The A/C started to leak a few days ago and I called to get it fixe they were able to come out the next day and fix it complete and was very fast about the issue. The only issue is that the water/boiler goes out every month or so and takes a while to get it fixed again.

I can’t remember when’s the last time I took a hot shower since I moved here. I also can’t remember when’s the last time maintenance fixed our issue or answered our calls. If you like going to bed dirty or living in a slum then I recommend Argenta 100%. Also judging by the past comments made years ago, nothing has changed.

Don’t live here it’s nasty and roaches everywhere. Every building has a roach problem. They don’t clean the apartments properly and they do not check them as well. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
We have lived in a nice 2 bedroom apartment for over a year. Argenta has a nice rec room, weight room, package area and as a bonus.. running water. Yes, that's right Argenta apartments are so thoughtful of their residents that sometimes we have running water in our apartment. It is so nice to put on a water faucet and sometimes have running water or be able to flush the toilet. Now more than ever it is important to have running water. Argenta is so kind that they have only shut down the water around 50 times during the pandemic. The word "caring" doesn't explain the whole picture.
Was supposed to move in yesterday, & were tenants for 2 hrs before we got out cashier's check back & RAN! I work in property management, have seen some bad units, but this is by far the most unorganized process, & disgusting apartment I have EVER seen. Our unit we was 2153 and INFESTED WITH BUGS! COCKROACHES, TERMITES, & A MOLD HAZARD WAITING TO HAPPEN! While at work, my boyfriend took ownership of the unit, & was given keys that didn't work. He walked & did a very light inspection & saw dead bugs, & it didn't process that if this was a result of bombing the unit prior to move in, it's a good indication the cleaners didn't come. Nevertheless, he noticed the walls were dirty, & decided in attempt to make the place look nicer, would run to home depot & pick up paint. When he came back, he did a more thorough inspection of the apartment & found bugs..bugs... & guess what else? BUGS. SPIDERWEBS. The caulking wasn't sealed, & best part is the BASEBOARDS WEREN'T EVEN INSTALLED IN THE KITCHEN! I left work and came to the office & they offered to call pest control on MONDAY, & working in property management, know that it is within my rights as a new resident to request emergency pest control out same day, and to request cleaners come back (or in our case come ONCE) since our apartment was not made ready or in move in condition. Clearly do not care because they didn't even offer this as a solution. But I can verify this was a rushed job, as I had came into the apartment I was moving into Friday at 1:30, because the leasing team sucks. I never received a cost sheet to my email, no lease, no ANYTHING, so since we were moving in the next day, needed to make sure things were taken care of because they never answer phones, emails, texts thru their website texting site, or voicemails, & I wanted to ensure no problems would arise. They showed me 2153 and all of our appliances pulled from the walls, light switches and cables with their outlets unattached from the wall, & tools everywhere. I looked at the leasing agent & said "and you're sure our apartment will be ready tomorrow morning?" & she replied that she PROMISED it would be. The maintenance team that was leaving in 3 1/2 hours, didnt finish the job, and left us without baseboards/unfinished apartment. That being said, they couldnt call cleaners & just figured they would allow us to move into an apartment that had a leak problem and a bug infestation without being walked by the leasing agent WAY TO GO ARGENTA!
Wait a minute... I thought this place is for Humans to live. While living here it seems that COCKROACHES are in control and are everywhere. Call on management for help but their "people" are busy and they only "spray" on Tuesdays. They only spray when there is a problem request. With Roaches this size [**************],I would think they would want to spray everything once a week. This is an unhealthy situation and I intend to notify Mesa City about it.
Where to begin.... so our apartments shower water fluctuates from hot to cold in a matter of seconds without touching the handle. We moved in last November (18) and maintenance has looked at it about 4-6 times. Nothing was resolved. The walls bleed when it’s hot. It looks like someone who lived here prior to us smoked a pack a day inside of the apartment. The master bedroom and restroom don’t have proper air circulation. The air will be on 73 during the summer and the room is baking like an oven. Brought this up to maintenance and they said it’s just us that feel hot. Mail has been an on going battle. FedEx tried to deliver a package to me and had to go to the front office to find my apartment number, the front office told them they had the wrong address. I’ve been waiting for a month to get an Xbox controller. Ohhh an I ordered my girlfriend something from Jeffree Star cosmetics and apparently we have our package being held hostage in some hub that we didn’t sign up for. We contacted from office from 930 am to 1230 pm and the manager was in a meeting every time we called which was about 10 times. Save yourself the hassle and look somewhere else.
Are you looking for a place where your water will be turned off at least a couple times in a month. A place where you have to run your water for a good 15 minutes for hot water & sometimes there is no hot water? How about cockroaches galore? An apartment where your ceiling leaks water and after telling 3 different maintenance guys it’s still not fixed? The office staff will even come by with out notice to test their spare keys on your door. So don’t worry when a random man from the office is trying to unlock your door. They have wonderful bathtubs where the paint peels off so your child has something to play with in the tub. Oh and the best part you will have to micromanage the office. They will lose your packages, your 60 day notice, and they will NEVER answer their office phone. If this sounds like your future home, stop by. If not, RUN!!!!!!!

