Most people are familiar with Augusta as the site of the Masters Golf Tournament, which effectively takes over the city every April. While golf is certainly an integral thread in the community’s identity, there’s quite a bit more to the story. As Georgia’s second-largest city, Augusta combines Old-South elegance with modern sophistication, often on the same block. Downtown and its surrounding neighborhoods are full of historic homes and buildings, with a dining and nightlife scene that may surprise you with its diverse offerings.
The local economy employs folks in a wide range of major fields, from the well-established medical and higher education communities to the growing tech sector and military population stationed at nearby Fort Gordon. And while golf is certainly a popular pastime, Augusta’s recreational options extend far beyond the links: parks and nature preserves abound, and minor league baseball games at Olmstead Lake Stadium draw big crowds.

Property Ratings at Annaberg Apartments
I lived here for one full year. Our A/C went out a few times, but maintenance promptly fixed it. The places are a little older, so things may go out. The maintenance and leasing staff are very professional and quick to help you. The apartments aren't super luxurious, but a great value. Hated to have to move. The one I lived in had recently gotten new kitchen appliances, flooring, and countertops. Also, these apartments back up next to a really safe neighborhood which I ran and walked through even at night sometimes.
I am a resident here and have been for close to a year now. Worst place to live ever. We have had EXCESSIVE problems with our unit. We have had leaks (the same one that took 3 accidents for management to finally fix), we have had our air conditioning break (again countless calls to management which resulted in temporary fixes which lasted 1 or 2 weeks before it was broken again, finally fixed it after I threatened to take them to court), we have had sketchy people sit outside of our apartment and watch the unit, we discovered mold in the unit (management refused to acknowledge it until I involved the city health inspector). These are just a few of the issues. On top of this, management is ALWAYS rude. I have had 1 positive experience with the manager Leah. Other than that forget it. One time when the air conditioning was broken I was told to read a manual.... I am well aware of how AC works. Problems go unattended for weeks. On top of all of this, management had the nerve to complain about us TO ANOTHER TENANT. Talk about unprofessional. I had a friend who lived in another ATC property and had no problems. But this one is by far the worst property and management has definitely taken a huge step down. This has been the worst place I have ever lived and I will never rent with ATC Development again. It would be wise for you to do the same.

We are very sorry to hear that you have had an unhappy experience at Annaberg. We worked very hard to renovate the entire community inside and out to make it clean, new and modern while preserving some of its original charm. Because your unit was the very first unit on the property that was renovated, there were problems that didn’t show themselves immediately. We appreciate that you brought these issues to light and we will use it as a tool to grow and to provide better service in the future.
TL;DR: It's a safe, clean, well maintained apartment in a convenient location for a reasonable price, won't screw you on the deposit. I'm in the military and I've had to move frequently. Annaberg Apartments is about twenty minutes from Fort Gordon with moderate traffic and ten minutes from downtown. There are three grocery stores within two miles of the apartments and tons of restaurants. The complex is conveniently close to the interstate, but since it's on a neighborhood road, I have never had an issue with traffic noise. Kayla was extremely helpful getting me moved in. I showed up to Fort Gordon and had an apartment ready (recently rennovated) within five days. The whole complex has gotten a major facelift and the area is safe. ATC's user webpage was extremely convenient; they e-mailed me reminders when rent was coming due and you can pay right through the website. I have nothing but good things to say about Annaberg. They are extremely easy to work with, and when I had to PCS, they made it easy and did not try to screw me out of my deposit.

The information given was very detailed and accurate. My apartment was spotless when I moved in. Newly renovated! Kayla, the onsite agent was extremely nice and helpful. The main office leasing agent Laticia was great as well. I didn't have to miss work or wait until the weekend to do anything. I did everything online, including signing my lease paperwork. Payments I made over the phone and immediately received email confirmation of receipt. ATC development is awesome! They even worked with me on paying my deposit and held the apartment 2 days longer since I kept in touch with them.

The rooms are spacious as well as the closets and bathrooms. I love that the guest room has 2 separate closets. Perfect for my two boys who share a room to have their own sides of the room and their own closets. I love the space and the price. EVERYTHING is awesome!
