Bloomsburg is a secluded town of around 15,000 people on the banks of the Susquehanna River, roughly 60 miles southwest of Scranton. Best known regionally as the home of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, the large population of students gives the community a distinctive college town atmosphere—this is most apparent in the eastside neighborhoods surrounding the campus, and along Main Street, which features an extensive assortment of cafes, arts venues, and nightlife hotspots catering to the university crowd. However, with its combination of quiet suburban streets, highly-rated schools, and low crime rate, Bloomsburg is also great for folks raising families.

Property Ratings at Apollo Point Apartments
A little over a year ago I decided that I wanted to simplify my life. I made an appointment to tour Apollo Point. I was very impressed! Fast forward 1 year and a few month, my home sold quickly and I moved into Apollo Point. I have never regretted the move. There are so many wonderful amenities and activities. I have met new friends and have longtime friends living here as well. I got involved and help volunteer where I can.I don't understand any poor reviews or comments. The entire staff is kind, courteous, very knowledgable and helpful. Life is what you make it! There is a building now designated to 55+. Do yourself a favor and call for an appointment to get a tour. You won't regret it!
I moved here for a job in February and signed a lease sight unseen. Will be renewing my lease for another year. Leasing staff did a virtual tour with me over the phone and walked me through the process. They were friendly and patient. When I moved in they were happy to answer more questions and even had some great suggestions on local restaurants and how to get my car tags and registration. I was pleasantly surprised by the apartment. It is better than I could have expected. Being from Louisianna I was worried about snow. When it did snow the men came by with shovels and snow plows and cleared it all away. I work 20 mins away and look forward to returning home each night. Any time I need work done in the apartment they come by while I'm at work and fix it with no issues. The pool is gorgeous and they have gas/stone fire pits to enjoy at night. Fun place to live!!!
We have lived here for almost 3 years and love it. Always fun things to do without leaving" home"... beautiful grounds, pool and new walking trail. We especially love the new playground and covered area for picnics. Friendly staff and lots of events are planned each month. My kids look forward to the Calendar each month to see what's happening. There is a delicious prepared meal each month for all to enjoy and the ladies that cook are so fun and friendly. A really nice community feel!!! Nothing else like it in the area, would not want to live anywhere else.
You will wait WEEKS for maintenance, and the front office will not help you. Get ready to pay out of pocket on top of rent to fix things. Staff doesn't care about you, or any issues you may have. Trust me. very nice before you move in, then things change and your just another number. No urgency to keep a resident. We see people moving out all the time. No wonder!
I am a nurse and it is perfect for me to go back and forth from the Hospital. Very quiet and I love the pool area and workout facilities. The apartment is huge and I love that everything is included, electric, water, and internet. I only need to write one check.

We used to know the rent & special offers through flyers at notice board or at elevators at each buildings, apart from emails, not anymore since new management. Earlier it used to be a pleasant place to live, customer friendly, but not anymore.
This place is a terrible place to live with terrible internet, mail box key does not work at all, walls are way to thin.

My apartment is a gorgeous 3 bedroom apartment that has various amenities like a hot tub, pool, gym and even business center for college students. Its my favorite place I have lived and wouldn't trade it for anything else.
1) Price This property is reasonably priced, except that you have to pay for parking and it's pretty far from downtown. The bus stop right in front of the property is pretty convenient. 1) Noise Compared to other apartments, the noise between walls is not that bad unless your neighbors are extremely loud. The bathroom noise due to shower running is quite noisy though. The landlord controls the fire alarms and you can't do anything until they come in to fix or change batteries when the alarms started making noises due to low batteries. 2) Space The room is not big of course, but the kitchen is too small to actively cook stuff around. I'm not sure from where, but I smell tobacco in the room all the time unless I have windows opened. The property is right off of a road, so it's not that pleasant to hear the car noise when the windows opened. 3) Appliances The AC is old and VERY loud. The oven is fine, but the electronic stove doesn't heat up that fast, and it smells like burning if you turn it up more than the medium. I'm not sure what's the deal with the water heater, but the shower water temperature is really hard to manage. The toilet becomes dirty too soon. I think it's the flushing system that shoots up the water somehow. 4) Utilities TV cable and heating is included which is nice. The internet is not included, and you have only one choice. Electronics are not included as well. Overall, it's not that bad for the price, but it certainly has rooms for improvements.
Well maintained, office staff very laid back and easy to work with, clean and quiet. Very affordable for the area.
