“Great location” doesn’t do this lively neighborhood justice. South Lake Union resides in a pristine location on the shore of Lake Union to the north and off the coast of Elliot Bay to the west. Aside from its location, South Lake Union offers immense perks. Property Ratings at AMLI 535
An amazing value given the location. Right on the edge of downtown, easily accessible to everything you could want in an urban living situation. All the amenities you want and use, and none that you don't!
Amli 535 is a good building with a great, caring staff and I've been happy to call it home for over five years now. If I did things over I'd pick the east side of the building (for a number of quality-of-life reasons) but I have no regrets.
We lived at AMLI 535 for about 5 years. It had been great until the past 6 months or so. It's now like living in a nightclub. We had a great community and had been one of the best rentals that we had lived. However, due to COVID, they slashed prices and brought in anyone. Upkeep has gone out the window. Tennents have trashed the place, people run the halls all hours of the night. We have had unknown people trying our door late at night to see if it's locked. Music is blasting every night of the week until 3 and 4am. Office management no longer cares about things like this. What a shame! Our building went from a really nice community to one in which staff no longer cares about anything. A lot of the long-term residents I have known have already moved out. This place really sucks. I can pretty much guarantee if you decide to move here that you will be leaving at the end of your lease.
I have been incredibly disappointed with my experience at AMLI 535. I would not recommend this building as they did not address tenant concerns regarding safety and there is a regular occurring trespassing issue. I reported a bi-weekly trespassing issue and it took over 3 weeks for a small repair to the gate and a security camera that is not monitored. It has been a month now and they still have yet to install a proper wall or get adequate security.
I don't have much positive things to say. If management continues to not SOLVE the issues of residents who i) don't wear a mask in the hallways, ii) smoke weed within their apartments and the smell travels to the hallways, iii) play loud music way past 10pm, then I will not only not renew my lease, but I will also post this feedback publicly.
Loving my new place at Amli 535. The commute getting here was very straightforward and easy. The move in went well, and the South Lake Union area is great! You can basically walk anywhere. I love it here

AMLI 535 is a quiet community where you can work from home in peace. With no distractions, large floor plans, and great amenities, I cannot recommend it enough!
The best thing about AMLI 535 is friendliness of the staff. Since we were relocating to Seattle, we could not have a prior physical tour of the apartment. The online 3D tour helped a lot and the management co-operated well with the details and pics of the apartment, to help us make an informed decision. We were not fully aware of the all the amenities in the complex and were delighted to find them after moving in, particularly the print-station, which turned out to be extremely useful after the COVID-19 shelter-in-place became active. The maintenance is quick and hassle free. The management continues to be very helpful for any issue big or small. Overall, I feel that this community is one of the best in this locality.

It was an amazing first apartment for me in a new city. The convenient location and amenities, such as the rooftop, made it even more appealing to both get out and explore and invite new friends over.
I have only lived here for around a month and half and the experience has been awesome. The move in was very smoothly thanks to the amazing Casey and Taylor who made everything easy. Great place to live. 5 stars.

This is a great apartment building! In the heart of South Lake Union, you have easy access to amenities and other great neighborhoods without having to commute thru the highly trafficked areas of SLU. The building has all the amenities you'd need, from fitness, to a cafe / game room, rooftop terrace equipped with a bar, grill, fire pits and a dog relief area, and an easy package pickup system. Finally, the staff at AMLI 535 are some of the best. They are extremely communicative and respond / resolve issues quickly and are always extremely kind.
Value for money apartment! Modern appliances with great floor plans and natural light. Rent is easily 10% cheaper than other apartments im downtown! And having free Starbucks coffee in the lounge area is fab!
Everybody who works at AMLI 535 from management to the maintenance team are very professional, courteous and a pleasure to work with. The location of AMLI 535 in proximity to my daily activities is very ideal and the building is always kept very neat! Views from the rooftop are unparalleled to those in the area, and I'm excited to spend time up there in the summer.
