Thank you for these lovely compliments for our community! We are so glad you've been pleased with our team's service and our great location. Please continue to reach out to us at newprospect@amberton-apts.com anytime!
I just want to start off by saying all of the good reviews you see here are all fake, and they are all written by the staff themselves to make the place sound nicer. The walls here are paper thin, and you can hear every little thing that goes on in this apartment complex. It isn't the resident's fault as I can hear everything from a sneeze, to conversations being had. On top of that the maintenance here has been the worst we have experienced. They are lazy, take months to show up to fix things, and have even had an emergency happen and hadn't had it fixed in days. The office is almost always nowhere to be seen, as calls go straight to voicemail, and there is almost no one ever in the office. On top of that the amenities, such as the pool are almost always "broken". Trash compactor always full, trash everywhere, rude and incompetent staff, and we honestly could go on forever. We cannot wait to get out of here!

We are disheartened by your feedback. Please be assured that all reviews are at the discretion of our residents, and we appreciate all honest feedback that helps us improve the living experience we offer. If you are willing, we would like to speak with you directly about your concerns with our amenities, our team's service, and the quality of our homes, so please contact us at info@recarrollmanagement.com. Thank you for your time.
I have been living here almost 2 years and it has not been a pleasant experience. Staff members are rude and very unprofessional. I have had several issues with the apartment and none of the issues have been resolved. After placing multiple maintenance requests, nothing has been done. I have light bulbs that need changing and its been two weeks. I have been cooking in the dark for two weeks, which is hazardous. As of today, my lights are still not working. I am now force to go out and buy a lamp for the kitchen. Every time I call the leasing office no one answers the phone. This is the worst complex that I have ever lived in. The street lights are out and trash is everywhere. The place is dirty. I emailed the property manager Amanda, who is not so nice, and she did not care about my concerns. The complex went from a 4 star to a 1 star. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Rent is expected to be paid on time, but phone calls, emails, or request cannot be meet in a reasonable time, or at all! Something needs to change immediately within that leasing office and staff needs to bee properly training. Customer services skills are lacking amongst the entire staff. I have recently read reviews about the apartment, with residents sharing the same concerns as me. I am assuming corporate can see reviews. These poor reviews are also a reflection of corporate as well, which is not a great look. I will more than likely be breaking my lease for a more professional, pleasant, and suitable place of residence.

Thank you for connecting with us. We are sorry to hear you are unhappy with our team's responsiveness. As we have discussed, we are currently short-staffed, and we are responding to requests in the order we receive them, except for emergencies. We understand your displeasure and look forward to resolving your concerns shortly. Please feel free to contact us at newprospect@amberton-apts.com if we can be of further assistance.
My air conditioning has broken twice in as many months in the middle of Summer. It took them nearly two weeks to fix the a/c the first time, and its coming up on two weeks for the second time (it's still not fixed). Judging by the comments from the staff, I am not the only one with broken A/C, so this is a fairly widespread problem here. You need to go directly to the manager to get any straight answers, as the first time I kept calling and hearing someone would be out today. No one ever came until I showed up at the office in person. Supposedly the hold up was they needed to order a part, but I'm pretty sure the maintenance guy just showed up and put more Freon in. The second time I just came straight to the office, but that hasn't helped much this time. According to the maintenance guy, the part they needed to order should have only take a day or two to arrive, but it apparently only showed up a week after the order should have been placed. They still can't install it because there are still two other people with busted A/C in front of me and the maintenance guy isn't in today. This place is cheap, but it's for a reason, and these maintenance issues are NOT worth even the low price they are charging.

Renewing my lease here was the worst mistake ever. There’s a major lack in customer service and communication since new management has came along. I have been at the property three years now and absolutely disappointment with the new team and maintenance seems to be non existing. I’ve went over 24 hours without an operating toilet, 48 hours of a clogged drain and leaking dishwasher. Promises made by office staff of repairs coming and never happening. Old maintenance had issues resolved same day. Believe every bad review you read and stay far away

I’ve been a resident here for awhile now and I am very impressed with maintenance has improved since Anthony has become supervisor. My maintenance requests are responded too and completed expeditiously. Anthony always make sure that me as the resident is satisfied with their work.

