The neighborhood is home to America’s Center Convention Center, along with the Dome at America’s Center and several historic landmarks and museums, such as the National Blues Museum. The Convention Center is an ideal neighborhood for renters interested in in-city living and affordable, yet upscale rentals. Property Ratings at Arcade Apartments
Plumbing issues, heavy restrictions on amenities for the residents which I find unreasonable like I pay rent here why ? If anything breaks it’s on the tenant even if preexisting, very difficult to work technology in exercise facilities . roof terrace and community room(I’m early 30’s just for age reference ) exercise equipment outdated and usually not in working conditions not all but most, cleanliness throughout the building and outside.
I am a resident at Arcade Apartments. Not only has someone recently lost their life in our mailroom, but we also just experienced a major flood due to one of the residents above us. A closet fire triggered sprinklers to go off and flooded 10-15 units. We were one of the worst apartments affected by this flood. Arcade Apartments has failed to show any concern for their residents affected. We have been residents for 5 years and have seen this property go through continuous management changes. Since Covid, the living environment has become extremely questionable due to the the shooting that take place around and inside our building. They have also had roach, bedbug, and flee infestations in units here. After our apartment was flooded we were told that they were not responsible for anything because they did not cause the fire. Their maintenance team also stated that we’d still be able to live in the apartment during the construction. This was a lie. Currently we do not have power in our bedrooms or living room. Last week we were notified that hot water wasn’t available at all in the units. Because of the living conditions we have been staying with family, but Arcade still thinks that it is ok to charge us for rent. They posted our rent today, January 2nd. This is completely unacceptable! Please do not stay here if you want to feel safe, appreciated as a resident and/or artist.

Hello, Thank you for the review. Multi-family living isn't for everyone and unfortunately disasters can happen with no fault of ours, yet we must do what we can to maintain our peace. Management was on site during every disaster since June2022 and made themselves available during and after for any resident needing assistance. We have had no deaths inside the Arcade Artist Lofts, although we did happen to be a bystander in a senseless shooting before Thanksgiving. Again, Management was on site and answered any questions residents had regarding the incident. All multi-family complexes have their share of issues, but the Arcade has no reports of any infestations. If you have an infestation, please contact the office as pest control is on-site every two weeks. All effected units have power and have been fully restored. We tried to contact you multiple times with no response. If you still feel like you need to speak with management, please email us and I will put time on my calendar. Thank you, Ashley Gould Arcade Community Manager
Went in Monday for a tour and got more than I expected. I was given a tour of the whole building and amenities. Great to have a leasing agent that lives there. I give it a 4 because they didn't have any available units but I will be back to view again.Amenities are great. Thanks you.

Hello, Thank you for leaving this positive review! I agree, it is great that our leasing consultant also lives at the Arcade! At the time of showing, if we do not have any vacant apartments, we can always supply a floor plan to you as well as a virtual tour. I look forward to your re-visit to the Arcade, so we are able to show you available apartments. Hopefully, this will change your review to 5 stars! Thank you again for your interest in Arcade, please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. Thank you, Amanda Quast Arcade Community Manager
We took a tour, fell in love. We moved in, fell even more in love. We're not artists - I work in finance, my partner is a biologist. But we love the art-focused community here. There have been no unfortunate surprises since we moved in - place is clean, appliances and carpet are brand new on move in, none of the smoke smell we found in a lot of places we toured, and it's QUIET. We have had ZERO bumps in the night, sounds from our neighbors, even sounds from the street! They did something really good to soundproof the place because you'd think the complex was empty if you didn't know there's only one room that's not already occupied. If you can get a room here, take it! Best place downtown by far.

Hello, Thank you for leaving such a fantastic review for the Arcade apartments, we love the building as well! The historic architecture of the building brings her character to life, from the marble hallways to the unbelievable view on the 19th floor, Arcade has something to offer everyone! Not to mention the location, centrally located in the heart of St Louis within walking distance to major sporting/concert venues, restaurants, and bars! The Arcade is a perfect to call home. Respectfully, Shannon Smith Arcade Community Manager
Nice location, but things break down and the tenants are the ones footing the bill. Also the mail room is so disorganized that I've consistently had to re-order packages cause things get lost on there. The front staff is friendly, but their hands are tied when it comes to customer service. I can't wait to move out.
We wanted to love this place. It is in a great location, across the street from a MetroLink and the Culinaria not to mention incredible restaurants. Jenny and Arnela in the Front Office have been phenomenal through the insanity of the building issues. Their spirit and professionalism cannot overcome the problems with this building. In 13 months of living here we have had numerous problems however I will limit it to the water (temperature and pressure), HVAC, elevators and maintenance response. The water temperature has been warm (102-104 degrees), not hot (above 110). To be fair, sometimes there is hot water, about 30% of the time, however it takes 2-3 minutes for it to get above 100 degrees. About 70% of the time there is water pressure which has been increasing. The rent includes water so we are not paying for the massive amount of water wasted waiting for it to get hot. The temperature and pressure issues are dependent on the time of day. We are early risers and had issues, so imagine during peak times? The four elevators have rarely all worked at the same time. Monday, none of them worked and we live on the 18th floor. On the elevator that night, there were 6 of us and someone commented their dream was to have all the elevators work for an entire week straight. The 18th floor has 2-story lofts. The HVAC unit is the same as the 1400 SQ FT one level apartments on lower floors. Because of 20 foot ceilings, the cubic footage far exceeds the one floor apartments. With 110 degree summers, the HVAC can't cool off the bedrooms on the 2nd floor. We have a North facing apartment, imagine if we had direct sun? The answer from maintenance is often "we are working on it." Maintenance work orders are randomly closed with the problem still existing. There are numerous problems and issues with the building so I am sure they are overwhelmed and have trouble keeping track of everything. The maintenance people are nice, especially Austin, but they are overworked. Even though moving is painful, we are moving! There will eventually be much less pain and more hot water by getting out of the building. Good luck Austin, Jenny and Arnela!
I was worried I would not be comfortable living in an apartment/loft because I have always lived in 2 or 3 story homes, but my apartment home is EVERYTHING!! I am not cramped, the features in my unit are beautiful and I am surrounded by beautiful, creative, positive neighbors. I am not worried about my daughter's safety as she explores the building. We have round the clock security, restricted access areas that require a key fob to enter and my canine, Sasha Fierce is always on point. We love it here and I can not give the office and maintenance staff enough praise for all that they do to make sure they are living up to the type of requirements this beautiful building demands. I could go on and on about my living experience here at Arcade Apartments, but I will stop for now because I am off to explore and enjoy a few of the beautiful amenities in my new home.
It's hard to believe there are NO reviews on this amazing piece of property! Well... I don't mind being the 1st! LOL The amenities alone will get you... It's like having an adult play ground here. There are so many spaces available for you to just hang out and mingle with your neighbors and friends. There are also private areas for your "alone time" when you need it. How many places can you live in that provide almost everything you need in one spot? Not many! When I thought about "downtown living" the main thing that crossed my mind was; "The noise is going to kill me and there will be no privacy!" I was totally wrong!!! I live on the 13th floor and I don't hear a thing! Sirens, yes but everyday street activity, no. The staff and management are 5 stars all the way. I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to live around. I am truly in awe of this place and so happy to call it "HOME"!
