Property Ratings at Anthem Clearwater
Amber has great customer service and is always on point thank you Amber and staff.I have consistently experienced the best residential support service. The staff are friendly and helpful… Anytime I have submitted a maintenance request I have received a prompt response. Whether it was changing light bulbs, replacing/removing furniture, or servicing the plumbing and electricity, maintence quickly and thoroughly ensured that I have an optimal living environment. I intend to continue renting from Anthem for the remainder of my years in clearwater and I strongly recommend their properties to all of the incoming graduate students looking for housing. In some ways, your property management company can make or break your living experience and with anthem it’s all in the service. I couldn’t be happier!

We are incredibly thrilled to know that our community has earned such sincere loyalty from you! Thank you for sharing how much you value our stellar service and all the ways that our maintenance team has cared for your needs. We will be sure to pass along your compliments to Amber and everyone else who has made such a good impression on you. Thank you.
Lived in the complex for about 4-5 months and recently completed the early termination process. Before moving into the unit our unit was changed 4 times making us having to sign the lease 4 times. So not the best starting point. We were supposed to be on the first floor, ended up in a second floor without being told. We walked in and noticed a distinct smell and saw obvious signs of water damage (multiple patched sights on ceiling, water marks on walls, and cracked paint) with it all marked on move in check list. About a month in we had a major roof leak (that was in all the same spots with water damage). There was water coming out of an electrical outlet. The office took ~2-3 days to even come to the apartment. Leak occurred multiple times coupled with significant humidity in the environment as the windows were not sealed. We got a dehumidifier at our own cost with significant improvements. The leasing office itself was okay but the corporate office was AWFUL and made the process terminating the lease and requesting to have a livable apartment with a functioning roof very difficult. We highly suggest living in other complexes.
I like the fact that things get fixed same day and it's a quiet chill neighborhood for me and my girl
Hands down the WORST place I have ever lived. So many leaking issues that maintenance took forever to fix and they left their big equipment in the apartment for weeks. Apartments are so noisy and not sound proof, so many cockroaches and my apartment constantly smelled like cigarettes and marijuana, which may not bother you if you smoke but if you don’t it is very bothersome!! All the management did was email the residents, nothing will ever change here. I’ve lived a lot of places and HATED this place! Don’t move here!! They were terrible all the way till move out. We asked multiple times about what needed done for move out and the answers we received were not accurate AT ALL, leaving us with enormous fees to pay… all because they didn’t tell us when we asked!! I can’t stress enough, don’t move here if you enjoy a quiet, clean apartment that the doors won’t fall off every time you open or close the closets. Run!!!!
This complex is all about taking your money . They charge you to park at your own residence. Have about 6 visitor parking spaces so if you have guest they will have no where to park or they will be towed at the owners expense . They barley have enough parking for the residents. Things around the apartment complex aren’t fixed but they will find ways to make you pay for things .I wouldn’t recommend this place if it was the last place on earth to stay . If it wasn’t so hard to find a place this lease would be broken today . Don’t pay attention to the fake reviews of this being a good place . It’s a roach infested hell whole .
I lived here for ten months. In that time I've had to wait three weeks to maintenance, deal with harassment from the office about late payments only to have them apologize when I showed them, in person (and missing work to do this!) receipts from my bank showing they cashed my checks, AND they took TWO WHOLE MONTHS just to tarp over a HOLE IN MY CEILING that let in spiders and a DEAD BIRD and gave me an unobstructed view of the outside through the holes in the ROOFING - which by the way, were never fixed. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS, changing their name to anthem clearwater isn't going to hide how terrible they are.
The staff here is great. Paul especially is so sweet and helpful and makes sure to keep the property clean and maintained.
I have been here 2 months already and the service here excellent.Every time I have any problem the maintenance guys come fast and solve the problem…the customer service at the home office are excellent

Just signed lease for 2nd year with Woodland Key. *The staff has always been very professional and the 2-3 times I've needed maintenance they quickly resolved the issue in a timely manner. *I love that I can't hear the other tenets in surrounding apts. *It's also very easy to get into and out of the apartment complex traffic wise and location to grocery, restaurants and US 19 are close by.
