Property Ratings at Andrews Place Apartments
The grounds are very well maintained. The back set of homes are quiet and have plenty of parking. I live in the back so I cant speak for the front. My apartment is nice and I've had no issues. The office staff that I have dealt with are very friendly.
This place USE TOO be a great place to live, until they switched management. New management is horrible. They don’t keep up on bug spraying anymore, the manager lets her friends and family get away with anything, but yet everyone else have to abide by the rules. People are extremely loud bumping music from sun up to sun down. Management does nothing. If your property is vandalized they won’t do nothing about it. The manager feels as though she can talk to you any kind of way when you come to her concerning repairs. They have a emergency Maintence number for weekends, but he never picks up. People loiter outside doorways and sit on steps, with lawn chairs as if its there personal home, when everyone’s unit has a balcony. I believe that things could turn around if they hired better management but until then... DOWN HILL this place goes.
Visited family member for dinner. Parking was nonexistent. People playing basketball in the street broke my driver side mirror. The same group of people partying on the stairs in between floors for about 2 hours. I would never live there seems like a brothel of low moral people, no consideration residents
Place looks great on the outside BUT looks are deceiving. If management would spend as much time on tenant selection and implementing the rules of the tenant policy lease it wouldnt be that bad of a place to live. That is not the case though. Management implementation of the rules are selective. When you have a complaint or need some maintenance they are rude and act like you are bothersome. Another issue is NOISE. It seems they only allow people in with LOUD STEREOS. There is no peace and quiet. Its party central. There is a noise policy but they do nothing about it. The policy itself is a joke anyhow 6am to 10pm you can make as much noise as you want. Theres a maintenance guy with tattoos who drives a red Kia that blasts his music just sitting in the parking lot night or day shaking the walls and windows. If an employee is allowed to break the rules do you honestly think they will make a tenant follow. Another issue is people HANGING out and partying in the hallways and staircases. They bring couches and chairs in hallways sit on the stairs cussing yelling and drinking alcohol. Ive called the police MANY times. Management does nothing still. All and all if you like a nice front lawn with good trimmings but have loud rowdy tenants with lazy management this is the place for you
Went here to visit a relative yesterday, OMG. Its like the wild west ANYTHING goes. First of all I could not find ANY parking. I had to push my way up the stairs through people that didn't speak English or the pretentended not to speak English drinking alcohol and listening to music on portable boom box. The loud music went on FOR hours well into the night. The breezeways were stained black and smelled like urine. No way to contact the office I tried I guess after hours they don't care. When I was leaving there where some people leaning on the trunk of my car with beer cans on the hood. I WILL NEVER GO BACK
DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE CUT GRASS AND GROUNDS KEEPING Terrible place; I couldn't wait to move. If you want to live in the ghetto and pay top dollar for it ANDREWS PLACE is the place to be #1 Management takes care of their own. "Do as we say not as we do" example; There are rules that all tenants have to follow ie loitering, balcony rules, music ordinance etc but if you are NOT in the (click) you have to abide by those rules. #2 trash EVERYWHERE, in the breezeways, on the grounds #3 NO PARKING SPACEs ever. There used to be parking enforcement but not anymore. Good luck parking in front of your building #4 PARTY CENTRAL, drinking in the breezeways, loitering on the stairs, LOUD MUSIC all day all night, paper thin walls. You hear every word and get ZERO privacy and/or rest. When you complain to management about LOUD music and or partying they differ it to law enforcement. They actually said its NOT OUR PROBLEM its a police matter. There is NO SCREENING or vetting of tenants. Open doors to anyone. This used to be a decent place to live with hard working respectable tenants. That's not the case anymore This is a review from a single mom
We are not wealthy people, so the housing choices for my family and I are " slim pickins' ". I've read the reviews of others on this sight and do realize that the experience of others vary depending on other circumstances and factors in their lives. However, what I am about to tell you is not an "opinion", this is what my family and I wake up to and have experienced everyday. On our walls, you can see where someone began to paint but did not finish. When we first moved in the refrigerator was missing some parts; those parts never came until the first years lease was about to expire(that's not an exaggeration). The carpet throughout the apartment is substandard. Upon inspection, it was told that this carpet was NEW when we moved in, implying that "we" ruined it. The carpet needs to be removed and replaced. It is substandard and the person(s) who laid the carpet did a very poor job( seams are exposed and wearing out/ there is a lump in one of the bedrooms where it seems the padding was placed poorly and they just carpeted over it and the whole house needs re-stretched. Outside has a lot to do with the neighbors more-so, you can tell how people live by how they treat their surroundings and environment. Residence leave trash in the middle of the parking lot, walk their pets and let them relieve themselves and not pickup or clean-up after them. Once I had to call them police because of drug use in around the outside stairs of the unit and they where very bold with it. They have a dumpster and at times trash is everywhere because of the way some people live(use your imagination). You want to say that people are basically good. We all know that to not be true. A better way to say it is no one is at anyone's throat, yet. So, it goes as this, Put up with some of the dis-function and attitude of indifference or move. I wish I was able to move, but finding a place in PC is easier said than done.
A lot of the neighbors where I live is so rude. I first moved in and they called the police say I was been to loud when I was just trying to get everything moved in. The parking is crazy you don't never have a spot to park when you return home. Most of the time end up parking in front of someone else building which sucks when you have kids to get in the house.
For the money compared to everywhere else around he I guess it not that bad of a place but the maintenance is very slow could be week or months before something is fixed, only able to get cable from one company unless you get a dish, pretty quite most nights although during summer months there are a lot of kids out and about,
I just moved into my new apartment and I couldn't be more excited. The ladies in the leasing office, especially Kim, worked so hard to get me a great place, keep me updated on my position on the waiting list for almost 3 months, and put up with me calling once every week. I really appreciate them and I can't wait to start my new adventure here.
The leasing office is friendly, accessible, and responsive. The rules are fair, the apartments are comfortable. I personally have a 1 bedroom with my wife. It's income based which is great because not all jobs in this area pay great. We stay in the back half, which does have access to coin laundry and a pool. However the only place to dump your trash is out front. I don't really have any complaints other than 1 work order to fix closet doors was never completed. Everything else was completed quickly.
We've been renting here at Andrews Place, the best qualities start with your managers, every time we had a Maintanece issue, it was result the next day, our neighbors are great, we have a great curfew which is no loud noises after 10:00 pm and nobody is allowed to hang out in the hallways, overall great place to live.
