High crime area
I'm assuming the positive reviews on here are from people who were paid or incentivised in some way. This place is the pits, just drive by and count how many windows of cars broken out. Lots of drug/illegal activity, police dispatched to this location frequently. The image used for listing likely from when the apartments were new, they are very outdated just like the apartments themselves.

Friendly office staff
Recently I went in to the office for Arbor Park to retrieve an application and this very nice gentleman in the office stood up and came out to greet me. He answered all my questions even asked me if I wanted a bottle of water. It was a welcome change from what you typically find when you walk into some place renting low income apartments. Very welcome change. Most treat you like you owe them something because you want to rent a low-income apartment. I did not get the same feeling at Arbor Park. He gave me his card and told me if I had any other questions to call or email. The whole experience was great.

Wonderful Large Apartments
Some of the largest apartment floor plans in Mount Vernon. I have looked around and compared prices and everywhere else I’ve looked the apartments are small compared to the ones at Arbor Park. The price is fair too for the area. Near schools; my kids can walk to school and not too far from local stores and restaurants either. I like the new manager, he’s very understanding and knowledgeable. I like the new management company. Complete turnaround compared to the past.

Great Customer Service
Living at Arbor Park for the past few years, I was not overly impressed with the management company. However, since Peak Living took over the property and with the hiring on the new manager, Floyd, I have come to see the remarkable change taking place. This is a great place to live now. The management cares about the residents, making this not just a place to live, but a home. Work orders get finished in a timely manner and if you have an issue, the manager’s door is always open. I would highly recommend renting an apartment now with Arbor Park.