We have been in our unit for about 2 years, we've always had ants and roaches. We are very clean, and they spray each month but they still keep coming, especially ants! Our shower is so gross, no matter how much we clean it. The paint is peeled off in cracks. They come and paint over it and paint drips everywhere, and it last for a couple months and then its chipped and a mess again. They do cheap , quick easy fixes. They want high end prices for their units, but do low end fixes. Office staff is nice, until you leave your trash bag on your porch for 5 mins while you finish cleaning, to take it out. Then they knock on your door or email you with an attitude, yelling at you and telling you that you cant have your trash there for even 5 minutes and they are going to fine you! I clean , set my trash out, mopping my floor is my last step and then I run my trash down while my floor dries!I guess that's a sin! But people can have chairs and plants on their porch for all weekend while office staff is off!just dont move in if you can help it. Looks good from afar but I promise you'll regret it after of you do!
The management and staff at Woodland Key are great. Instead of directing us to a website in order to fill out an application like most places, they made us feel welcomed. The units are nice and very well maintained. I would definitely recommend Woodland Key to anyone looking for a good place to stay. I look forward to making them my next “forever home.”
My first impression was how unprofessional the office staff was when they actually snickered in front of me for not pronouncing Coquina Key correctly. I should have gone with my gut and not leased here but having moved from out of state, I was tired of living in an AirBnB. Since moving here, I have been very disturbed by the lack of management actually working to clean up this complex. Countless emails from me and my neighbors go ignored about issues here. None of the management lives on property therefore they neither know nor care about the unattended youth that throw trash everywhere, kick soccer balls repeatedly against our walls and windows, or refuse to move when we are trying to back out of parking spaces. There's so much trash on the ground it looks like the dumpster vomited on the grass. My neighbor shaves his hair off and then dumps it in the grass outside his door so giant clumps of hair blows all over the place. There's been plastic bags of dog poop that have been on the ground for weeks and yet never get picked up by maintenance staff. That's probably because they park their golf carts behind the buildings and play on their phones for huge chunks of time. And forget about airing out your apartment by opening the windows. They are so old and not square so you open it, good luck closing it. Mine got stuck open Saturday and I couldn't close the window. I called the office and was told maintenance didn't work Saturday and it wasn't a security issue so it had to wait till Monday to be fixed. My first floor window was open more than a foot, but apparently that wasn't an emergency! Plus it was supposed to rain all that night and the next. No big deal. Oh, same thing happened to my neighbor. Guess what - her apartment was broken into on Thanksgiving Day because she couldn't get her window closed and the homeless man crawled in her window. And the responding officer told her we lived in a terrible area and should move because there are a number of homeless camps just a block or two away. Great! Oh and there are no security lights on the first floor of apartments. So if you or your neighbor don't have your porch light on, you will walk into complete darkness which isn't ideal since the area is a bit sketchy. I wish I could attach pictures as I have documented it all. Look elsewhere.
I have just renewed my third lease a woodland key and to be honest I couldn’t ask for a better place to live. From the leasing staff to the maintenance men everyone is amazing. I would tell anyone looking for a apartment to definitely stop by and consist woodland key.
I have lived in these apartments for 5 years. In that time I've had several (10+) issues with the air conditioner. Maintenance does not always respond immediately, and you can imagine the discomfort experienced here in Florida. The last time was on the weekend, and I've been told it is not considered an emergency and will have to wait until Monday when maintenance returns. Meanwhile, we can't sleep or stay during the day because of the temperature. This will be my final year here. Too bad really.
I just moved in recently and I love it here so far! The apartments are beautiful, spacious and have been updated. Im so happy to have a washer and dryer, as well as water and cable included in the rent. The girls at the front are amazing as well as the maintenance guys. Everyones so nice and friendly here. I am happy I picked here to live!
This is the worst apartment complex I been calling bout coming to spray in my apartment and they still haven’t but they want there rent on time.

Pest Control is offered weekly, free of charge. Please contact the office and we will be happy to have them visit your home within the wee. Best Regards, Woodland Key Management
This place is GREAT! I recently resigned my lease with Woodland and have really enjoyed living here. Maintenance has always been prompt to any issues, the leasing agents have been helpful with all my random questions, and they really care about keeping the landscaping nice. 10/10 recommend living here

Thank you for the feedback. We strive to make Woodland Key Apartments a wonderful place to call home! Best Regards, Woodland Key Management
its funny how they had all of our documentation for 3-4 days but waited until we pay $150 to tell us we are not approved..... If you are moving from a different state and you dont have a job in the area yet, savings of $14,000 are not enough to move in to that place....
Been here 2 months and enjoy it. Pool and weight room are really nice with a variety of exercise equipment. Apartment is great as well. Very friendly staff in Kayla and Danielle. Definitely a place to come see for yourself.
Great place to live. I have been there 8 years and the staff are very courteous and quick to help. The grounds and pool area are always clean. Love the new fitness center.
