Property Ratings at Apex Apartments
They say it’s new management but it’s the same problems with new people. They don’t respect the move in special at all. I’ve had issues with pest and plumbing since the day we’ve moved in and I’ve called the office about it and they will NEVER do anything about it. They constantly pull the card of saying “oh whenever said that” or “we don’t do that” even if you have specifically made it clear what you needed or what your plans were. Also valet trash is a joke. Your lucky if they even come on the days they say are scheduled and they will throw your trash can so it’s throw across the hall when they do get it. If you want to live with cockroaches and constantly having all plumbing being clogged or flooding your whole place then this place is where you’d want to live.
ROACHES AND ANTS EVERYWHERE! Not renovated as advertised instead they put newer-ish doors on old nasty cabinets, no maintenance, gate is never closed, dog poop everywhere, 6 months still don't have a fullt working stove. And people's cars keep getting broken into.
Finally free of this place, after problems upon problems!! Mold issues NEVER addressed, and the management even went on to kick a resident out for calling them out on the mold issue.. it killed her cats but they told her she “over stayed her welcome.” do not sign as tina will NOT be there for you.
Nothing gets fixed properly or in a timely manner. Staff is rude and dismissive. Maintenance drags their feet to fix even the most minor issues. Appliances are constantly breaking and amenities and utilities are rendered unusable. This place is very expensive compared to what you actually get as far as the actual apartment and staff quality goes. Save the frustration and money!

Don't rent here. All they did was paint it a new color scheme. It's still run down and falling apart. Appliances are literally the cheapest ones they can buy. The roof in my apartment leaked for nearly 4 months from the day I moved in before they finally fixed it. Maintenance is awful. They never actually "fix" things and will cuss at you and berate you if you complain about their service or things not working. The office staff is catty and rude. They're using covid as an excuse to not fix anything but they still charge the same price every month. They force you to pay $40/month for "concierge trash pick up" no matter what. They also charge $12/month for insurance even if you already have it. They charge $4/month for pest control even though I've never seen anyone come out and spray and there are ants everywhere. If you do rent here plan on paying ridiculously high rent for a run down apartment and fixing everything that breaks yourself.

***update Sept 19th It's been a week that we still haven't had anything resolved!!!! The communication with the office is the worst I've ever experienced!!!! It's been nothing but She said so and so, and someone else something else, turns out so and so is transfered now so our problems seem to not matter to them at all ! This place, for the most part, hasn't been too bad, at least how it started off. We are not ones to be bad tenants or to make complaints all the time, we pay our rent on time if not before. We actually pay by checks at the office since online service's charge a $3 fee to process by checking account and up to $25 fee for credit card. So you have to pay a fee to pay your rent!!! We signed our lease in the beginning when the complex was being bought out from a different company, which so far hasn't been the best experience. We've been having problems with our account because the fees (such as pest control and velvet trash) they are currently running don't match what we signed up for. Our contract should be honored until the lease term has ended. I have addressed this for 3 months now and nothing has been correct. The worse thing about this place is pest control... I understand that the complex is older and given the weather recently, it seems as if the apartment itself is infested with little roaches everywhere! It's to the point where it's actually disturbing on soooo many levels! I am leaving this bad review only because I've been attempting to get someone to return my phone call which that has yet to happen. We went into the office on Saturday to schedule a thorough extermination for this past Wednesday, that didn't happen. We have all of our belongings in container bins as instructed for us to be prepared. They did not show up!!! So now... Are we supposed to live like this?? For how long?? If they actually care about what their tenants think I am willing to update my review once and IF I get a response from anyone from the office, so let's see how long that will be!

This is my very first apartment and I was really excited to have my own place! I got here on move-in day only to find the apartment very, very dirty. The next morning maintenance woke me up pounding on the door still trying to finish things up because my shower head and so many other things were missing. I went to the front office to let them know the apartment was filthy and they said someone was on their way. Well that someone never arrived so i myself had to start sweeping and mopping everything! Cleaning restrooms was not in my plans! Especially after having to move in my things from another city. Its been a week since my move in date and they still cant get things done! I’m frustrated and I definitely regret coming here! The ladies at the front desk make you feel like you’re dumb! P.s. i reserved my apartment with time not last minute.

Don't move here if you can help it. There are so many inconveniences living here that you don't find out until after you move in. Maintenance takes weeks to get taken care of. Poop everywhere, no lighting at night, tiny parking spaces, you're in the flight path so there's air noise all hours of the day and night, no gate opener, you have to have a card to open and there's a gate code to leave the complex, you can't pay anything online only in the lobby during business hours. The customer service is terrible and they will make you feel like you are borthering them if you ask for a maintence request. If they forget to write it down, it doesn't get done. Just don't move here, I wish I would've read the reviews before I did.
I looked at several properties before I gave this place a shot, I fell in love with my townhome! It is super spacious and layed out well. Robin, Annette, and Jody in the office are super helpful and ready to help in any way possible. The maintenance crew is timely, courteous, and professional. I am so happy I came by for a visit over a year ago now.
I have been living here for roughly 3.5 years and have never had a bad experience! Management was always very helpful with any issue presented. The pricing versus the quality and appearance of the apartment is very hard to beat, compared to other complexes within the same price range. I have stayed here throughout my entire college experience due the courteous staff and convenient location. The office manager, "Jody", was extremely helpful and beyond nice. I would recommend living at this complex to anyone.
I have seriously never dealt with such horrible property management before. I've had so many plumbing issues too. I have never given a bad review before but I am so disappointed because it's not cheap to live here and I usually get a long very well with management and like to feel like I'm part of a community. The manager is never here and is so stuck up acting. If they switched some of the employees this place would be really cool. The apartment itself is comfortable but has some issues.
The office people make promises and excuses but do not follow through. So you continue to pay rent and the promises never happen. My unit has flooded from upstairs numerous times. Vinyl flooring needs to be replaced has mold under it, "yes, we will replace as soon as possible"...it's been 3 months. I have called to remind and more promises. We also had a tenant hit by a car while working his dog, he told them about it there was nothing they could do.....even though the areas are dark because so many building lights are not working.....etc etc..
quiet Place, just watch out for the deer, and don't let people drive in behind you
My school is less than fifteen minutes with no traffic! Job is less than ten minutes! Family is less than twelve minutes! & fiancé parent's live down the road! Best location, no traffic spots and I have an H-E-B, Wal-Mart, Lowes, Sprint store, restaurants, & a gas station just two minutes from my apartment. I love this complex location. Maintenance is the best and they're very hard working. Pets are people friendly! First apartment ever for me & I am grateful for Apartments Now helping me out in finding Blanco Crossings.
The maintenance is slow and terrible. Very unsatisfied for how much we spend. Communication to stay on issues is never taken care of. Pool is always closed and so it leasing office.
Lived here. Commercial jets of all sizes fly immeduately overhead, and I mean, LOW. I never got used to the noise and it eventually began to ruin my health. I also had a bug problem and so did my neighbors. Office staff are very business (not people) oriented... Upside, right next to a great park and greenbelt. Neighborhood is nice. Maintanence crew proved fast and professional.
Old and VERY expensive apartments. These apartments have very high prices for the age they are. Besides that, WATER BILL here is SUPER EXPENSIVE. One bedroom pay almost $ 50. Two bedroom almost $80. Can you imagine 3 bedroom WATER Bill...??? We CAN NOT use the Air Antennas, it is impossible to watch TV because of Air Traffic. We have to pay a TV company because there is no other way to save money. Last summer the pool was closed for several weeks, So...... does not make sense to have a pool here .....!! AWFUL.........!!
