Just moved within the last week. I was told my appliances were being renovated and the apartment would be ready at move in. Unfortunately, I'm still missing my washer/dryer. Customer Service staff is friendly however the maintenance issue is another story. At move in they were installing the appliances and fixtures but somehow left bathtub faucet leaking non-stop (running water not dripping). If you end up signing a lease be prepared for setbacks, this property was newly bought and they're still trying to figure out how to make a profit from this location without spending the necessary costs. Also, get your own wifi. Your building runs on the same network, meaning shared connection i.e. terrible quality and inconsistency. Before signing read this for your sake. -------------- With record high temps this summer a pool would be nice. Unfortunately the community lacks the sense of urgency. Should fixed by New Years.

This complex is genuinely horrible, they do not care about their tenants. I have had mold growing in my apartment from a leak in another apartment for almost a year, they sent someone out a couple months ago and they soaked up a little bit of the water and left. It got soaked with water again shortly after and the walls and doors are covered in mold, we have called and messaged and gone in person to speak with the complex multiple times but nothing has been done. Every time I go to the office I get shut down. The neighborhood is unsafe as well, someone was shot here last year, and I had someone move in right across from me and move out a week later because the key they were given didn’t lock their apartment and they were robbed. I’ve also had maintenance literally drill my lock open because they though my apartment was a different one. Didn’t knock or anything, I thought I was being robbed and it terrified me, when I explained this was my apartment that I pay for the guy just said oh well they told me the wrong one, and left. Please find literally anywhere else to live. You’ll regret moving here.

The staff tries, but the turnover rate is so high that before you build a relationship with them they're gone. and rightly so, the owners dont care about the upkeep of this place and they usually get the brunt of the complaints. Management has changed 6 times since ive been here, and they just got bought out in Jan 2022. So all the accumulated points to improving my apartment went POOF! They took away valet trash, you're on your own there. People got frustrated so theres literally dupsters and trash everywhere lol. We dont have a system anymore so we're paying with checks and money orders like we're in the 1990s. The people here love to throw trash everywhere and the staff never picks it up, it literally looks like a landfill just outside my balcony. Even after all of the tickets I have put in no one has come out to pick it up. Yes, it has attracted rodents. even a possum in broad daylight. I've had a leaky roof for 2 years. They keep patching the ceiling, but never fixing the actual roof. My heat is actually broken right now, but since we're between management I dont know when they will actually be getting it fixed, so im in the livingroom using my oven for heat.... Dont even get me started on the waterbugs and dog poop in the summer time. Im reporting them to the BBB. Just dont move here. I regret it still.

Andover Woods Apartments Was approved and given keys to my apartment on may 11. No one did the walk thru with me. Upon entering the apartment it was over 85 degrees inside. The garbage disposal didn’t work, the flooring in the bathroom was peeling off the floor, was missing my washer and dryer, the stove didn’t work, the fridge doesn’t work, there are mutiple wasp nest around the front door and on the patio. The ceiling fan is loose and there are parts hanging off if it. I contacted the office the following day in regards to them giving me an apartment that was not move in ready. I got told that things will get fixed. It is now the 22nd of may and nothing has been done to the apartment. The a/c still doesn’t work, the floor is still peeling, only thing they fixed was the garbage disposal. Finally was able to talk to the property manager and her attitude towards me was so nasty! She basically told me since I didn’t pay for an “upgraded” unit they weren’t going to fix the floor in the bathroom. Even with it peeling and i explained to her that I’ve tripped twice on the floor all while being eight months pregnant. And with the moisture from the shower it’s a breeding ground for mold. She told me that it wasn’t going to get fixed because that’s something that maintenance don’t work on. Explained to her that it’s been over a week and my a/c unit still isn’t working and that I have three small children in the apartment with it being over 85 degrees. She said it’s my fault the ac unit doesn’t work….explained to her it was like that when I was given my keys even explained to her that ive sent several emails and have been calling constantly but no one ever picks up in the office. This is going on week two and the repairs have not been addressed and my ac unit is still not working. They basically took my money and gave me an apartment that was not move in ready and now they are refusing to fix anything.

