Property Ratings at Arbor Crossing
The elevator in this building was recently broken for about six months. At one point, both elevators were broken. All we heard from management was smarmy non-apologies for this massive inconvenience. The apartments are decent, although very overpriced. You'd be much better off getting a good value and a friendly manager somewhere other than here.
My wife, daughter and I have been at Arbor Crossing for 8 months and think Arbor Crossing is a great place. Here's the details: Location- It's central to everything, but not buried in the downtown. It's a nice walk/bike to campus, the capitol square (a.k.a. farmer's market), and State Street. The other direction... Whole foods, Target and Hilldale Shops. Amenities- Gym... it's nice, but small. I see people in there often and it has 2 TV's to follow news or a show while you workout. Patio... is great! 2 grills and plenty of room to relax. Community room... great! It's comfortable, roomy, and has a TV to watch sports, local programming, and host events. Underground parking- It's nice to have parking and storage underground. We really appreciated it during the winter and for the security. Staff- Tiffany is great! She was responsive while we were looking, helpful for any concerns or repair requests and manages the many tenants very well. Jason, Stone house's trusty maintenance man, is great too. He has always been friendly, timely and considerate during repairs. Construction. While I appreciate that Arbor Crossing is a "Green" property, I feel they skimped on building materials to save costs. The baseboards are office style vinyl which is easy to clean, but not attractive. The door frames are also very office like in appearance. Overall, I'd recommend Arbor Crossing to anyone looking to live in a great location, with a warm vibe.
