Regarded as the Water Recreation Capital of the Midwest, Toledo rests on the banks of Lake Erie and the Maumee River in Northwest Ohio near the Ohio-Michigan border. While boating and fishing are popular pastimes in Toledo, there are also many other attractions Toledo residents enjoy.
Should you choose to rent in Toledo, you will have the opportunity to see the Mud Hens play ball at Fifth Third Field, eat Hungarian hotdogs at Tony Packo’s, take the kids on a scientific adventure at Imagination Station, marvel at the ornate architecture of the Rosary Cathedral, peruse the shops at Franklin Park Mall and Hensville, hike through one of Toledo’s many Metroparks, tour the Toledo Zoo, and catch a race at Toledo Speedway. You can also see the Toledo Symphony Orchestra at Peristyle Concert Hall, the Toledo Opera at the historic Valentine Theatre Downtown, and the expansive collection in the Toledo Museum of Art.

Property Ratings at Andover Apartments
Never in my life have I ever had to chase a leasing office for updates on an application status. My boyfriend and I applied and heard nothing back for about 2 weeks. We both called and left multiple messages but nobody ever followed up. When I finally got a hold of the receptionist, I was told they needed something else so we both took off work to get it to them in a timely fashion. The receptionist wasn't personable AT ALL and whoever was in the back office was very unprofessional. She wasn't aware that we could see her reflection from where we were standing and when the form that we dropped off was taken to her, she said it didn't have anything to do with her and put the form off to the side. We were then told someone would contact us but still never heard updates from them so I contacted the regional office. Again, no help whatsoever after being told she would handle it! My boyfriend also mentioned on his initial tour that the building smelled awful and how there was trash everywhere so they don't even have maintenance to keep up with cleaning. Some of their staff had the audacity to reach out via email about current openings yet nobody ever got back with us smh! Overall our experience was terrible and I wouldn't recommend staying here!
Building is falling apart. Good luck getting repairs done. Office staff lie through their teeth. Just heads up I loved there almost 7 years and it's a shame how far this place has declined. Summary, not worth your hard earned money AT ALL! Whole buildings stink horribly from smoke and filth m they don't even clean the buildings. EVER
These apartments are dirty, loud, and in a rougher area. The laundry room is absolutely disgusting, it looks like it has not been cleaning in a year. The common areas, such as hallways, are also very gross. In the actual apartment, the walls were painted very poorly, they literally painted on top of screws and nails instead of removing them. Lastly, on the Keygate block, you are right next to four sober homes, which will not be disclosed to you by any staff members of Andover. I’d advise you look other places before even giving this a chance!
This apartment complex is a below average place. I live on the first floor and my apartment has flooded 4 times and I am not even close to done with my 12 month lease. Maintenance is extremely behind on fixing things and the leasing department puts you off quite a bit whenever you need something. The laundry room is constantly dirty with the washers and dryers not properly doing their job. I know that the price makes this place seem okay but it truly is not worth it with all the problems that come with it.
Andover is an amazing place I give them 5 stars because I didn't have any noisy neighbors and there was nothing wrong with my room the whole time I stayed. I personally would recommend staying there.
I love Andover apartments. The apartments are newly remodeled and I absolutely love the layout of the apartment. It is very cozy and the perfect fit for me. The best part about Andover is that they have a pool. The pool is always kept sparkly clean and they have very nice chairs out there for us to use. Andover strives to take care of their residents as well by offering two courtyards with a picnic table and two grills to use. Aside from the property itself, Andover is very close to just about everything. It is about a 15 minute drive to Downtown Toledo, you are also down the street from the Stranahan, and they are also about five minutes away from Maumee if someone would want a smaller town that is full of life.