Been a resident for a year and a half and renewing my lease was a big mistake. Horrible company all together down to unprofessionalism and disorganization. Turn over was so horrible my first year here. Only improvement was the awesome response from maintenance

My experience living in Amberton has been a good one. Interactions with the office staff have been pleasant. There has been a significant improvement with maintenance staff, as they have been managing work orders in a professional, timely, efficient and responsive manner.

New Manager and Maintenance Team is awesome. One of the many reasons I have decided to renew for 13 months.

The new maintenance staff here at the Amberton is very proactive once they receive an work order. They come in with a very professional demeanor, and they take care of the issue/issues at hand. Thanks maintenance for all your hard work and dedication.

Your praise for our team is sincerely appreciated, and we are so glad to hear you've been well-served. Thank you!
One of the worst decision was to choose this community to live at. Their trash compactor is broken 9 out of 10 times and then you will see piles of trash lying outside compactor. You will see delay when it comes to maintenance. Also, goodluck getting your security deposit back. I still haven't gotten mine and it's been 9 months since I vacated my apartment.

This complex is awful about completing work orders. The reasoning is always because they are short staffed, but as a tenant, I need my work orders completed if they are labeled as "urgent". The leasing office staff does not communicate with one another and there is only one person who is helpful. We wish we did not sign a lease here. We have been here 5 months with something happening every month, but takes a whole other month to be completed. They just want your money.

We are truly disappointed to read your feedback which doesn't reflect our typically high standards. We apologize for any miscommunication or concern about responsiveness to your inquiries. We wish to improve your living experience and invite you to contact info@recarrollmanagement.com at your earliest convenience if you have any details to add.
Thank you Sheree and staff for all you do! They always take care of us and when our lease was up, Sheree took amazing care of us. It feels like family here at Amberton and I have mostly communicated with Sheree therefore I believe she is a key reason we feel this way. The staff always takes care if any issues that arise in our unit and do a great job running the complex. We have been here for 3 years and will continue to do so as long as we are renting!
Property Manager at Amberton at Stonewater, Responded To This Review
We love to hear from years-long residents about their exceptional living experiences! Sheree is known to go the extra mile and we are fortunate to have her and the rest of our committed team members who cultivate a true home among our residents. Let us know how we can help at newprospect@amberton-apts.com or call (919) 234-8002.
This community is absolutely gorgeous! The staff greeted me with such a warm welcome. The ladies were very eager to assist me with finding my new home and they did an amazing job. The amenities are fabulous and the location is perfect. Not to mention the fresh baked cookies and the movie theater is what won me over lol. I must say that this company did a fanatic job by hiring their staff, there aren’t many places that have employees that love there job, but those women show it and you believe it. I recommend this community to anyone that is looking for luxury customer service and a place to call home!

We toured here and absolutely loved what we saw. The buildings and grounds were immaculate and the apartments were modern and stylish. The only reason we rented somewhere else was because they offered a garage and slightly (very slightly) larger floorplan.

Honestly, the management is TERRIBLE. You will not be helped in a timely manner at all. The office staff is very rude and will let you stand there for 10 minutes before you are helped. The trash area is a big mess and always smelly. There have been issues with online payments with other people. While waiting in the office behind 7 other people, you talk and hear that everyone is going through the same issues. The neighborhood is nice but sadly you have to go to the office to pick up packages or if you have questions..don't waste your time going to the office because you will be in there for 25minutes . Don't bother calling because they don't answer the phones either. Hopefully, it will get better. Nice Amenities & prices but terrible service. You get what you pay for?

Worst place ever ! The office people really bad , I have maintenance requests 2 weeks ago and they still didn't show up , I stop by the office and they told they only have one maintenance employee , when you trying to call the office they didn't pick the phone even if they are there , when you already sign the lease, they don't care ..

