Nestled just north of I-30, North Arlington is an idyllic neighborhood with a distinct suburban atmosphere. Wide roads are lined with lush trees and modern homes throughout North Arlington, while North Collins Street touts plenty of familiar commercial offerings, from chain restaurants to national retailers.
North Arlington’s sprawling parks and scenic golf courses stand in stark contrast to the bustling environment on the southern side of I-30, which is where you’ll find popular destinations like Six Flags Over Texas, Globe Life Park (home of the Texas Rangers), and AT&T Stadium (home of the Dallas Cowboys). North Arlington residents enjoy a quiet place to come home to as well as convenience to some of the Metroplex’s most exciting amenities.

Property Ratings at AMP @ The Grid
Recently moved and the Manager on the property got my lease processed and approved very quickly. Utilities and Internet was also quick to setup. Main issue cam with contractors and maintenance crew. Seemed to be a lot of miscommunication and some issues with minor fixes being finalized. Office staff is very pleasant and good to deal with.

Property Manager at AMP @ The Grid, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your kind words about LaDonna, Victoria, and Brandon. We are glad to hear that your move-in experience was a positive one. We appreciate you, and if there's anything you need in the future, please let us know!
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!! I moved in October 2022 and since December my AC/Heater is not working. Is February 2023 and it’s still not working. I have done everything! Call the office, go personally and talk to the property manager and I have also posted SEVERAL service requests. Besides my AC not working…. The first month of living here, the property manager opened my door the supposedly show my apartment to “potential new residents”. The so called property manager did not even check before opening my apartment. She said “it was an honest mistake “. If THAT IS NOT ENOUGH….. my car got towed because it was under a tree that they were going to cut. NO PREVIOUS NOTICE…. Take my advice, this is the worst place to live. Don't do it.
Property Manager at AMP @ The Grid, Responded To This Review
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We understand how inconvenient it can be to have a broken AC/Heater, and we are sorry to hear that yours has not been fixed yet. We take all concerns seriously and we apologize for the inconvenience your car being towed has caused. We would like to learn more about your experience and invite you to reach out to us directly.
Amp at the grid is a nice apartment with horrible maintenance and a non-communicating management team
Management staff are well professional but the work orders do not get picked up for weeks. I am still waiting after 2 weeks and multiple follow ups.
This apartment complex is very black and white. If you pay low rent, you get a broken apartment and terrible management. Impossible to get anything fixed without waiting in the leasing office 5 times. Its consistent, to give it credit. Everyone seems to have the same kinds of issues. Management is no where to be contacted, no heating or A/C, water leak or damages, or broken locks.
AMP at the Grid has the potential to be a really good community but the management is horrible. There are roaches, nothing ever gets fixed, and the property manager is barely around to talk to. Speaking with the other employees is useless because nothing ever gets resloved. I'm really at the point where I'm going to take legal action.
AMP @ The Grid is a decent place to live, overall. They don't nag you or bother you too much or at all as long as you do your part of paying rent, and keeping your area clean. But when it comes to maintenance orders or any other concerns you may need to tell them in person for better service.
This use to be a good place to live. The previous office staff never answered the phone, work orders are not completed, the grounds have become horrible. To get anything done you have to go to the office to speak to someone. Trash, noise, shootings and people breaking into cars is standard around here.
They dont fix things around here in this AMP at the Grid community. They dont have a maintenance team. Just pay your rent, they dont care if your unit have problems. If you talk to them about the issues, everything will be noted down and they talk nice that things will be taken care of, but once the conversation done, then its done. All words are promised words, no action so dont expect anything. Want things to be fix, pay your own and fix your own. They dont care and wont care.
My experience in these apartments for the last nine months has been awful I’ve had trouble since I’ve moved in I wouldn’t recommend anyone here I’m still waiting on pest control to come still hasn’t come after two months I’m still waiting on things to be fixed this still hasn’t been fixed all they are doing it’s closing them out so I reopened him and call cold compliance on them
I would not recommend this community to someone I don't like. No issues are ever resolved, the leasing office team is, for the most part, rude and dismissive, and the grounds aren't maintenanced outside of overly scheduled landscaping teams. There aren't enough pet waste bins throughout the property to encourage pet owners to use them; needing to walk across the street to the separate complex or all the way to the interior of the complex has resulted in the entire area being covered with waste. In this heat, it simply isn't worth the smell. Our unit's doors were hung incorrectly resulting in massive gapping and an energy sink because of it. This has been reported but never corrected; and has resulted in repeat bug issues like wasps and beetles getting into the unit.
