Property Ratings at Arcos Apartments
Recently the Arcos Apartments was bought out by Two Ten Management, and at first I was apprehensive about it, but after meeting the staff and one of the owners, my worries were gone. Raven one of the office staff is always in constant communication with residents about any and all situations. She is a staff memeber who will be fair and honest with you, and will always greet you with a smile. Ivan one of the mainenance workers, is working hard to ensure everything is fixed and too always has a smile on his face. I also met Paul the manager whom you can see on the grounds helping residents and attending to any problems that are needed (and he to will greet you with a smile and a frinedly conversation). Two Ten Management is breathing new life into this property, and I look forward to seeing all that they have to offer. I personally wanted to say thank you to each and every staff member.
I took a tour today to see an unit and was very welcome, units were clean and in great shape! I was informed about pricing, details about the neighborhood and about the unit itself. New management is definitely doing something right!

I've lived here since April 2018. Apartment was filthy upon move in. Mold growing in bathroom vanity. Had to shampoo my own carpets. The water extracted was black. I had no central air for 5 months. Was told repeatedly that they would get it fixed but I had to end up buying my own a/c window units to survive the summer. About ever other month there is no hot water or no water at all with out any notice. The furnaces, a/c units and appliances are so old that they should have been replaced long ago instead they patch them back together to run inefficiently and break down again in no time. I live alone but my electric bill is out rageous, the grassy areas are full of dog poop, the management makes promises that never happen and the fees for water,trash, and pest control drive the rent up to a ridiculous amount. This place is a dump! Take it from an Arcos resident, look elsewhere!!
Do not waste your money on this place... Arcos may seem like a good option to to rent at but do your research and go somewhere else... not to long ago my AC broke down and my apartment was 90 degrees inside, I kept putting in work orders to have it fixed but nothing was getting done, I didn’t even get a window unit and at one point Fernando(one of the managers) even told me that he had 5 people coming to my apartment to fix my AC, that that day I waited the whole day to for “those 5 people” to show up and nothing. I went more than two weeks without an AC and once they actually came to fix it they left the vent for the AC unscrewed on the floor and they have not come to fix it. Now there something wrong with my toilet and since the water is allocated, my rent for this month was over a thousand dollars for a one bedroom apartment, and they said they can’t do anything about it, I put in a written work order almost a week ago and nobody has come by. Like I said do your research people... don’t jump into something because you’re in a hurry.
Roach infested, outdated, poorly maintained, poorly managed, ugly, and inhospitable are the first words that come to mind to describe these awful apartments. Each apartment comes equipped with the best utilities 1975 has to offer, including stoves with non-functioning burners, fluorescent lights that have long since burned out, and air conditioning units that leak coolant. In each room there is at least one light switch that has no clear use and at least 2 power outlets that output no power. The doors are a mixed bag, some come with working locks but stretch all the way to the carpet, to a point where they scrape across the carpet when opening or closing them, some doors are recently and poorly replaced with a large gap at the top, and others will have their hinges coated in a thick rust. In each apartment, you have roommates; cockroaches. Now, I have to give credit where credit is due; these cockroaches could be much bigger and much more disgusting to deal with. These cockroaches will come and go as they please, and every exterminator you call will be so familiar with the apartments to a point where they tell you it would be a waste of money for you to pay them to come out and spray your apartment, since the cockroaches will just hide in the vacant apartments. Speaking of vacant apartments, each vacant apartment in your building will cost YOU. Because either their meter-systems are from 1975 or they're just into extorting their possibly illegal tenants, they divide the cost of the entire building's water by the number of tenants in that building. Your new neighbor is obsessed with turning on their sinks all day long to scare the cockroaches out of them? You're footing the bill even if you only flushed your toilet once a day. But don't worry, sometimes the hot water will go out completely and you will be left with no choice but to shower in strictly cold water for days; IF your plumbing doesn't scream every time you turn on the cold water in the shower, like mine does. Management will give you the standard statement of "we're on that" and won't divulge anymore information, almost as if they aren't even paying attention to the apartments and just collect the checks. There are infinitely better choices in the area and even better choices in the city for the price. Don't settle for Arcos, do your research and pick somewhere better; or don't, and help lower my water bill.
I have never seen such bad management ever in my life.... someone therw a dead dog near garbage can and I have informed the management many times but it has been 4 days that no one has picked it up... someone seriously has to audit this management and their paperwork since they never write down any work orders and everytime I ask them for my previous work order they say ohhh we dont have them in the papers we will write them down now.... please get this management change and Miss Irine who calls herself manager needs to be fired first, since this is all happening under her poor management.
