Property Ratings at Amalie Apartment Homes
The view is amazing but the property is understaffed. Most of the apartments are old and require constant maintenance, which causes a problem because there is only one maintenance guy. The laundry mat is leased out so the machines constantly have issues. The tenants constantly throw trash all over the parking lot and grass. There are too many cars in the parking lot, so be aware that your car will get ding damage. The 2 car maximum is not enforced. All of the fixtures aren’t connected correctly, light switch plates are screwed into drywall and fall off, water faucets leak and spray from tub and shower simultaneously. They paint over old dust, debris, and bugs instead of replacing old particle board cabinets and countertops. The pool is still green with no signs of opening. It’s not right to put all these amenities in the description if they aren’t available. People have a right to know what they’re paying for. It’s not the property manager, it’s the company that owns the place.
I've lived her a long time, and whoever brought Kayla in as the new manager, THANK YOU! The changes and upgrades. Her communication and follow through. The way she just handles everything. This place has done a complete 180 and I don't plan on going ANYWHERE! I will HIGHLY recommend.

Amalie Point is definitely an older apartment complex in need of some updates, but luckily, they are regularly getting updates! It's a smaller complex from the 70s, but it's also kne of the cheapest jn the area. There are plans to repave the drive and parking lot next summer as well as ro redo the pool. A lot of the apartments just got new balconies, and they are currently repainting all the exteriors. They also just redid the laundry room and installed all new washers and dryers. We have a 2/2, and love being able to afford the extra bedroom. The kitchen, though, is a little rough- older cabinets and appliancss, and it's so small that it's barely useable by two people. Overall it's a good value for the price!
Been here since February no real issues and die the price a very nice comfortable space !!
