From the moment I walked in the door, it felt like a place I wanted to be. Welcoming, warm and relatable. Everything else lives up to the standard the front office sets. Jenn is the best there is, and its not even close!

HORRIBLE-DON'T MOVE TO THIS COMPLEX- My roommate and I went in to see the property in Jan 2022. It was a Saturday, we visited the apartment and returned to the leasing office. The sales agent asked us to go get a $200 money order to hold the apartment, we did and returned with the money order. Then she told us to go home and apply online, which we did, but the apartment we wanted was not listed. She (sales agent) then said she would put the number on our separate applications. We both paid $81.75 ea. Waited several days just to find out we did not get an apartment. As of today 9/27/22 we are being harassed by phone and email, even sent to collections ( I have the emails to prove this) for not paying them $150 each. (FOR WHAT). We have sent bank statements showing we paid the application fee and nothing else is owned. I am going to keep posting this message until they resolve this issue. Gina

I've lived here for almost 3 years, the current office staff is by far the worst. Completely unhelpful, rude, lazy and will lie to you in order to keep doing their job poorly. I'm constantly shocked by the lack of professionalism. Apartments are infested with toxic mold, cockroaches, and other bugs. My health has taken a nose dive since living here, and I'm not the only tenant with this issue. There is virtually no security. The front gate has been broken for months. The office staff is completely unconcerned by the fact that random men show up at my door and harass me. Packages are constantly stolen from my door step or misplaced in the parcel lockers. I had a package misplaced in the parcel lockers owned by the property, the office staff refused to help me locate it for weeks. I usually take negative reviews with a grain of salt. Do yourself a favor, listen to them and avoid this place like the plague.
Maintenance is absolutely ridiculous. The maintenance guy is super friendly, but there it seems as though there is only ONE maintenance guy, and no after-hours maintenance. I’ve been waiting more than a month for some drywall to be replaced to prevent mold growth due to water damage, more than a month for what appears to be a blood stain cleaned up in the breezeway, and am now having to get a hotel for the night to avoid a second night in a row in an 80+ degree apartment because they didn’t get to it today. The only response I get from anyone is “I’ll put this request at the top of the list for the maintenance guy” without any resolution or communication whatsoever. I can’t wait for my lease to expire so I can get out of here.

I really enjoyed my tour here and was very interested in moving in. However, when I applied and waited to hear back there was nothing. I called at least ten times and each time they wrote my number down saying they would call me back. They never did. I tried to be patient but after three weeks of calls AND emails I gave up and they lost a potential resident.

Do not move here if you're moving from out of state and not able to view the unit for your own eyes beforehand! The leasing agent, Jonathon, who helped me was not accurate about what the unit really looked like. I arrived and was completely taken aback. I was told black appliances, but it was white appliances. I was told grey countertops, but it was this cringy black & brown rocky road looking color. I was told grey laminate flooring, but it was orange oakwood flooring. The cabinets above the stove looked like it was going to fall down at any given moment. It was nothing like what the leasing agent told me and didn't even look move-in ready. I immediately called them out on it and turned the apartment down. They said they would void the lease and refund me my money back. It's been over a month and still no refund. I can NEVER get ahold of anyone, and no one is EVER there! This costed me a $1700 loss and completely ruined the stability of my move to Georgia. Hands down the most unprofessional apartment complex I've ever dealt with!

One of the worst experiences in this complex!! It’s ridiculous the round arounds they give you. EVERYBODY who I’ve encountered has been either rude or dismissive. They will try to fine you and over charge you with false fees! You can tell they simply don’t care about their residents! I feel bad for even the pets that stay in this property! Never will I recommend anybody to ever live here. Go anywhere else don’t be fooled!

The community environment is clean and welcoming. I do enjoy my apartment. However, the rent office staff is awful and very untrustworthy. Be prepared for spontaneous charges that have nothing to do with anything you’ve done. The communication is horrible and the it’s hard to get things done. I suggest paying more money and going somewhere else to live. I would not recommend just because the office staff and management is a headache ??. Not funnnnn ??.

The leased us the wrong apartment! Completely mislead us. The communication is almost laughable. One person tells you one thing and then someone else tells you another. The apartment was not clean upon move in. Smelled bad. Light switches and cabinetry was dirty.
This rating is for the team more so than the actual apartment. It takes an act of God to get anything accomplished here. My most recent issue is that I was literally locked in my apartment due to a door knob malfunction. After telling them, I need help leaving my place, I was told that maintenance just left within the last fifteen minutes. He told me that someone will come in the morning once the office opens. I explained to him again that I cannot get out of my apartment and I have to go to work. He said well its after hours now. I asked to speak to the manager because I am positive that this issue falls under an emergency. After reexplaining the situation 5 times, I was finally told that someone will be out to fix the issue. An hour and a half later, someone show up. The first thing he says to me is "You couldn't have done this at a better time? You waited right until I got home. I mean there wasn't signs? You didn't have any issues before?" I looked at him like he was crazy. I said, "No, I didn't know that I was going to be locked into my apartment." The handling of this situation from start to finish was horrible. If this was the only thing that has happened since I have lived here I probably would not be writing this. I have lived here a little over 1.5 years and I have had issues since day 1. I have seen 3 property managers and countless leasing agents and its all the same. I have had the same issue fixed over 10 times. I put in work orders and they list it as completed without doing anything or delete it all together. I currently have a work order that I have over placed 4 times since June and still have had no one come to even look at it. The thing that bothers me the most is that this place is a very convenient location for me to live and looks decent inside. If I never had to talk anyone who works here or ever have maintenance issues it would get close to 5 stars. Now I am kicking myself because I am going to be forced renew due to not being able to go look anywhere else due to the combination of the Covid-19 and the demand my job has now placed on me. I really just wish this place could be run correctly but I have pretty much given up on that. If you don't want move in issues, poor maintenance requests, a staff that works poorly together, comprised security, and a huge headache find somewhere else to live. If the issues could be fixed I would change my review and be happy to be here, but I have lost all faith in that ever happening.

am not sure where these great reviews are coming from (are they paying people to write good reviews? Maybe writing their own reviews to boost the score?)...my wife and I have had no such great experience. I'm not sure to even begin. If you need any kind of assistance WHATSOEVER...good luck getting a hold of anyone. They NEVER answer the phones at the front office. The phones roll over to a call center and there is NO communcation between the call center and the office on the property. The front gate is ALWAYS broken/open so there really is no sense of security on the property. The grounds are TRASHED...construction/grounds improvement are one thing but the trash covering the grounds (especially behind the 1000 building) is horrible and unacceptable. People misuse the "valet" trash service and you end up with LARGE piles of smelly garbage in the breezeways but management never enforces those rules. That is just on the outside....we have had a slew of issues inside of our unit. If you want any of those issues addressed then be ready to wait weeks or even months. There are bugs, we have experienced multiple instances of mold, leaky air conditioning...the list goes on. Ansley Place was a FAR BETTER place to live before Renew came in and took over. If you are looking for someplace to live DO NOT sign your lease with Renew Sandy Springs...heed my warning...and save yourself a whole lot of headache.
My wife and I had to move abruptly from our last residence. From day one , Lauren and the staff at Ansley Place have been very helpful, kind, and accommodating. They worked with us when we needed it and truly helped make it possible to get out of our previous (NIGHTMARE of a) lease. The unit is updated, clean, and the staff has been attentive to our needs. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking to move to the Sandy Springs/Roswell Area.
