The Pittsfield Lodi neighborhood begins along the southwest side of Downtown Ann Arbor and extends westward Highway 52. This large area includes part of the Pittsfield Charter Township and the Ann Arbor Municipal Airport. It is very close to Oak Valley Center, Briarwood Mall, the University of Michigan-South Campus, and Michigan Stadium – a historic football stadium, nicknamed the “Big House,” is home to the Michigan Wolverines.
When looking at Ann Arbor apartments, be sure to check out the Pittsfield Lodi area – it is a beautiful neighborhood, filled with mature trees and quiet lanes. And with such fast access to downtown, the university, the airport, Pittsfield Lodi is deceptively peaceful.

Property Ratings at Arbor Haus
I've had a great experience moving in to apartments. Apartments are clean and well maintained, and newly renovated! Dina and TJ have been super helpful in the move in process and got me moved in the day I walked in.

Property Manager at Arbor Haus, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your review. We're happy to know that we've exceeded your expectations and look forward to continuing to do so!
Worst place I have ever lived. Very old buildings, noisy (especially on the highway side), rodents, insects, smells weed everywhere. On top of everything, The new management is extremely rude and doesn't care about tenants. They are raising prices on everything including laundry that is broken all the time and I was told that I need to call/fill online form to directly arrange the maintenance order with the vendor (did several times). The rent for new tenants (also added admin fees and utilities and others) seems ridiculously high for services you get. I don't recommend this place to anyone. There are a lot of better places available in Ann Arbor.
The new owners took over 7/23 and so far trash hasn’t been picked up (almost 3 weeks. I have pics but can’t add here) and they raised rent $250-350. No one is ever in the office to get answers. I’m leaving as soon as my lease is over
I am resided in town and country Apartments since 2007. I recently relocated to a two bedroom upgraded apartment from one bedroom. I have never had a problem with maintenance or the staff in the office. I feel that Covid related reasons are coming to an end and communication should go more smoothly.
I've lived here over a year Pros: -One of the cheaper places you'll find within 10-15 minutes of downtown Ann Arbor that isn't in Ypsi -Safety: I've come back at all hours of the night and never felt unsafe walking back to my apartment, I've never heard of anyone having issues (break ins, home invasions, cars broken into, etc.) -Apartment layouts are nice, feel spacious, and kitchens are in pretty good shape. For how old they are, they appear to be pretty well taken care of -Maintenance is usually pretty quick to respond to issues, although I've had a few issues that have been reported and never fixed or required multiple follow ups Cons: -Lack of a dishwasher kind of stinks, it's something I've had in every other apartment I've lived in, even without a clothes washer/dryer -The basements are pretty disgusting: dirty, lots of insects (found a bunch in the dryer still hanging around), took me about a month of living here before I finally got a storage locker in the basement (every resident is supposed to have one) -The bathrooms have a giant window right at chest level and no extractor which I found kind of unsettling, I ended up putting a window tint over it and hanging a curtain after removing the blinds that were already there since they tended to stick together -Lots of issues with insects getting inside, I've probably killed 20 stinkbugs over the course of winter that have been flying around my living room or bathroom. This got a little better after sealing my bathroom window with tape. -The apartments were built with a flat roof so heat doesn't really have anywhere to go meaning if you live on the second floor, expect it to be hot and running your AC constantly. I'm not sure if the AC units built into the living room (*no central AC*) are just old or if the insulation is poor but it seems to have trouble just cooling down the living room and forgot about it cooling your kitchen or bedroom. I had to buy a portable AC unit so I could sleep at night. Other thoughts: -The apartments are literally right next to the highway, if you come from an area that is normally quiet at night, forget about sleeping with your window open, there is constantly traffic on 23. -Management is usually pretty good when you can get a hold of them but they're pretty bad about following up on phone calls or issues you report. Some people may like having management that sort of "leaves you alone" but it's kind of inconvenient when you are trying to report a problem.
I have lived here for several years, and love it. The manager is great, as is maintenance. Heat is included in rent, which is fantastic. They are set off of Carpenter, so it is nice to not be right on a busy street, and is close to major shopping. The complex is kept up nicely and is generally very quiet. As a single person, I always feel safe here. The one bedrooms are spacious and I rarely hear any neighbors. There is a pool open during the summer, no exercise room or playground though. I would definitely recommend these apartments.
It's a niceish place. Our rent is pretty cheap but we need more space and privacy from our roommates. The building is well cared for but it's not the best kept place I've ever been in.
