Sandy beaches, great schools, and local eateries define this large, beachfront city. Long Beach, Mississippi is a wonderful place for the whole family. It’s zoned into the Long Beach School District with a multitude of public schools, filled with dedicated teachers and faculty and great athletic programs. The University of Southern Mississippi resides in Long Beach, bringing a vibrant, youthful vibe to the town. A highly visited landmark and tourist attraction near the university is the Friendship Oak. This large, live oak tree is a celebrated campus landmark that dates back to 1487.
Local businesses and restaurants are a staple to the community, such as Harbor View Café. Enjoy classics like fried pickles and po’boys paired with a delicious cocktail on an outdoor patio with views of the gulf. Right on the beach, you’ll discover Steve’s Marina, a two-story beachfront cafe and bar. Their nautical theme goes perfectly with their seafood staples.

Property Ratings at Arbor Station Apartments
I love this place. The pool is beautiful. I use the fitness center everyday. It's clean and well equipped. The apartment is clean, open, updated, and beautiful. The management is so efficient yet flexible. They are always cheerful, helpful, and upfront. The maintenance team is amazing. If you have a problem, they are there within hours if not minutes. The community is lovely. I've met some great friends that I hope to keep for a long time. I like that I've met all kinds of people. The military is big down here, so I've met lots of military families. I've met many professionals from other countries due to USM to close, stay-at-home-moms, and retirees. Everybody is so interesting and has a good story. I think this is a great place or kids, families, singles, and retirees. This place is pet-friendly. You can walk to the beach. Some people can even see the Gulf from their apartments. I can't, but it's ok. I feel like it's quiet here. There are several retired families living here and they seem happy. I did meet one older guy who was a little grumpy about living here. He didn't like the noise, but he left his windows open a lot. I mean, it IS an apartment complex, so you can expect some noise and minor annoyances intrinsic to the situation. I have a four-year-old boy and he loves the friends he has made here. There is plenty to do for the kids. The school age kids have a tradition of riding their bikes to the bus stop together. They leave their bikes at the office until the bus brings them back. I really can't think of any cons to living here. And no, I am not being compensated for my review. The only con might be the cost. I personally feel that it's worth the money. We moved here from out of state and it was a great choice. You don't need to visit before signing the lease, if you're moving from out of state. Trust me, it's a great SAFE place. There's a wonderful sense of community. If you are moving in from out of state, this is a nice starting place so you can get to know the area. It's a safe, beautiful location with good schools. There are some rougher areas around here where you can rent cheaper, but Arbor Station will be worth your money. I like that they offer flexible leases, and I highly recommend.
I have lived here for a year now and have had a great experience. It's a quiet community where I feel safe and happy coming home. Not only are the grounds and location beautiful and convenient, but also, the staff are very nice, responsive, and helpful. I truly feel that the latter makes a huge difference! Although I am a single person, I can appreciate the family-friendly activities/events that the community offers, such as 'free breakfast/ice cream/pizza' or the annual crawfish boil. They also have exercise classes. I love that I can just walk across to the beach and go for or a run or admire the sunset. All in all, I have no complaints about living here and love it!
I have lived at Arbor Station for over a year and love the life this community offers me. The landscaping is phenomenal, to the point that as a photographer I use the grounds as a backdrop for portraits. The staff is above all the greatest asset to the property. They always have a smile to share, quick service to any issues, before or after office hours, and a true concern that the residents are comfortable. The pool and fitness center are state of the art, always clean and well maintained for safety and comfort. But we live in our homes and their apartments are warm, efficient and have all the amenities of a home. The selection of floor plans are so pleasing it was hard to pick which one to live in. The atmosphere, attitude and attention you experience at Arbor Station ROCKS!