Living here has been a nightmare. Either the garbage hasn't been picked up for weeks and the dumpster are overflowing or something is breaking and maintenance isn't responding to requests for WEEKS or MONTHS! I wish I had never moved here. No one should live here
Pay the rent but nothing will be fixed when things get broken because there is no maintenance team. Community team is all about vague words, just talk no action.
This property has gone through several management changes and with each one I am hopeful that they will take care of the residents. The current one is, by far, the worst. Work orders go months without being addressed, some are simply deleted and forgotten. The front office staff (with exception to ONE) is NOT helpful and appear to simply be here for a paycheck. The home experience is horrible. I used to actually be proud to say I lived here, but with each passing day, situations make it worse. I pay my rent ON TIME and I feel like I am worse off than when I moved in here. It has become increasingly disheartening.
This apartment is horrible I would not recommend to my worst enemy. I would recommend anyone that is looking for an apartment do not rent here.
Poor experience. Needs lots of work from the owners to office staff
My apartment was not ready for move in, in addition to not being habitable and safe to live in with my two year old daughter. It was infested, dirty and not done with construction. Front office left for the weekend with no help to fix things and have yet to return my money and emails. I am actively suing. Their employees do not even show up for work. Grey Star, Do better!
If I could give this place a negative number, I would. They just got the front office repainted; however, I have been living here since November still being told the fact that I have an unsafe balcony, broken dishwasher, filthy carpet due to previous tenants, front door that does not lock properly, broken lock on balcony door. Just recently, we are now without hot water and went to office after calling and completing work order, and they still have not fixed, but they had someone in front office doing work on Saturday. This place had me homeless for weeks because I paid them rent, but they didn’t have my place ready. Even after speaking with manager, I had to wait an additional day to move in after waiting for weeks. I had to pay movers twice, throw away all my food, and was homeless. They showed no concern and are very inconsiderate. The photos online are also false advertisement. I am in the process of pressing charges because they seem to think the emotional, physical, and financial distress that I am suffering is of no concern.
Impossible to contact office personal through portal, email, phone. Must have the time to stop by the office to speak to them directly.
I wish I would have taken other reviews seriously when considering this apartment. The front office staff shows no concern for the disastrous state of individual apartments or the apartments as a whole. My apartment is still not fully functional even a month later. The AC was broken for days during a heat wave. My washer hookup is still broken so I've not been able to use my washer at all. I fully regret signing the lease.
Not a good place to live, under new management 5 times since I been here for 6 years!!! Commutation is bad.
Absolutely unacceptable place to live. Do not live here if you don’t like roaches, if you want things to be fixed, if you want to be treated like your concerns matter. They do not care.
Management doesn’t care, the people in the office definitely don’t care, maintenance sucks. They constantly change companies for maintenance and one other company dealing with the office. They don’t fix the issues that you complain about either. I’ve placed at least 7 work orders all at once and none of them were addressed. Lord forbid your AC isn’t working, they’ll tell you it’s no emergency yet my pipes were frozen over.
I have talked to people in the office about my kitchen sink everyday since Saturday (4/16) only to get told they will have someone come fix it that day. I am writing this on 4/22 and my kitchen sink is still in my cabinet ontop of the pipes. I can not do dishes nor cook my kids a meal. I am not happy about having to order food everyday and not having someone come fix this!
I usually have good things to say about my living experience, but lately things have gone sour. Communication is lackluster to none and we cannot seem to get work order requests resolved. I have work order requests from last year that still haven't been addressed along with one that I submitted two months ago that still hasn't been fixed. I really need management to address these issues.
At this very moment, I would not recommend Amp at the Grid. I would suggest some changes in the front office. I would not want anyone to work in my front office that could allow my property to look the way it has been looking for the last several weeks. This is embarrassing. When I moved in, they had you choosing apartments that were showing available and ready for certain move in dates that are not ready. The leasing manager told me that so many apartments were ready; however, I was not able to move in because the apartment that was ready as stated. This in turn caused me to be homeless, I had to pay to move my things into a storage. Manager showed no concern. I was the one having to go to the office every evening after work.
Don't move here. The office staff is horrible they never answer the phone. They do not fix anything and it's trash all over the complex. The only thing you'll get are excuses and lies about when something will be fixed. It's going on two weeks and my AC is still out! My daughter is allergic to grass and she is sick because we have to keep the windows open. I've had to take off work twice just to talk to someone who blew me off. I sent an email to the manager with no response. This has got to be the worst management to date. I can not wait to move
It was a good apartment complex but with multiple development companies from out of state taking over I find that there is less care about the residents and more on cutting costs
Inside the apartments are beautiful and priced is great. It a save place to live also. However the outside is dirty and they take forever to fix stuff when called.
Absolutely disgusting when moving in, roach infestation, no working dishwasher, maintenance can’t be bothered to come fix issues or change simple light bulbs. Waste of money at this point.
