Located a few miles southeast of Anchorage, Abbott Loop acts as one of the many residential neighborhoods surrounding Alaska's most populous city. Residents of Abbott Loop love its close proximity to national parks such as Far North Bicentennial Park, providing plenty of outdoor activities for families in the area.
Due to the spacious nature of the homes, most houses end up being more expensive than the average rate for the region. However, the neighborhood's convenient location makes for an attractive living situation for families with children, as numerous elementary and middle schools reside within a few miles of the area.

Property Ratings at Arctic Gardens
I've lived here with my significant other for close to a year and a half and haven't once considered finding a new place! Our one bedroom apartment is spacious with big beautiful windows which is an absolute necessity for getting as much sunshine as possible during the long, dark winter months. There's trees that bring moose right up to your window and you can place feeders to attract all the busy neighborhood birds, giving a closeness to nature even in the thick of Anchorage. The apartment manager is incredibly kind and helpful and is always quick to address any concerns you may have; any time we've needed maintenance, she'd put in a work order and I've had maintenance respond to fix things that same day. The landscape is meticulously maintained and the parking spaces are well kept in the winter no matter how snowy it gets. Everyone here tends to keep to themselves but are always quick to greet you when you cross paths. The walls are thick enough that you can't really hear each other so maintaining good relations with your neighbors is fairly easy haha. Overall, living here is a blessing. Rent has always kept at a consistent rate and it's much more affordable then most places, so we feel genuinely safe and comfortable here. I'd highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for a new place!
My husband and I moved into this apartment complex this past May 2018 from South Carolina. And we absolutely love it! The Manager is so courteous, very helpful and friendly. The up keep of our apartments here at The Arctic Garden Apartments is excellent! We are so happy here, and glad we had the opportunity to move into our apartment! It’s a quit neighborhood, a great place to live. We are so blessed to live here!
The area is really nice, close to Fred Meyer/Safeway and in a good part of town. Really good schools for the kiddos. Nice that you can have cats. Management is flexible and friendly, especially with scheduling appointments after hours if you need it. The property feels safe and looks inviting. Landscaping, lawn-mowing, and flowers are kept up well. Maintenance staff really knows what they are talking about. The apartments are really clean and well maintained. They aren't super trendy and new, but they definitely feel like home! Very family friendly - has a little park for the kids and there is an on site daycare! Would absolutely recommend!
The landscaping is kept up really nice--pretty flowers, mowed lawns, prompt snow removal in the winter. Super close to the Dimond Center, Fred Meyer and other shopping. The manager is really nice, helpful and friendly. Maintenance is done pretty quick and it's done right the first time! There's a nice little playground for the kids and I'm happy that cats are allowed here too. It's not "corporate" like other apartment facilities; it's family orientated and relaxed. All in all, it's a great place to be!
Not a fan of this places, I promise you can find better deals somewhere else. Keep scrolling
