Property Ratings at Ambassador
Pros: Great location and decent price. Parking if spots are available. Washer/Dryer (only 2 so you may find yourself waiting) Cons: Building is old and has never been updated. Any updates to apartments are done in the cheapest possible way. Moved into a dirty apartment with carpet not even secured down. Water goes from extremely hot to freezing cold. Heat was broken and not fixed for days. There are ants/mice on the first floor. Saw several tenants with pipes that burst during the winter (make sure you get renters insurance!). The main issue with this place is the management company. They do not care about your happiness there. Wong Properties are slow to requests and basically there just collecting your money each month. Company also is notorious for not returning security deposits, I will be taking them to small claims court to get mine back.
My apartment is a wonder place to live. I been here since 1987. I closer to my job, and places to go Denver metro downtown area, like movie, stores, restaurants, shopping mall. My is safe security building, with cable, every is electric here, air condition and have elevator too. The landlord and owner are wonderful people to work with. The maintence staff are great too. Anything that need to be fix they on it. I recommend this wonderful safe to live here.
Building is very old, could use updating. The worst part is the carpet - it's blue inside the rooms and the hallway carpet is dark green- clearly hasn't been replaced since the 70's and it smells like it too. Maintenance is pretty slow when it comes to fixing things- but the location and rent price at this time is mainly what keeps me from moving when my lease is up