They don't respond nor do they care that the apartment they rented me in unsafe and falling apart literally. All I receive is excuses and nothing is actually being done to fix either the problem or my concerns. The pics look inviting but you will not fill that way once you sign the lease. This is the worst experience I have had with a property.

Do not rent at this property. Been here for 4yrs and Managers do not care about residents they do not return calls or emails. Maintenance do not fix anything and mark orders complete without ever coming to your apartment. I have sent numerous request pictures and emails called corporate and no response.worse apartment complex in charlotte.You can live better at different location than the price you pay here.

I applied after speaking with the leasing agent about a specific floorplan. Nearly a week later, I was told I was approved, but on a different floorplan. The application even asks which plan you're applying for. The agent became argumentative, insisting that she was right. I asked for a refund of the application fee, she said they would only refund the admin fee. I asked how to contact they corporate office, she gave me the email of the Andover Woods office. Read the reviews, especially the lower rated ones, and you'll see a theme - lack of communication, poor customer service. I'm certain they all refer to one particular leasing agent. I'm glad I've got other options, because Andover Woods seems like a big mistake.

I went online to Andover Woods apartments website, and scheduled a tour to view one of their one bedroom apartments, after reviewing the virtual tour on the website. I arrived at my appointment time and was waiting outside in the heat for 20-30 mins before anyone from the staff returned, for them to ask if I scheduled a tour online and then tell me they didn’t have any apartments to show. I wish someone would have contacted and or let me know before I took that 30 min drive and waisted my gas, just to get sorry about that response, but everything happens for a reason God has something better for me. The office has zero communication skills. The woman who sits at the door is less than helpful and rude. She also tries to get you out of the door before even making an attempt to solve a problem. My AC has been out since May 7th 2021, it is currently June 11, 2021 and the only thing they can tell me is to wait. They don't answer emails and they dont return voicemails. I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy. Maybe the property manager will see this and feel the need to respond since all other methods of communication are uselss.

I’ve lived here for just over a month and my ac has gone out, a light fixture was smoking so badly I thought it was gonna catch fire (think goodness I was home), and my hot water has been out for just over a week at this point. Minor work orders have also been submitted which have been “fixed” but I’ve just learned to deal with them. They only have a few maintenance guys for an old property of almost 400 units. That’s not enough. They don’t do any preventative maintenance so they’re continuously swamped. The two techs I’ve had were nice, however, with my water heater issue I’ve had zero communication and have so far visited the office 3 times. Apparently I’m supposed to get a new one today but there was no notice given to me so I’m not sure if that’s true. The office is a whole other story. The lady is horrible. She’s rude, dismissive & entitled. She yells MASK MASK MASK without even wearing one herself. She’s constantly complaining and EVERYONE talks about how bad her attitude is. I’m at the dog park now and a maintenance guy parks his go cart beside the gate, tells me he was talking to me earlier when I didn’t acknowledge him (he was walking out of a breezeway and I had my dogs in the middle of the parking lot BC there’s NO sidewalks) so I said okay my bad. What’s up? Then he was just mumbling stupid stuff then after I didn’t reply he said oh you said you want my number? I said no. He said oh yeah you’re definitely no Morning person. Normally I’ll at least get a laugh out of that. I again didn’t say anything so he sat there for 5 minutes doing nothing before he rode off. Don’t you have some work to do bucko? Why do you think I wanna talk to you when I can’t even shower at my apartment? (I’ve had to get a planet fitness membership to shower) Leave me alone!! This place is horrible unless you move into a perfectly maintained apartment (which I’m sure you won’t) and don’t need anything from the office. THERES A REASON THEYRE GIVING AWAY TWO HALF MONTHS TO 2 FULL MONTHS OF RENT AWAY!

Communication by staff is poor. My move-in date has changed multiple times due to mixing up the floor plan I applied for. I’ve been given a move-in date for the correct floor plan, however no response when I call (as always), no call backs from my voicemails, and no welcome letter. Not sure if staff is overwhelmed, but be prepared for issues with following up with your application (even if you’re approved).