Now that I've paid my final months rent I feel like I should warn anyone who will listen. Just over two months ago someone either threw, shot, or slingshotted something into my bedroom window at around 1:30 in the morning. I jumped out of my bed not knowing what was going on or what I'd heard, and I fell onto the floor and my foot broke a hole in the wall. I called the Drucker and Falk management at the complex the next morning, having not gotten any indication that my electronic report had been received. They did not answer the phone any of the 9 times I called them that day, nor did they return my messages. After I got off work, I went in and talked to them, and they confirmed they were unaware of my situation, but assured me they'd have someone right over to start getting both things fixed. That suggests that no one at Drucker and Falk is monitoring the website or the phone system. That was a Monday. They didn't show up, but it had been almost 4pm by the time they'd gotten to me, so I wasn't surprised. But then they didn't show up Tuesday. Now, my wife was working from home 100% of the time, so if they had come by, they would have gotten in. But they did not. So I called several times on Wednesday. Got no answer. Went in, they assured me that they'd have someone out either that afternoon or tomorrow, for sure. As of this writing, it has been over two months, with several more visits to the office, not one call FROM the local office or anyone from Drucker and Falk, and my window and wall are both still broken. When I turned in my notice that I would be vacating the property at the end of my lease, it was a two page letter of things I had reported that had never been taken care of, most of which were water damage from frequent leaks from the apartment above me. I made them sign it and keep a copy, because at this point I can only think that they intend to not fix any of them, then keep my security deposit and say I hadn't reported any of the problems. But I did, and I have a signed letter that says so. Drucker and Falk has actively ignored my requests for help, hidden behind a non functioning website and phone service, told me for months that they would be taking care of me then not doing so, and leaving me with a broken window for months on end. There is no reason to believe they won't do the same to you.
Rude people, dirty pools, lies, lazy workers, paying for an application that is never processed: Don’t waste your money applying here. They obviously don’t know what they’re doing, and they will lie to you instead of trying to get the real answer. They don’t know what floor their units are on. Got different answers depending on who we spoke to. They lied and said their pool was being renovated (it’s obviously not) and that the other properties they own (current) had open pools we could use (those were filthy and closed). The people in the office are extremely rude. One guy told me I could email a copy of my SSN to him. That is not a secure way to send your personal information!!! How does this person have a job here!? We had to call several times over the span of two weeks since sending in our application, because we weren’t receiving any news on the status. First we were told it would be processed in 72 hours- then we were told Monday of this week, then a girl lied to us and said we were approved and that she emailed us- she didn’t. The move in date was supposed to be in 3 days and still we had no word. We called in and asked for a refund and to cancel the application. The man said, it’s cancelled, just hit cancel. But the application fee is non-refundable.” This is unacceptable. We spent $150 to apply for an apartment we could have easily been approved for. We want our money back.
Don't live here. Seriously. Pay attention to the negative reviews. When I lived here, several times they ran promotions where they would have raffles for residents that gave them good reviews. A lot of the positive reviews here are likely because the resident wanted to try to win a free TV or something. I lived at this complex for a year and a half. At first glance, it seemed fine. The pool is nice and big and the office staff were very friendly; however, this company is very good at marketing. They are not good at apartment management. The apartments themselves have nice layouts; however, the quality is terrible. The units are "renovated" to have newer carpets, countertops, etc. However, the renovations themselves are absolutely terrible. There was obviously no prep beforehand and so there are lumps under the carpets, the carpet was not fully stapled down in places, the newly painted cabinets look terrible and in many places the painters clearly just painted over dirt and crumbs. The buildings are also old and so incredibly loud. I could hear every single thing my neighbors did. I can't overstate how easily sound travelled from my neighbors' apartments. You can also hear absolutely everything that goes on outside. Every car driving through, people talking outside, dogs barking (SO MANY BARKING DOGS), it might as well have been in your living room. The apartment management was for the most part, terrible. It was almost impossible to get in touch with them and when you did, they gave you the runaround. I could never get a clear answer about anything. At one point, I showed up to collect a package from the office and they flat out told me they didn't have time to get it for me. They would also close the office without notice. The pool was constantly closed and at one point didn't open until late July. They claimed it was because of inspections but they clearly did not plan ahead and have their stuff together. Finally - this place is NOT SAFE. I lived at the back of the property, facing the complex behind. There were constant drug deals going on and I came home from work one day and someone had been murdered like 30 feet from my apartment. It was the complex next door, true, but it speaks to the safety of the neighborhood. Keep looking, please. I am trying to spare anyone else the horrible experience I had here. I am not an overly critical person, and am very understanding of the difficulty involved in customer service jobs, but this is a bad place.
terrible management all the way around had to put multiple of the same maintenance request that was a easy repair , never answer the phones , always rude , and the management is very disrespectful to me and my wife I wouldn’t recommend anybody rent here .

