Nothing ever got fixed here. When I moved in, my balcony railing was coming off the side of the building, reported it immediately, it never got fixed. Nor did anything else. Laundry facilities are lackluster. Emails about things like paving are incredibly passive aggressive. Visitor parking costs a small fortune (cost me $30 to park a friend overnight). For a cherry on top, someone attempted to steal my car here too. Look elsewhere, I assure you that you can do better.

I wouldn’t recommend moving here. If you’re looking, continue your search way beyond these people. They have very unprofessional staff and the property manager is no better, she’s rude and disrespectful they are all in cahoots with each other. They moved me into an apartment that WAS not ready and when mentioning the problems that was going on they act as if I was being a problem because nothing was done correctly. They gave me a move in date and when it was time to pick up my keys they stated “they couldn’t find them” how do you set a date and loose keys smh not to mention The AC was out in the unit so it was hot as hell in the apartment I’ve mentioned it two days straight, there was a broken window in the master bedroom and the refrigerator was broke as well. How do y’all move somebody into an apartment without inspecting it first. I dropped the keys off (that they mysteriously found) to the office and just wanted my money back like I’ve NEVER experienced anything like this before and it was very frustrating to deal with, they showed no concern about anything at all! So save your time and look somewhere else!
I’ve been living here since 2018 and these pass two years have been horrible the maintenance and office staff are horrible! All people do I hang in the hallways ! And these apartments are very mice infested patching holes doesn’t help anything ! I’ve had mold on my walls all they do is come in and paint over it ! Laundry rooms are dirty because it’s a hang out spot and for people to smoke !! It’s horrible and a mess don’t move around here
I have lived here for 2 years and have experienced theft out of my apartment by service staff and mold that has left me with chronic infections. I have requested to be able to move apartments and have received no assistance. The staff is unresponsive and they have misled me many times thinking they would help me.
I lived here for 2 years, the first 6 months were ok. Every summer my air went out and was out for 2-3 days each time. There’s always people hanging in the hallways smoking and leaving trash around. Which no one wants to live like that and rental office never fixed the problem. Had a REALLY bad mice problem, called plenty of times about it and maintenance/exterminator NEVER came. I ended up patching holes up myself and mice still came. Trash people were not consistent for over a month so trash was piled up in the parking lot. The grounds of the property used to be well kept now they only clean hallways once a week.

I been here for two years and the property had gone down. Police is always in the complex. Mice is in all of the apartments. They are always getting new staff. They never put in request for your apartment . They are very unprofessional. The trash ppl stop coming for a month.then got a new property manger.

I've been here for 13 years at first I can say was the best moved I've made. But when they changed management and maintenance just terrible, they don't answer the phone, no 24 hour maintenance service, mice infested, and they always Have a water leak from somewhere rather in your unit or outside your unit and no notice of water being shut off. Anyone can park on lot so you have to park away from your building. I'm OUT just going downhill

I would never refer anyone to reside in these apartment complexes. As of March 2, 2018, over 300 residents were to be evacuated, as the building is deemed unsafe to live in. The DMV has been experiencing heavy winds and several apartment buildings has collapsed. I believe that the buildings infrastructure is very poorly put together. I figured it was, especially since you can really hear every foot step of your upstairs neighbor- very loudly. It is so inconvenient, especially when your family is no where near you. Before allowing residents to rent these buildings, the company should have made sure that the buildings were structured well. Lots of people have been complaining about cracks and holes in the walls of their apartment, that has been there since they moved in. This has been a discussion at a briefing, as of 3/3/2018. We have jobs, school, and other financial obligations, and now we have to find living arrangements, which isn't easy. I cannot stress enough how frustrating this situation is.

I noticed that the paint was coming up in the tub as I was showering one night, I called left a message, and never got a response from maintenance or the rental office. A day or two later I noticed that when I take a shower that the water was taking longer than usual to go down the drain. I called the rental office/maintenance immediately so it wouldn’t be a ongoing problem being as this is the only shower I have. The first day, I called no answer left a voicemail. Day two I called left a voicemail. No call backs or nothing. I had to personally go up to the rental office to tell them again about the problems I was having in my bathroom. When I got there the young lady told me “ they were busy “ and that she would be calling to get someone out as soon as possible. The time was 5:30PM, it is now 7:30PM. I have yet to receive a phone call regarding this issue. This is very unprofessional and inconsiderate! Now, I have to go out buy draino and snake my own tub out because of the lack of irresponsibility from Andrews Ridge apartments maintenance! This is such an inconvenience.

When a contractor replaced my base boards and did not return my furniture to its proper place the manager Hydie responded quickly and sent over the maintenance team and their manager Jason came and moved my furniture and even reassembled my bed fr me when the headboard fell off. and they also put brought booties because i have a 3 month old son. thanks guys!!!

From the beginning to end I've loved my stay at Andrew's Ridge. Front Office Jessica is amazing!!! This line of work is not just a job for her but the start of her career as a real estate agent, and it shows. From day one, up until the last day she's been helpful, understanding, and far from lazy. Ms. Joy and Shakira nice and helpful as well-- sometimes hard to reach them but once you do, they will help if they can. Nate from the maintence team was very kind when serving my home. In fact, I one day placed a maintenance order around 11am/12noon, Nate was at my home by 2pm to fix my issue--OUTSTANDING. I've never seen a mouse nor rat nor roach in my home. Of course a common outside bug here and there.. I wanna say 3 or 4 out of the whole year. My building (3828) was quiet up until my last 2 months.. still not very loud but some noisy tenants have moved in. There is security at night and day at times. I felt safe within my home at all times. The pool is a nice size and rarely packed. The pool guy sometimes has an attitude but whatever lol I pay him no mind. All in all this is a wonderful spot!! I had a 2 br 2 bath. I am moving out of state but if I am ever to return, I would absolutely come right on back. Thank you all for the amazing service. Especially Jessica once again!! Apartments look nothing like the photos and the model apartment. Water heater is located in the bedroom closet so when it leaked it molded my belongings. Maintenance request were ignored. Had neighbors follow me to my car in the middle of the night. Could hear the neighbor above me beating their kids, fighting and throwing parties day in day out but property management did not thing about it even after numerous complaints were filed. Even with parking passes you still will not find a spot. Any review that says they love this apartment are fabricated, do not believe them.
I been at Andrews Ridge for 2 years. The property is beautiful. My favorite amenity is the Pool and my balcony is view is to die for. The management and maintenance team are very professional and value all their residence which is why I will continue to renew my lease each year.
Pros: Great location, minutes from subway/ beltway/ suitland pkwy. Beautiful renovated units w/ newer appliances, modern look, washer/dryer combo. Spacious w/great closets. Cons: Thin creaky floors. Had rodents- issue was quickly resolved. Fitness center only open during business hours. Cannot print in business center. No community room for the residents.
I looooooooove my apartment I just wish I could afford to stay living there.
