Tucked in the northwest corner of Cook County, suburbs such as Hoffman Estates, Palatine, South Barrington and Schaumburg vary widely in personality and composition. Schaumburg, the largest in population, is home to Ikea and Woodfield Mall, the largest mall in the Chicago area. Palatine, developed on a wooded marshland, comes in at a close second in size. Hoffman Estates, while smaller, is the most densely populated of the four suburbs and is home to AT&T's Midwest headquarters and Sears Holding Corporation. South Barrington, tiny in comparison, and arguably the most affluent in the area, is home to the famous mega church, Willow Creek Community Church.
Heavy traffic can double or triple commute times, so area locals know to check the highway reports before leaving home. Normal drive time into the city from this area is about 30 minutes via the Interstate 90 tollway. An easy 20 minute drive will take residents to O'Hare International Airport.

I have lived in Arbor Lakes for over 15 months and my experience has been great, the staff is very approachable and helpful (jamie and James) and the maintenance team is very quick in attending request and repairs. There is a big sense of community, and the office takes the job to create activities to incentive this environment. I would highly recommend rent in this property.

Arbor lakes is a great community to live at, apartments are spacious and cozy. Its location is amazing and there is a lot of nature around the property. Very safe and family friendly. Laundry could be challenging but besides that it’s great living here.

Do not rent here! Waste of money for what you get , you will have your packages stolen and or up to your vehicles broken in to or stolen as well. Worst place I’ve ever been and I’ve lived in the hood.
People here are smoking inside the apartments. Be aware before choosing this variant, everything else is good or even excellent.
Arbor Lakes is a family friendly(including pets) community. The apartments have a lot of nice appointments, and well maintained. The office staff is friendly and helpful.

The Arbor Lakes community seems not to have alarming situations except for a few minor instances that are understandable. However, on the part of security, I believe there's need for improvement. The maintenance team is quite responsive and they show up on time

I like my experience living with my family at Arbor’s Lake apartments. Beautiful outside views with their ponds, small fountains and green arbors. Nice place to walk. Pool. Play ground. Cosy apartments, 24/7 maintenance apartments, receptive management, nice appliances. I had that feeling that this is my home and I’m valued like resident. This is very important.

The maintenance team are so fast and does the job well. Whenever I request maintenance, they’ll call me right away or less than 24hrs to schedule a visit. Cruz and Jose helped me a lot with maintenance issues.

I have never had to wait for maintenance to come when I send the request. I have been here for 4 years now and couldn't be happier with the way they keep the grounds and the friendliness of my neighbors in my area. The apartment is quiet and comfortable.

I have lived at Arbor Lakes for about 2 1/2 years and enjoy my apartment. The lay-outs offered here at Arbor Lakes are very spacious with big rooms. The kitchen has a nicer upgrade then a lot of other places we looked at. The community is dog friendly and safe. The management/ maintenance is good too!

Have been staying in Arbor Lake Apartments for 3 years. Very good maintenance and responsive office staff. Community has large parking lots. Very good location near to 53 and major stores. Highly recommended.

I love living at the arbor lake’s apartment complex safety concerns are excellent I feel safe the complex is quite and they keep it clean