Only been here a month and hate it. Ceilings were “fixed” in the crappiest way possible from water damage, gaps between trimming and floor, old clothes from previous tenant shoved behind washer and dryer, bath tubs NEVER look clean because they are so old and have been “resealed” by ammatures, always smells weird no matter how much we clean, multiple bugs, have had 3 things break already and people always driving by with music blasting at night. If they had a cleaner come after the previous tenant it was not up to move in standards. Carpets are not replaced before move in. Oh and the garbage trucks come to get the dumpsters right outside your window at 5:30 am on Saturday.
The new management has gone way above and beyond to make this a Community one you will love to call home! So many new renovations, beautiful landscaping, resort like pools, dog parks just to name a few! Danielle and her staff are on top of things, whenever there is a maintenance request, it is responded to quickly, and resolved with satisfaction plus! Really love it here!
I looked at these for my X husband & I believe I'm taking one today 10/13/2018. Good renovations. Unessia for Alphonso
This is horrible never again this palace and community is in shambles the management runs this place backwards They are now towing tenants cars who have been living here very unprofessional have been living here for a year and my car has been towed 4 times and it’s getting old, they are towing cars because they do not have enough parking for everybody living here what a deal! we are paying for amenities in our rent that are not and have not been ready to use at all. Thousands of dollars of packages stole off my porch, my house has been stolen out of 3 times with REAL valuables taken what a joke! Rent always paid lesson learned Never again.I have to say the maintenance did their job whenever I needed them
I've lived here 13 years total, the last 2 in a renovated ground unit. I have health issues that began to get worse over time without explanation. On 7/25 I notified management via a very detailed email with pictures of the damage occurring in my kitchen. Due to the smell in the air inside my unit I stated "there may be a leak and MOLD issue". Upon retuning from work the evening of 7/26 I read the work order left on the countertop that the work was "complete". Everything had simply been painted over and backsplash caulked back to the wall. I contacted the office on 7/27 to ask if the unit had been inspected due to my concerns and was told by that maintenance did not "detect what I claimed" and my response was to ask if the maintenance tech licensed to detect mold and told "yes". I explained that if I have to hire a mold specialist to come here and mold is discovered " there is going to be a big problem". I was then told that "per my lease" they didcwhat was required andcthat was to paint using "preventative enzyme kilz paint". A couple of days later what do you know, water began leaking from somewhere in the kitchen and on 7/31 the mold specialist I hired came in to inspect and not only did she find "the" leak, she found others onecof which was literally running down the wall behind the water heater. The mold specialist also located many, many areas in the kitchen where mold was growing, her statement to me was "if this is what I think it is, you can't stay here, because this is throughout your kitchen and dangerous to continue to breate in". I again notified management via email of the mold contamination and pics of even more damage due to the leak expanding causing the soffit to crack. The leak was adressed but again nothing was said or done about moving me to address the mold issue. The report came back on 8/3 which I immediately sent to management, I learned on 8/6 that it had not even been opened until after I threatened legal action. The call I recieved from management was in reference to the amount I chosexto deduct from my rent for the inspection I paid for. I ended ALL communication at that time. On 8/7 after I stated I will obtain legal counsel I was offered to be moved to another unit but I requested that this new unit be inspected for mold prior to the move, and management be responsible for my move to which I was told they will not meet my requests and sent me a "termination of lease". They really showed how much they care.
I have lived here for over 2 years and have put up with a lot from obnoxious kids that play tricks like knocking on doors and running. Or sitting on my steps waiting for the school bus and not moving to let me get down. Cops are there every night I swear, including a stabbing this past weekend and the police telling me to stay in my apartment and lock the door. The drainage in the sinks and tub are a huge issue. I have to use drano every day and still can't clean my tub because of the water that builds up in there. The staff has changed about 5 times since I have been there and they just don't care. They pick on the good tenants and leave the disgruntled do whatever they want. I'm very happy I will be getting out of there in 2 weeks. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
Worst apartment complex I live in we ask them to repair my dryer it's been a whole week the office staff is very rude don't have community skills I wouldn't recommend this apartment complex
We have only been here a few months , we love it.. Our. AC broke, I called after hours an maintenance came out within 10 min they said the motor broke he had to order the part and it can't be fixed till tomm morning he said they will be back in the morning ,low and be hold first thing in the morning they were here replacing the motor..We now have a doggie park where my dog can play and were still trying to figure out what there doing in the back next to the pool..time will tell...great quiet place to live..
