Mountlake Terrace is a fairly small city of around 20,000 residents near the northern shore of Lake Washington. I-5 runs right through the middle of town, putting downtown Seattle less than thirty minutes away. Living in Mountlake Terrace puts you in a great position to explore the natural wonders of Washington State, particularly the sprawling Cascade Mountain nature preserves to the east. Ferry service across Puget Sound makes it easy to reach to Olympic Peninsula as well, allowing for weekend trips to Olympic National Park and the ocean.
There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor recreation closer to home, whether that means spending an afternoon at Lake Ballinger or bringing your dog to the parkland around Lyon Creek. Houses and apartments in the northwest portion of the city have the most convenient access to the Premera offices.

Property Ratings at Arbor Village
Good chance they don't show up for a tour if you schedule early using this website. Scheduled a tour for 10 am, got confirmation and got there early. Spam called for the next 15 min until a resident leaving opened the door and let me know no one was in the office. Its been a couple of days since then and they haven't acknowledged anything.
Filthy, dog excrement everywhere, noisy and inconsiderate tenants. Management is not helpful.
This was two years ago, & seem NOTHING has changed, it's only gotten 10 times worse. To those looking to live at Arbor Village Apartments, my advice to you is to stay away from this place! The noise level here is UNBELIEVABLE - DAY & NIGHT! It's just one thing after another. Worst part is management does absolutely nothing about it no matter how many times you report it: via phone call which they rarely answer/email/or in person. And don't even get me started on the soprano singer wanna be -& acts like an alarm clock that goes off at the exact time EVERY SINGLE MORNING singing/screaming! Can't wait for my contract to be over. This is by far the worst place I have ever lived in. This ain't no place to be calling home. Rating: 1/2 star ??
Contacted apartment staff multiple times to ask them to tour never got calls back. Literally had to spam call them till finally was able to tour. Then for the application process had questions and again spam called them and by the time I was able to speak with someone they already sold the unit. Glad we didn't move here though the amenities are run down and extremely old. The lounge space is dirty along with the grill definitely not sanitary to use. Apartment units are really old and run down they made cosmetic fixes here and there like flooring or counters. for only a very few apartments. The apartment floors in some rooms have torn up carpet from animals I am assuming but the apartment doesn't care to fix it. The outdoor space is very lacking and minimalistic there is no seating or anything to enjoy the space it is literally an open courtyard with absolutely nothing in it. The theatre room smells bad like they don't clean up after people use it. Overall, you get what you pay. I ABSOLUTE WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Imagining living in this complex with staff that never reply I could only imaging how terrible it would be when someone has to get something fixed in their old unit asap. Good luck spam calling them. Absolute terrible experience. Also the staff if very untrust worthy they care more about money than establishing connections with the tenants. They'll lie and bluff saying some unit will get taken and that they don't give discounts and then the next week they will have discounts and will remove it on a daily on and off. it is all just a luring game to rip people off since it takes a couple of days to get the applications approved so you may or may not make it in time for the discount offer. BE CAREFUL POTENTIAL TENANTS a good apartment complex would prioritize being truthful and honest with customers and these people clearly don't do that.

I really appreciate the quick service and the thoroughness of the maintenance staff. I also enjoy my apartment as it is tucked away in a nice corner of the building facing the courtyard. Overall community is friendly, and we even like to attend the resident events that are hosted.

Hi there, thank you so much for your positive comments about Arbor Village! Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if there's anything more we can do!
Great maintenance staff, but that is it. You will get to know the managers name and then they are gone. I don’t know if it comes from the top down, but the choice of staffing in the front office is laughable.

Hello, we are disappointed to see your low star rating. If you could provide more information to us, we would be more than happy to try and make this situation better. Shelly Gil Regional Manager
I have lived here for the past 2.5yrs and all I can say is GREAT things about it. LOVE LOVE LOVE the new management under Melissa and Brooke and the maintenance men Jared and David, the staff is super friendly and helpful!! The apartments speak for themselves VERY nice inside and out and updated with top of the line appliances and hardwood throughout. I would even go so far to say that it's probably the nicest apts in the area! If you're looking to move to Mountlake Terrace, look no further!

We appreciate your positive review about your recent experience with us!
This is the nicest apt I've lived in. I never hear my neighbors. The apt is very nice, with high quality finishings. It's a very well maintained building and outside grounds. It's close to shops, restaurants, freeway. I plan on living here for a while!
