Property Ratings at Apres Apartment Homes
This is the first apartment that I've lived in, and the experience is incomparable. Michelle and her team do a marvelous job at every turn. They are friendly, kind, and personable, even when I bug them right before closing. Maintenance requests are taken care of the next day (even for smaller issues), and the public areas in the apartment complex are kept very clean (including snow being removed from sidewalks). They are also very transparent about rent/billing each month, providing a clear breakdown of expenses (which is nice for those of us that are a tad more OCD). The thing I love most is the community events that Michelle and her team host. These include summer pool parties, trunk-or-treats, free "burritos on the way to work" day, and lots of others. The apartments are very well maintained, with updated appliances, clean flooring (both un-scratched hardwood and brand new looking carpets), and good size storage closet on the balcony (which is incredibly rare and handy). The location is also key. There is a Costco on the other side of the street (~2-minute walk), as well as a Safeway (with very low gas prices), Target (with CVS Pharmacy), and a King Soopers. There are also a lot of restaurants close by like Red Robin, Applebees, Olive Garden, and Buffalo Wild Wings. I can not praise Apres enough. If I were able to give more than a 5-star rating, I would. Thanks, Michelle and team! Y'all have been great!

Ok place to live but was sent to collections for last months water bill without any notice to pay before hand even though I gave my forwarding address and phone number. Will be on my report for many years for no reason. Very disappointing and would not recommend

My boyfriend and I have lived at Apres for just under 2 years now. We didn't move during the pandemic to avoid renting something we couldn't tour. In those two years time our water has been shut off twice for 2 or more days for maintenance that the city threatened them to comply with code, and then to seemingly replace a service line. This second time we got no warning of our second day without water, as service had returned the night before. On top of this, maintenance seems to be minimally knowledgeable about their neccesary skills. Our AC has broken each summer, and the first time we waited so long for them to come(7 days) that the heat of the days put our pets in danger. Our sink began to backfill last week at 10pm from our neighbors bathroom water usage and the overnight emergency maintenance barely answered our calls. When he finally did, at 1am, he complained that is was late and that it would take him 45 minutes to get to the complex, he legitimately tried to guilt us out of having him do his job. When he finally arrived he said he knew nothing about plumbing, but made sure to give guarantees that our sink of grey water wouldn't overflow onto our bathroom floor. How does your maintenance, especially emergency, not understand even a little about plumbing, and why are they almost an hour off site? We demanded he do something because we had already cleared the water once, and since he refused to call a plumber saying none would be available(24 hour plumbers exist). He struggled with the p trap for 45 minutes and low and behold the sink had refilled by morning, which meant it absolutely would have overflowed had he not drained it. He told us we had a plumber coming by 7:30am in the morning. The plumber didn't get there until almost 1:30pm. Oh, and let's not forget that I saw a roach for the first time ever a few weeks ago. They tried to bandaid it by only treating our apartment even though it's a multi-unit building, and we are a third floor unit. Finally after I pushed I saw more units get the notification of treatment. There's maybe 2 out of the 20 times we've had to have maintenance come that have been smooth. The office staff seemed so great when we moved in, but I've come to find if you call or email them about anything they seem confused or unapologetic. The facilities here are beautiful, and the apartments themselves are quite nice and priced wonderfully. Just be warned, it's going to be a huge headache if you need anything fixed.

Before moving in we made sure to ask all the right questions. Here are a few ways we were misled. We were told our apartment had vaulted ceilings with skylights. (It doesn't) We were told that every room, even the spare bedroom had cable connections. (The spare room doesn't) After moving in we had to hire someone to pick up the carpet and run wires under the carpet so we can have TV and internet in our spare room. The sample apartment that they show everyone has a regular sized toilet. Our toilet is the smallest toilet I've ever been on. We asked for a quiet corner of the property away from all of the noise. But apparently my building is the hang out spot for a young skate and scooter crew. The downstairs neighbor has even complained about my dog barking on a day that our dog wasn't even in this state. Now we have been getting harassed by a "cleaning man" that doesn't clean anything. We watch him tear open trash from the dumpster then put it in his bucket so it looks like he is working while he snoops on everyone. This guy leaned up against my car and started hitting the undercarriage while my car is still on. I asked who he is and he tried to conceal his name tag. He wouldn't speak to me so I had to tell him to leave me and my family as well as my car alone. When I contacted the front office with pictures of the the guy, I was told he was a great employee and that everyone had lots of good things to say about him. So basically be careful of what you are told and shown at these apartments. [If they apologize to me and fire this guy I will change this review and bump them up a star] *** (Update) Now everytime we see the cleaning guy he flips us the bird, and the front office and the Greystar company won't return my calls. •Very disappointed•

I’ve lived at Apres, formerly Ponderosa Villas, for almost 6 years now. Overall, the apartment complex and staff is great a dealing with issues and working with its tenants. Every apartment complex has its quirks and Apres is no different... They are working to renovate apartments, too, so while I’m in an older apartment I still love the look and feel of it. Maintenance does a great job dealing with big and small issues, the office staff is friendly and attentive, and the property management company is working to improve the property. We’ve seen new paint, the clubhouse open, and other projects being worked on throughout the community which is awesome. The only two issues I have with the apartments in general is the noise levels and the Valet Trash service. When I first moved in, the sound proofing seemed pretty well done – or maybe I just lived next to less noisy people at the time – over the years, it seems as if the sound proofing isn’t as good as it used to be. I just wish Valet Trash was an optional service since it’s easy to toss my trash into the dumpster when necessary. I’d recommend Apres to those looking for a decent apartment in the good part of Aurora.

Hi, thank you so much for the positive review! Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you; we are more than happy to help!
I've lived here almost two years in a small one bedroom and I really like it. The grounds are neat, and well kept, the office staff are nice and helpful, and the maintenance staff is Great! The complex used to be very neat and green but they're working on that now. For the most part it's quiet, neighbors keep to themselves, no real drama, nice community for children too. It's kinda of like living in a small condo. I'd recommend living here.
I love my Apt its the best i love it. apt.com got me what i wanted and the price range to i got what i wanted to pay and the location is great to its the best i recomand it for anybody and and anywere