Classless and disgusting. Filthy breezeways, garbage all over the property, lamp posts in the parking lot haven't been fixed in over a year. Dangerous, crime-riddled, and advertised as luxury but has cheap "upgrades." Choose one of the other dozens of apartment complexes in the immediate vicinity. This one is a lost cause for anyone with even an ounce of class.
I have lived here for a year now and have to say I really enjoy living here. The staff in the office is great and very responsive to residents need. The maintenance crew is also top notch. Are there sometime issues, of course but the management goes out of their way to rectify the problems as soon as humanly possible. The grounds are impeccable and the amenities are top notch. I would highly recommend Amberton at Stonewater.
Moved recently and finding it difficult to store the items as it doesn't have many shelves in all the bothrooms and kitchan.
Amberton at Stonewater is located in an incredibly beautiful growing area. The complex is new, clean, and family-friendly. My girlfriend and I enjoy jogging inside and outside of the neighborhood; safety is not an issue. We have watched the neighborhood evolve from grass fields to a city-like environment; the movie theater in walking distance (that also includes a bowling alley, arcade, bar and sports area in the same building) is definitely a plus. The shopping centers are incredibly convenient. (We are just waiting for the city of Cary to build a walkway towards the area). The price is very reasonable for such an upcoming society and I love the fact that there are two daycare centers in walking distance for future references. I would encourage anyone to at least come and check it out! Make the decision for yourself!
Ok, many cons and a few pros. I will start with pros: great location, family oriented, near great schools and shopping. As for cons: The office staff does not know how to speak with tenants, they are disorganized and are not helpful. Read all paperwork and keep copies before signing because there is still not a dog park and swimming area did not open for a 1 year. They changed the pay online policy without letting tenants know and now charge a fee. The gym never has any towels and the equipment hardly ever works (it is not new equipment although the apt. complex is pretty new). Also, my puppy was barking during the day in her crate and a neighbor called about my puppy barking. The apt. called me during work to tell me to come home (really!!!! she is a puppy getting used to her crate and I have to work). I am a teacher and cannot leave during the middle of teaching kindergartners. It is an apartment and neighbors will here noise, it is expected. My living room also always loses power when I cook. The stove kicks the power supply and I have to reset it all of the time. I was also told when I moved in that no one had lived in this apartment and then I found out someone had because I was getting their mail.
Not ideal for the amount of rent they harge Likes and suggestions: Our family toured this community of apartments and both agreed there is not much to do and the pool is not available.I believe you can watch Netflix in a mini movie room but they close the clubhouse down by 5:00 or 6:00 at night when the office closes..Not ideal since we work.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Likes: Location, staff, floorplans and finishes in the apartments. Dislikes: The pool is nowhere near being finished, which is very unfortunate since the summer is half over. The clubhouse is of no use to most everyone that lives here since the hours are so restricted. The paint used in the apartments is very thin.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: The location and area is great. The amenities are not currently available to those that work and the pool is not complete. This is a great apartment for those without children until the completion of the amenties.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: When I toured the community, I saw many things I liked. However not many of these items were completed yet. Swimming pool is not completed, and there were not many things available to entertain the kids yet.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Our family would highly recommend this apartment community.Brandi our sales rep. Gave us excellent customer service.Brandi went above and beyond helping us with the perfect floorplan to guiding us on local area attractions.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: We love the gym with a child center incorporated into it. The office building is state of the art with a fantastic movie theater in it as well. Our apartment is brand new and very spacious.
I've been here since mid July and honestly I'm kind of surprised at all the negative reviews. I haven't had much occasion to interact with the office staff but from what I've seen they have been professional and have had free community dinners once a month, which is fun for me to stop by with the kids. As for the complaints with the pool and the garbage compactor, I'm confused as to how anyone could look at this property and be surprised that certain amenities aren't ready. It's clearly under construction; building things takes time. It doesn't take a PhD in Investigative Science to deduce that a dirt hole in August isn't going to magically transform into a full service pool by Labor Day. As to the trash compactor; I'm not sure what the issue is since there is a dumpster right on site, but perhaps some people feel that uncompacted trash is somehow unsatisfactory. The only notes that I have ever gotten on my door were to advise the residents to use the provided bike racks to lock their bikes instead of the staircase railings. This is a safety issue and I don't object to their concern. Maintenance is friendly and extremely overworked: to my knowledge there is one guy with some future hires coming shortly. I've had a couple minor issues and he responded promptly and got the issue resolved. This isn't a luxury apartment complex, and the price reflects that. I'm paying under $1000 for a two bedroom in an exceptional school district with very easy highway access. I wouldn't live here for 10 years or anything (the apartments are a bit snug), but it's certainly good enough for a year for my family's purposes.
What ever comes out of their mouth is false... its sad.. We have been lied to about when we can move in and their attitude was if you don't like it than you can go somewhere else which shows a lack of care to customer service. When we did finally move in why we stayed with them I don't know I would of rather of went somewhere it was more established and you could talk to the residents about the place and management. The layouts are very generic only 3 I believe and not a lot of storage especially in the kitchen the cabinets are so tall you need a step stool to reach the top of them which is very inconvenient and I am 5'7". The appliances as the previous renter stated are very bottom of the line, the microwave has already sparked and I was just heating a plate of leftovers, the stove takes forever to heat up and forever to bake brownies about an hour. The noise you can hear anyone walking above you if you are on the 2nd floor or probably the first as well. Don't think about getting satellite they are very detailed about how it can be set up which makes it pretty hard to do so needless to say that is out of the options for tv. Notes we get almost on a daily basis from management. I didn't think we were kids but that's how I feel we are being treated. I am unsure what we are able to do here without getting a note. Construction is a big mess around the apartment which they make you sign an acknowledgement of the this. The pool is not going to be completed till the colder weather hits so we will not be able to use it this season although they keep saying the end of August but August has been here and gone. No one works on it for a whole day so I know why it won't be done. The laundry room is almost set up but its for looks and giggles I guess. Its still not ready so most people have had to bite the bullet and buy a washer and dryer. The trash compactor was started but just as all the other projects with the exception to the buildings of course it just sits and waits to be completed. So if you hear the staff open their mouth don't believe a word they say I've heard from numerous people one says a playground will be installed another said no they heard not so its really hard to know what really is going in and whats really not. If your looking to be happy I really suggest moving on its been an eye opener for me.