I waited 2 weeks to move into a unit that was not ready. My the stove was missing the bake element and racks and refrigerator had no drawers. I spoke directly with the manager after popping into the office for a whole week to have this addressed. Here I am 1 month later and these issues have been done. I even emailed the regional manager and was not even given the courtesy of a response. Though I LOVE my floor plan and space, I encourage others to beware make sure EVERYTHING is in order before you move in.

I’ve been in Andover Woods roughly about 3 months now. When I first moved in the agent Jennifer was wonderful. She helped in every way possible when I thought I was going to pull my hair out lol. Like any other apartment complex you have a few bad apples but what complex doesn’t. I love my apartment and even though I’m a few months in, I can tell I will be renewing my lease when the time comes.

Where do I began.. I've been here for over 7 months and I regret moving here. The staff is terrible! I've had some many maintenance issues since I've moved here; its ridiculou!. Not even 30 days in my AC stopped working. The emergency line is pointless if the office is closed. They came to fixed it 2 days later and its been leaking every since. I had to clean my own carpet when I moved in it was dirty. Only one window in my bedroom opens up. My tub clogged up and they never came. I waited for them and the standing water just sat in there; fixed it myself. The last thing was my sink. I created a ticket on a wednesday night. I called the office they hadnt even processed the ticket. My garbage disposal is cracked (its still cracked). The same water from wednesday night sat clogged until 5pm the next day only bc I saw a maintenance working in the parking lot. If I wasnt paying my rent I wouldnt even complain but they get there money and I would like to have a functioning apartment. If it wasnt so expensive I would break my lease and move.

This is the first place that I have ever lived in NC and I must say I love here Andrea has been the best when I cam to any issue that I have had she is always kind and fast to resolve any issue my family or I have.

This place could be amazing under the right property management, Office ladies is Amazing Andrea, and Jennifer. Will do anything in their power to make you a satisfied tenant. Gym not finish yet and we pay for valet trash which don't get picked up this is included in our rent which the company should refund us. I love my apartment and this side of town. It is the Property owners that sucks it don't change soon I am going to get my lawyers involved. Good tenants don't deserve below average treatment. I love Jenny and Andrea!!!!!

Property looks nice from afar. Renovated apartments are nice looking. Moved from a classic apartment to a renovated one because of a miscommunication. They moved me into a renovated apartment with bed bugs. They do the bed bug treatment on friday(May, 17th) come back Sunday to waterbugs/roaches in my apartment. I purchased home defense, sprayed it everywhere...still have bugs in my apartment. Everyday I kill something. And my apartment is super clean, seriously. I wouldn’t do this unless it was. At this point I believe the building is infested. The actual apartment buildings where the steps are is disgusting. So if you’d like to sleep with little creatures then apply here :)

This was my top choice apartment and it was everything I’ve wanted ! This was me and my boyfriend first apartment and lesie and Jennifer made the process so easy and pleasant I couldn’t have asked for better leasing agents . They were so sweet and I would surely recommend ANYONE for Andover woods . I’m proud to call this wonderful neighborhood home ??

I have lived in many apartment complexes in Charlotte and this is by far the best one. The staff here is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and I love feeling part of this community. The new management company really seems to care about making this the best place for us residents to live at. They are constantly upgrading the property and are talking about cool new amenities! I love living here because I truly feel that the ownership group really does care about us and our needs. Thank you for giving me and my family an amazing apartment to live at and I hope to never have to move again!!!!

New Ownership and Management took over recently and it is simply amazing. They actually CARE. The manager Jenny is incredible and makes sure to take care of everyone so well. Maintenance is the best. They take care of everything very fast and they actually FIX the problem! I hear new ownership has plans for many improvements and that they actually make the improvements unlike other owners! If you are looking to move this is the PLACE! GREAT Location and amazing grounds! Amazing Floor Plans! #andoverwoods #bestplacetolive
