Property Ratings at Anderson Pointe
Dirty, Management is horrible, Cops there quite frequently, Drugs, No pool, no playground
You get what you pay for. The rent is cheap for a reason. Peeling countertops due to lousy paint job. Half the outlets don't work. Black mold in vents. Floors peeling and ceilings bowing due to water damage. They're very unprofessional. If they don't want to do something then they won't return any calls or emails. Don't keep their word. Run far far away!!!
As other reviewers have stated- units have been painted and patched up instead of upgrades being made. Ceilings and showers are peeling from age. A/C on the second level is nonexistent. Lots of sketchy activity goes on here: non-residents dump their trash here, constant smell of weed, and loud music. Basketball goal was a nice thing at first, but then groups who don’t even live in the community broke it. Pool has not been open for use in the 18 months I’ve lived here. Maintenance group overall is not bad. Charging for a valet trash service when dumps are no more than 50ft from any front door is unnecessary.
The apartments were built in the 70s and all the units I've seen look like it. They have been patched up and painted vs remodeled. My apartment has mold in the ac vents and other places that I have to constantly fight. The ceiling paint is falling off due to moisture issues. There's water leaks all the time. If something breaks it's like pulling teeth to get it fixed properly. People outside smoking weed and making noise all hours of the day and night. I like to keep my window open and I can't due to the smell. The longer youre here the more you pay. You'll end up paying more than someone moving in even if you have been a loyal renter. The AC system is terrible because they are so old I guess. It barely blows in some areas. It has to constantly run so it drives up your power bill. Even though the location is super convenient if I have options I won't be renewing unless things change drastically.
The pictures on this website are bad advertisement. This is nothing close to what you will actually get. Bathrooms and kitchen are old and needed updating badly. Buildings need to be pressure washed. Maintenance is a joke. I was told during initial walk through that anything I did not like would be fixed 3 months later only the minor issues are fixed. I was also told that the upstairs was a little warmer than downstairs. Well on a good day it is in the low 80s upstairs. I keep the thermostat on 70 and it is so hot upstairs. I tried to drop the temp lower but the a.c. unit freezes up. Trust me this place is not worth the headaches.
I've lived here for over one year with NO issue at all. Every time I have ever had an issue (rarely) - my calls are met with prompt service. The landlord, Kat is also wonderful - she's extremely laid back, down to earth, and does a great job managing this properly. My neighbors are fairly quiet, save for typical apartment sounds of movement. People here are polite and I have NEVER had any issues with other tenants. There seems to be no drama going on here. There are several officers that live within the community and knowing that gives a great peace of mind for your safety. They are pet friendly and respectful that I have animals when maintenance is being done. NEVER had any issues with package stealing (I order online often), never had any trouble with my car in uncovered parking, and I feel genuinely safe as a single person. The community is clean, they pick the trash up right from your door, have monthly pest control, and ALWAYS warn you before someone is going to enter your unit so you can either prepare your pets, or know if anything is disturbed in the slightest it was probably just shuffled during maintenance. All in all, me and my 2 animals are quite comfortable and happy and have NO intention on moving any time soon. So if you're looking for a safe, quiet, comfortable place to stay and don't mind the occasional dated looking cabinet or dishwasher, you'll be set here. Have never really had an issue.
I'm new to Hartwell Pointe but move in was very easy. The property manager and the maintenance man were both extremely helpful making sure everything was in working order. Little things that needed fixed in the bathroom were complete within 24 hours! I love my new home! Very clean and well kept for such an older property.
That review was made by the property manager. not helpful. Carlos in maintenance and Cornelius in leasing great people rest of them Brandi, Katherine. are never helpful they hide behind a desk act like they know everything and never come out to greet anybody and are very rude if they do. Andrew new maintenance supervisor guy barley seen him probably hiding in the shop like the previous maintenance supervisor. Came to my apartment to install new air handler and blew it up TWICE. Radco never notice these things. Here a helpful review. If you want to rent here and want something done in your apartment just call Radco and things will get done cause you will have to wait over a week or a month to have a simple work order done
Moved from NYC 2012 November 1 since being here wentup on our rent twice refered people here fridge dinr work pro perly lovw the vieq great place ti live staff should be more understanding
awesome if you love cockroaches. only thing I can afford. don't feel safe having my family here
I have lived here a few years and love it! Victoria in the office is always available to help with anything. I have never had any problems, and if i have an issue they will come fix it asap!. I wish i would have moved straight to these apartments instead of renting a house first. Couldnt ask for anything better!
The town homes are like an oven in the summer up stairs they won't get a new a conditioner system. All they tell u to do is get an window unit. Also you pay someone 23 bucks to pick your trash off your door step and put it in the dumpster when it's 2ft away I think that should be optional