Hello "neighbor". We seem to be having the same problems. I'm sorry you're having to go through this. Empty promises, huh?! I hope to meet you around the complex some time...Maybe we'll see each other at the clubhouse gym or something. You know, that place with thre really squeaky elliptical machine that hasn't been fixed yet?! Haha In all seriousness, I am sorry we're both having to deal with the hideousness of an incompetent manager who can't effectively handle her staff nor her business. It's really too bad. No wonder they're paying people in Starbucks gift cards to write nice reviews about them...
Previous reveiwer is correct, dates are constantly being pushed back and lied about by staff. Signed up in June for a September move in. First building I selected was told may not be finished. Didn't receive a call until end of August that it would not be done. Selected another building and apartment which was definitely going to be finished, and found out Sept. 4th that it will not be ready either. Have less than a week to move out of my current apartment with no where to go. Was also told today that they will not give my $450 deposit back, even though they guaranteed the second apartment would be ready. Office staff is continually changing, have been there at least 5 times since June and have yet to speak to the same person. Have not seen any construction workers other than the ones working on the pool. No apparent change in any of the building construction since June. Office staff tells me every time I show up that the certificte of occupancy inspection is happening in the next couple of days, but it never happens. Do not believe anything they tell you.

I completely agree with the previous comments! I was told that the pool would be ready by the end of July, next it was the end of August; and there would be a huge end of summer pool party for residents..... its October, still no pool. The interior is dark like the builders cheated us out of a wilndow or two. Also very cheap appliances, no storage space, very tall cabinets (I keep a stool in my kitchen,) and the kitchen sink/faucet....please! no attention to detail whatsoever. Very poorly made. I am on the second floor and can hear my neighbors dog running around upstairs. I had a leak in my master bathroom ceiling, maintenance had to come in and tear half the ceiling out, they left my apartment saying they were going to check on the warranty and they would be right back to fix it.... I left to go on vacation the next day for 7 days and returned to the same mess when I got home. Now my AC is out. These apartments are nothing luxurious and definitely not worth the price!