HUGE BUG PROBLEM!!! Office staff is rude. The window screens were torn. The door guard was so high that MORE ants and lizards and palmetto bugs started to come inside. IT HASN'T EVEN BEEN A WEEK!!! I hate this place. You can hear the neighbors on top and next to you VERY clear. Walls are so thin.
Lived here almost 7 months now and really have had no issues. Office staff is very friendly and maintenance requests are done quickly. Lots of improvement going on and the property is really looking great!
Management is really bad, closets, sinks cheap, break easily, NOT WORTH THE AMT OF RENT, will not renew lease, bugs are everywhere, along with bed bugs,in which they will move new tenants in without treating the previous issues, I can't wait until lease is up, VERY DISPLEASE CURRENT TENANT??
These apartments are by far the worst I have ever seen. When we first moved in, there were small roaches, ants, spiders everywhere. We had to take money out of our own pocket to bomb it 5 times and it still didn't help. They sent pest control 3 times but they would not go away. The air went out and they never came to fix it. The complex has 2 pools and both were closed. One eventually opened 4 months after living there. One of the office ladies are extremely rude. We had to go. I wouldn't dare recommend these apartments to no one!!!!!
The manager of the maintenance department to include Tim (supporting staff member), have been always helpful in ensuring that our family's needs are met within a timely manner, typically the same day. Thanks again Tim! Chris
This is a horrible place to live the maintenance don't respond and fix nothing the office is rude they act like it hurts them to put in a work order for you our apartment is full of bugs and roaches and spiders Pest Control is a joke these apartments are overpriced poorly renovated my ceilings look like they're going to fall in from being patched so many times don't make the same mistake we made don't let these apartments fool you the office is nice the first day you move in and that's yet we have about five ongoing problems that still have not been fixed for the six months that we have lived here
The management for this property is horrible. Our building has had to deal with excessive noise all hours of the night. The police have been called several times and still the property management does absolutely nothing. Our apartment has been flooded twice from our upstairs neighbors and there are still damages that have NOT been taken care of. We have gone to complain about issues several times and each time we are told that there is nothing they can do because a judge wont grant an eviction just based on noise complaints, but my question is if your lease states that there is to be no excessive noise and you do nothing about the problem are you not breaching your own contract. Spoke with a Largo Police Department yesterday and was informed that the complex does have legal rights to evict tenants for things such as noise complaints. Also found out that this property owes over $300,000 in taxes from last year. Horrible place to live honestly. The walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING that the neighbors around you are doing, and I do mean EVERYTHING. Have not had a peaceful night of sleep here for the past 6 months and we make consistent complaints, yet the property manager says she never gets complaints. DO NOT MOVE HERE. They used to be called Bay Pointe Apartments and they where just as horrible then.
I moved into Woodland Key about 6 months ago because of how close it was to school. I go to NAA and it is right between my classes and the airport. The ladies in the office have been really helpful anytime I have to put in a work order. Maintenance has had some changes but Glenn always gets my stuff handled. Defintely a good price for what you get.
After three weeks of asking the office for the leaky roof and black mold in my apartment to be fixed it has gone unresolved. I have been given multiple excuses and conflicting reasons as to why my family is being subjected to breathing in toxic mold. My toddler has started to develop respiratory issues. The lack of concern for the well being and health of tenants is very disappointing.
I've lived in the community for over four years now and that happens to be longer than anyone on the current leasing staff. During that time I've tolerated poor maintenance response due simply to the seriousness of the issue. This year when I was going to renew my lease the leasing agent insisted that I move and transfer to a newly renovated unit as the then current unit I was occupying was due for renovation. Since then my life has changed. The ceiling in my living room leaks when it rains. There is a visible hole in my ceiling where the drywall has degraded and water literally leaks into the living room. I live in Clearwater Florida so just think about that for a minute with all the rainfall we get here annually. The ceiling leaks when it rains. I have notified the staff at least four times for the record yet the issue remains unresolved. I can't state how embarrassing it is to have company over and rain water drips on them while seated on my sofa.
It's my fourth year here and I have to say the new Management did such a great job on the place.Yhe new apartments look absolutely great and very clean also the new Landscaping makes a big difference. Beside the location is great close to transportation and shopping

Wow, some people are not happy anywhere. The main points about these apartments are location and price. In the nine months I have lived here, I have seen a great improvement on the quality of people renting here. No more druggies or criminal types. Mostly hard working people who appreciate a good deal. Maybe most of the comments are from before when it wasn't so good. You cannot have everything and these apartments are very affordable.