Beautiful inside but terrible management all the way around had to put multiple of the same maintenance request that was a easy repair , never answer the phones , always rude , and the management is very disrespectful to me and my wife I wouldn’t recommend anybody rent here .
The Office never answers the phone, when you leave a message for any type of work, the office never returns the call, they change staff like they change their minds. There is no consistency in in-office personnel. That is very frustrating to a resident. There is no follow-through with the office, most of the time you have to keep calling and the tenant has to follow up with the office. There are no stars that I would give.
AMP at the Grid looks okay from the outside, but isn't worth the trouble. I have lived in some low quality apartments when I was younger. Never anything so bad as this place ended up being. The leasing staff are generally incompetent when it comes to doing their job. The units that were talked up, as well as upgrades shown to us, were not available. The deposit and rent amount were misquoted to us and they refused to show us the apartment we would be living in before our move in date. Our move in was a disaster. When we arrived at the agreed upon date and time, we were told our apartment wasn’t ready and to find a hotel. We insisted that we be allowed to enter the apartment as we didn’t have that option. The carpets were supposed to have been done the day before, they weren't. They tried to convince us to have it done the next day. We insisted they get the carpets done that night because our movers were coming the next morning. We discovered a hole in the window in the master bedroom, and other windows were broken. There was a huge hole in the drywall of the storage closet and lights didn't work. Several hours later we were able to move in. The dishwasher in the unit didn’t work and had to be replaced. The apartments themselves are in terrible condition. We had sections of our floor that felt as if we would fall through into the apartment below. Both doors let drafts into the apartment. The AC barely worked. We could not cool the apartment below 80 in the summer and it stayed cold in the winter. Paint was carelessly slapped over cabinets and drawers. The deck of our balcony felt unsafe. Residents walk their dogs off leash and do not clean up after their pets. There is constant noise at odd hours. On more than one occasion, they refused to release packages addressed to my wife to me or vice versa. Even though they knew us both by name and we had given permission to them to release our packages to each other more than once. I would notifications that a package had been left in the office. When we got there to get our delivery, they would go in and rummage around for a while and come back saying there was no package. When I would show them the delivery confirmation, all of a sudden it was there. The pools were closed until well into summer. It took over four months to get part of our deposit back without a list of deductions. The only good thing about the property is the maintenance staff. I would not recommend this community to anyone.
Located off I-30(right by Whole Foods!),this complex is great.I Love not having carpeted floors. The layouts are well designed to make the best use of sq feet. The kitchens and bathrooms are updated and beautiful. They have always been quick to respond to a work ticket.
Love these apts. And the staff. I have lived here 11yrs in my apt an thats where me y my kids call home. I wouldnt think of moving. When you have problems they usally are quick to resolve issues.. Luv the manger Ms.Vicki shes a good person as well as staff an maintance....
I have not yet moved in but our tour with Jessika was amazing. Very informative and she’s super sweet! I really hope if we choose to move here the staff will continue to be this way and that this was not another apartment complex acting nice to get our business.
I moved here 4 months ago from illinois and I love it!! Any issues I had were corrected quickly. Hate the new rent policy I feel it sets the tennants up for failure. Life bring things beyond your control such as pay dates. So it makes things a little stressful and less enjoyable. But other than that I love living here Management has been awesome!!
Over priced for what they look like in real life. I’m familiar with the area and they just painted over the history like most apartments do. Nice In the unit, no gate, buildings are ugly & cheap looking. The pictures are the best angles, not impressive for the price.

We are disappointed that you feel this way. We appreciate your feedback!Best,AMP at the Grid Management
We moved into Amp at the Grid a few months ago. In that time, our air conditioner began messing up (after business hours) and was fixed within 2 hours of putting in the request. Our garbage disposal and dish washer were not working and not draining properly and it was fixed within 24 hours of putting in the request. The front office communication gets a bit mixed up sometimes but overall I do like it here. Most of the employees are super friendly and the apartments and neighbors are great.

My experience started similar to the 5 star review below. Greeted when i came in friendly staff etc. i lived there for only a year and in that time they dialed back the water pressure to the point i could barely wash dishes, they tried to fine me for having a pet even though he was present at the time of signing the lease. Was double billed with utilities and every time i brought it up they just said theyll fix it. (They didn’t) put in an order to have the toilet fixed since it took 7-10 flushes to get anything down. They never fixed it. All around this complex is crooked and will do anything they can to get money from you. Even go as far as to say you never gave notice that you’re leaving after your lease is up.
