Property Ratings at Apex at Sky Valley
My brother and I have lived here for almost two years now and have had nothing but issues with maintenance and the management team and owners could care less. This happened to our storage unit last august!! They finally repair the drywall last month but have yet to fix the electrical work and the framing of the door is warped so we can’t shut the door. Would not recommend this place to anyone!!
I wasn’t even going to write this, but at this point I feel I have to. Worst management I’ve ever seen. First of all, on my move in date I show up to get my keys and they literally tell me somebody was still living in my unit! They had no idea what was going on. Thank God by pure luck they happened to have another unit that they moved me into, but I wasn’t supposed to move into that unit, and it almost resulted in me not having a place to live. Took hours to figure out and I ended up missing being able to pick up my Uhaul! It tools all night to move! If that doesn’t show how disorganized and careless they are then I don’t know what will. Second of all when I moved into the unit it was an absolute mess! Holes in the wall, chipped paint everywhere, broken drawers, broken door knobs, broken doors, appliances not working, you name it. Looked nothing like the unit I originally toured. It’s been 2 months and they still haven’t fixed some of the issues. Not to mention maintenance literally put the door knob to my front door on backwards! Backwards! Meaning anybody could just walk in my apartment, and lock me in from the outside! Complete incompetence! They never answer the phones. You leave a voicemail, they don’t call you back. You email, they ignore you. I put a service request in 4 days ago for a broken microwave and my garbage disposal not working, and multiple outlets not working, and I haven’t heard a peep. Can’t even do my dishes. At first glance, the apartments look nice, but this place is janky. Now I wish I would listened to the other online reviews!
Paige in the office is the best of the best. In the midst of her busy schedule on two separate days gave me two tours of the property show me units Answers all my questions Paige you have been a pleasure to work Thank you for accommodating all my needs as I’m moving from Hawaii and u made the transition easy for me I love the new clubhouse and fitness center- I look forward to moving in Respectfully
Its really nice out here. Howver i wish they would do somwthing about preventing people from parking in others spots. Adding a sign no one will never notice does not help.
The people in the office are friendly and professional, the maint guys help you and are very professional and do their jobs well,The property is well kept, the apts. are very nice. It is very quiet in this area, love it.
Moving in to the Apex Apartments has been the easiest move I've ever had to deal with. Shawna, Katie and all of the maintenance guys have been great.
The staff at the Apex were above and beyond helpful with the whole process. Katie was very kind and very professional. Anytime there was an issue or concern she communicated with us in a timely manner and kept us updated on the status of the townhome. We are very satisfied with this community as well as our home.
Great property! Quiet and clean with great amenities!
I have been here since April and have not been able to use the club house or the pools. This is getting rediculous!
Trash situation in the whole complex is terrible. Not pool or other amenities and still going up in rent prices without any compensation for the lack of amenities. The parking situation is getting worst especially when maintenance and construction are eliminating the extra parking spots. Maintenance took a month to fulfill a service request. Lawn is going brown around the area and trash everywhere cause the dumpsters are always full and overflowing
Great place to live nice community just want more parking spots
Property--B; facilities--B-; onsite management -0. If future tenants will rely on the onsite management they need to run for the hills to avoid throwing themselves in the hands of these people. Rude, Incompetent; disrespectful; deceitful.
Living here is comfy and cozy. Live my balcony view!
Nice complex, needs some updates on the paint but that is currently being worked on.
Silver Ridge Apartments is a wonderful community in the perfect location. With its park like settings it feels very peaceful even being so close to downtown. The new management team has been very friendly and incredible helpful whenever I needed assistance. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for housing to check out this community. Although the reviews online are mostly negative, I would recommend you take them with a grain of salt as people tend to leave out important information as to why their situation turned out the way that it did. I would encourage you to come feel the property for yourself and make your own decision.
Great place to live! Friendly staff! Clean and quiet!
Lovely outdoor space, apartments are very nice size and layout. Staff is friendly.
Thankful to have a place that cares about our concerns and works with our situations.
I have found Silver Ridge to be a great place to live. I have met many nice people and the maintenance crew has always been timely and they do excellent work. The office staff is always available and they are very helpful with any needs I may have.
I am very unhappy with new management and the maintenance.
Great community and great place to live. The front office is polite and caring and will help you anyway possible.
Silver Ridge apartments are above average on square footage and the large and mature lawn grounds are maintained well. Under new management, repairs and upkeep are seen to in an efficient and effective manner. While the buildings are not completely sound proof (few apartments are) they are for the most part quiet without excessive noise intrusion.
Property needs to be more consistent with maintenanceleaves everywhere, broken lights, overgrown weeds. The property is so dark, unit numbers/bldg. is barely visible at night (Uber/Doordash always gets lost here). Poor communication between staff (never reply to emails, phone is always unattended & goes to voicemail), issues with noise or trash from other residents was never addressed. The location is good, quiet but I wont be signing again next year. For a little bit more, I can move to the Montebello at Summit Ridge and get a true gated community, very nice amenities and excellent service.
This complex has a great setting and a management team that is respectful and responsive. I feel safe here and heard when things need attention. The buildings are not modern or cookie cutter. There is a unexpected originality, though not an excessive originality, if that makes sense. There is a kind of organic connection with the location of the complex that prevents it from the banality that one can find in many newer constructions.
I don't know what apartments have a 6 month lease, I was never offered that it was just a 1 year lease. Walls are very thin, I can hear the lady next door blow her nose or cough. All around me are dogs that bark, neighbors could care less how many times they slam their doors, I mean so hard it's knocked stufff off my wall. Not the best apartments but close to my kids and only place I can afford unless they raise the rent $50 each year. Can't sit on your balcony to enjoy outside as there is no cover and the wasp are everywhere. But this is where I am and I will make do.
Not enough staff for the number of tenants. Management is aloof and condescending. Appliances are nice, but the interior is poorly built overall. I would avoid it. Kudos to the maintenance staff.
They never fix problems with apartments. If an appliance breaks because its from the 70's they replace it with another old appliance that doesn't work. Never fixed our electrical problems in fact they made it worse. Lots of communication issues and inapropriatley entering our apartment and snooping around. Unproffesional and rude! It may look nice but its not! I highly reccomend not renting here. I spoken with many other tenants who have experienced the same thing I have. Its not worth it.
Staff herr is outstanding apartments here are very nice and clean the manager Christine is very nice and professional would recommend this property lisa smith
The apartment complex itself is beautiful and the maintenance crew keeps it looking clean and green. However the office staff is a little lacking. I have lived here for four years and it has been mostly the same employees in the office. They've left notes on our door addressed to the wrong people. We have transferred units to get into a larger unit and they would tell us we needed to pay a certain amount and then a week later they would say we needed to pay a different, higher, amount. So thankfully we had saved all the emails and were able to prove they had said the lower price first. They just seem very disorganized, but if you can keep track of the people's names and get some sort of written document confirming prices then it is a really nice place to live.
Very nice apartment. Beautiful view. Nice people good size rooms. But the water heater is upstairs. Other then that it's very nice and and great place to live.
