Eleven miles northwest of Philadelphia, Roxborough’s convenient locale provides residents easy accessibility to city attractions in a charming, yet modern neighborhood.
Prior to the 1854 Act of Consolidation, most of Roxborough was part of the Roxborough Township. The area was a thriving and successful textile mill, which helped fund many of the community’s schools and parks during that time.
Nestled between the Schuylkill River and Wissahickon Valley Park, there’s plenty of natural green space and settings to go around. Locals enjoy fishing for trout at the park, and going on evening walks at the Manayunk Canal in their free time. Many delicious and trendy restaurants encompass Ridge Avenue – but a popular, no-frills eatery is Dalessandro’s Steak, a cheesesteak shop by the Walnut Lane Golf Course.
Residents are comforted by their direct access to Interstate 76, SEPTA bus and rail services, and Thomas Jefferson University East Falls Campus.

Property Ratings at Andorra Point
I called about two weeks ago to inquiry about a 2B 1B, and never got a call back. This is super unprofessional , I am no longer interested in this complex since they can’t even give a call back, I don’t even want to find out what it would be like dealing with a problem after moving in. If you are looking for a place and want a quick call back, look somewhere else.

Thank you for taking the time to give us a review. We sincerely apologize about the issues you experienced, and appreciate the feedback as it shows us areas for improvement.
I applied at the end of April 2022 for a 2 bedroom. Unfortunately, I was not approved. At the time of the application they took a deposit and stated it would be refunded within two (2) weeks if I was not approved. Well it is June 16, 2022 and I am still waiting for my refund. I have contacted them via phone and emails - with very little replies. They stated they mailed the check - I never received it - so they would have to stop payment and reissue. This was at the end of May 2022. I am still waiting. Be very careful if you intend on applying and get denied - you may have to chase them for your refund.

Thank you for providing us with your valuable feedback. We’re disappointed to hear that your experience did not exceed expectations. We hope you give us another chance soon, so we can share an even more positive experience.
I have contacted the office twice now via phone and email trying to set up a tour with no response. A neighboring apartment complex got back to me immediately. If they can’t even answer me to schedule a tour, I can only imagine how horrible they are to their residents.

Moved in beginning of May into a newly renovated apartment. Worked with a leasing agent who was very nice and then she ended leaving right after we moved in. There was a maintenance guy who was new, and he was very nice and attentive to maintenance requests. Then he leaves due to being completely overworked. Then, our pending maintenance requests which were two months old by that point, were not being attended to so we had to do the work ourselves for one. Then with the other, it was like pulling teeth just to get a key copy made. Bottom line, it is incredibly difficult to get ahold of any of them in the leasing office or the operations guy, Scott. Then when you do get ahold of them, they make you feel crazy for trying to get simple maintenance requests done. And they have many excuses for lack of communication - there are no sorries, no 'this won't happen again'. You get excited from the bare minimum, when in fact it should not be put up with. Do better.

Been living new for over a year now, everything was easy and smooth to get in, love the new management and updates they have done to the property, definitely worth the money! Switching to a updated apartment because they are so nice and up to date!!! Never have had an issue here! I would recommend living here!

RENTERS BEWARE. New Ownership is awful. DO NOT move in here. The are building an alluring barbeque pit outside, in the middle of winter, while elderly residents have repairs that have been submitted and ignored. Do not be fooled! They are also hiking rent to force their residents either to move out or buck up and pay. The rent hikes are anywhere from $200-300 a month. Not a good business practice in general to hike rent without making internal upgrades, but during a pandemic is awful. Also, all of the trash and debris from their bbq pit construction has been dumped into the community dumpster. This dumpster overflows on a daily basis and already barely services the 3 buildings it's supposed to. They just changed their name to Andorra Point, so don't be fooled when they update it on listing sites. It's still Cathedral East. New management should be ashamed of themselves.

This is so great to hear, thank you for the kind words!!
Where to start. Walls are paper thin, if you like to listen to your neighbor next to you, below you and down the hall than this place is for you! The water isn't free as they say above, they'll charge you a monthly fee each month spread between all the tenants (usually averages 14 dollars a month) The management woman Colleen is an absolute liar, she'll deceive you in every way possible just to rent a unit. Get anything she says to you in writing. There's also smoking allowed in the apartments so if you live above or next to a smoker, get used to all of your furniture, clothes and just the air in general to be layered in the stuff 24/7. Bottom line is you will not be happy here unless you're deaf, blind and over the age of 80 There is much better options apartment wise in this neighborhood

My boyfriend and I lived at Cathedral East for a year and I'm happy as heck to be out of here! The residents for the most part were nice- but when I moved in the apartment was dirty! And so were the rugs, also there was an Oder that constantly lingered in the air. When I had a problem I asked them to not come by unless I was there and they never respected my wishes. So things never got completely fixed, or it wasn't done not right. When we moved out they charged us $65 for carpet (that was never cleaned when we moved in) and $160 for painting which is odd since they have to paint when a tenant leaves- I never realized it was in the lease- only if you are there for 3 years will they no charge you. Also you the main doors lock when you leave - we could never access the front door only the back, and if you had a guest you would have to go down to let a guess - the call button was for a land line - they said they could plug in one cell phone- but that wouldn't work if you lived with someone. Would I recommend it? No.
