Conroe is located in Montgomery County just north of Houston. Since Interstate 45 travels through Conroe and leads into Houston’s business district, residents prefer living in this suburban neighborhood and commuting to work.
It’s no secret that the cost of living in Conroe is lower than Houston. The city is attractive to many renters because of the reasonable commute times, and it’s only a seven-mile drive to Lake Conroe, a popular outdoor recreational area.
There’s a lot going on in the city – you just have to know where to look. Locals enjoy exploring the Sam Houston National Forest, which covers 163,000 acres of land and is the perfect place for camping or a scenic hike. After a lovely dinner at Red Brick Tavern, locals look forward to a musical at the Crighton Theatre on North Main Street. The Heritage Museum of Montgomery County is a great place to go and learn about the city’s evolution through the decades – and it is right next to Candy Cane Park.

Property Ratings at Anatole at The Pines Apartments
The manager is so rude! It's like a swinging door there. She hires and fires people all the time.
I can not complain, at all. I love my townhome, and the staff. I am comfortable and cozy at Anatole at the Pines.
I am not sure where to start with how pleased I am with this community. I guess I would like to start with the amazing office staff, the apartment is incredibly quiet, I have met all my neighbors in passing and they are polite and very, well, neighborly. They have a Domino’s Pizza that I could seriously walk to, which is a big plus in my book. I would highly recommend Anatole at The Pines
We moved out nearly three years ago. The only reason I am providing a review is that we just received an e-mail requesting one today. At the time of our lease, there were numerous issue with management, lease agreement paperwork, water leaks, trash pickup, sewage backup, terrible neighbors, and numerous complaints were unresolved. We really felt unsafe when a teenager died by gunshot in the apartments. There were many e-mails sent out from management, complaining about people not following the rules and never actually doing anything about it. I would not recommend this complex.
Never had any issues! Great place! Would come back for sure
These are great apartments in a great area. The maintenance and office staff are always friendly and quick to respond to such issues. I have loved my time here and will always recommend it to others
Apartment complex refuses to honor quoted deals, If i had the choice I would do business elsewhere.
When you are taking a shower, you don't know if it is the bath water upstairs. Serious water leaks! And you live with the cockroaches! terrible! ! !
Honestly, the manager Crystal is very rude. She is not bad when you want to sign the lease, but then she is SO unprofessional and rude after. I also had a big roach infestation and the pest control did NOT work at all. I would not recommend this place. The only nice thing about it is the pool. Christina and Mike are very nice employees, however, I felt as though I could not even be comfortable in my own home. I had around three roaches a week...THREE. That is just outrageous. Would not recommend this place at all.
Terrible place to live, dogs crap in the walkways and management just plain sucks. They will loose your paperwork and charge you fees because of their lack of follow-up. I left this complex over 6 months ago and just now got a letter of debt I owed them with no contact from them at all until it hit my credit report. The pool police don't allow any floats for kids to play on and they will tow your friends cars if they don't have an over night pass. Beware of the no security deposit scam they run also, when you leave if there is anything they have to do, they will charge you more than what a security deposit would have cost. Stay away!
We sold our home on Lake Conroe to start adjusting to apartment living for retirement years. Choosing Anatole at the Pines was our best choice. We love living here and feel safe. The office staff and maintenance staff are wonderful. There are going to be things come up occasionally but the staff are great about taking care of them. I have read the reviews and believe me when I say this complex is a great place to live.
We have made the Anatole at the Pines our home for almost a year and have seven months left on our current lease. Our three bedroom home is modern, spacious, open and bright. The floor plan is great! We are proud to call the Anatole community our home!
When I went to check this place out I was amazed by the welcome greeting I got. They answered all my my questions with honesty and made me feel comfortable.Ive been renting here now for a month and never had any problems with bugs or maintenance .The gym is amazing and the other residence are all very kind .I would highly recommend renting here!!
A few weeks ago I went to look at Anatoly at the pines. I would like to start off by saying I love this place . From the moment I walked in I was greated by two young ladies with dark hair and they both shook my hand . Then this really adorable bubbly blonde came out of the back office and shook my hand to and said welcome with such a big smile . Let me tell you , she was like a ray of sunshine that just lit up the whole room. She is the one who took me around the place and I can honestly say it was the best tour I ever had . She smiled and made me laugh the whole time .. she's a charrctor I tell you . It really made me feel like I had lived there for years and At that moment I knew that this is going to be the place I live at when my lease is up in feb. I knew my new home search was over after looking at that place and just the suppior customer service was just amazing .not to mention , the whole place is like clean and well maintained and that itself is very important to me. I hope they have a place for me when I'm ready to move . Kuddos to that whole amazing staff. Thank you for making me feel so welcome .
This place is trash, roach infested apartments. I have lived miserably due to leaks and bugs. On top of it all the cops are here every night arresting people or breaking up a fight. Not a place you want to live.
Don't Rent Here! You'll end up with an insect problem, which will take a month to try to resolve, if you have your apartment sprayed be sure to be home when they come, as they chemicals they use are unsafe for both humans and pets. You'll have Gnats like the rest of us. They'll send someone into your apartment without notice and they won't lock the door when leaving. There are bloodsmears in the hallways. Major Drug problems in this complex so if you're into that, welcome! If you prefer a more professional community, RUN! The only good thing about this place is your neighbors. The office staff will tell you lies. Just to sympathize with you. No guard on site, never was, probably never will be. Nicole is the manager of the office, very rude, nice when you're leasing but forget about it after that, she's a total dragon. Amanda you'll find going into multiple units with different residents, so have fun looking her in the eyes when your trying to rent. They sent the cleaning people out to clean our apartment for move in two days after we moved in. so no wonder the place was a mess before hand. They built this place very quickly and under budget, so you've been warned when you rent and your stuff starts falling apart. They go through maintence guys like babies go through diapers. Except babies let you know somehow they need changing, the office will not give the maintence guys any work orders. Oh Yea, don't forget you pay for amneities, trash pickup, which they take and hide your trash can, the company has his kids doing the pick up and they half the job. There's a compactor but if you choose to take your own trash out they still charge you for trash pickup, even if they take your trash can away for a week and put it in the office. You'll be woken up by either cops on the complex or people in the pool area. Office staff won't do anything about anything. Oh, and that nice firepit you see in the pictures, forget it, doesn't work, hasn't worked since they opened.
Worst apartments ever! Please save yourself the headache!
