. But then again i can only GUESS because they refuse to talk with me.Very unprofessional i thought when reading the other bad reviews on the place that oh its just a few people different years its not that bad. I was wrong now i believe all the bad reviews and feel there are way more , but people just do not leave a review. I PLAIN AND SIMPLE WANT ANSWERS . there's no reason to block me we have unresolved issues.Its not like im a stalker and trying to contact them for no dam reason.On that DENIAL letter should have also had where the check was coming from and they're info , so i could then deal with them. Easy .but no they're taking this to another level. Oh yeah im also blocked from the website of the apts so i cant look ANYTHING up there either. which i Horrible communication , rude& VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.I so regret not listening to the reviews i had read about here. Now im just another one who got messed over by them.

If you want to live in a community Lake Meridian is the place to live. The office personal are the best. Heidi the manager will go above and beyond to help you in any situation. Shaun the leasing agent also is great. Yes parking can sometimes be a bear and that's the only reason I gave it 4 stars.
Did not get any deposit back and charged nonsense move out fees, lied about place being dirty on move out. T We did an amazing job cleaning out the place on move out, vacuumed, swept, and mopped. Every surface including toilet, sinks, bathtub was cleaned using beach or pine sol. It was so clean I probably won't mind eating off the toilet floor. Got charged $110.00 for carpet clean, which is basic practice for every apartment to get carpet washed for next resident. $140.00 for "Basic Clean", what exactly did they clean? I have no idea. Got charged $150.00 for trash removal, WHAT TRASH? The only "reasonable" charges was replacing stove drip pans for $25 and carpet cleaning for $110.00. I also called before hand to ask and see if they are available at an agreed upon time for move out inspections but they left 2 hours before the appointment. Stay away from the place. Oh and this place have no parking spaces.