Maintenance never comes unless you bugg them. Was told every year the rent will keep raising, they are always adding new rules and claim its on the lease and its not, the shower never gets warm , asked many time to fix it and all they say is that the apartment runs off of one water tank. Lease is up soon and will never be back. One plus side is my neighbors, they keep to themselves and not loud.
The apartments smell like cat urine and stale cigarette smoke, the water is unfit for consumption (it SMELLS), the staff never stick to the posted hours for the office, which has caused me to be late on my rent because THEY weren't there whe they were supposed to be open. Don't do it.
I lived here for 3 years and Ive always had a problem with the property management Asst. Manager (Armondo)....Is the most unprofessional person I have ever met..He puts on a act in front of the manager like everything Is fine ,but as soon as shes not around he runs wild...Yelling at people in front of other property personal,to top it off the young lady at the desk was new and had to be subject to such treatment by someone she considers a boss (she was in fear for her job) because she infact instructed me to do what he yelled at me for! (Moron)....Did he at anytime ask them prior to his actions?........I THINK NOT !!! And when someone requests to speak to his manager,He walks away and slams the door in their face(How rude!!).Ive tried talking to his boss about this matter...I guess its time for another sit-down.Im quite sure he wouldnt want someone treating his mother or his father like that!!...Worse customer service in any rental office in the east valley
Living here for almost a year now. Never once have I had any issues with my neighbors they are quiet and reserved. If there are ever any issues with matience then they come and fix it right away. I'm moving soon because I have to move closer to my mom but otherwise I would stay here another year.
Argenta has the best leasing staff. they were so helpful and patient with me when i first applied. i had some problems with my ac during the summer and they fixed it right away. they keep the apartment community feeling home-like and always clean.
It he apartments aren't bad, haven't had any problems, no bugs, friendly maintenance, clean pools, and jacuzzi. My only issue is no ceiling fans and lack of lighting, but overall I give them a 4 out of 5! Would recommend to family and friends!
I'd give this place 0 stars if I could. The buildings are old and falling apart, and maintenance does nothing to help. We've had 2 floods and 1 fire in less than 2 years. It looks nice on the outside but they overcharge and rack up the prices every year.
Everything about Argenta Apartments is pretty basic. Average rent for East Mesa maybe a little better than most for the amenities. Washer and Dryers are not included as the sign says. It's an extra $50. The apartments are smallish and the water and trash bills are high. The staff are nice if you are nice to them. Maintenance is pretty quick to respond. The updated models aren't worth the upgraded prices. Overall and okay place to live for a year or so. Aaron, Mesa
I'm currently living in this apartment, but I really wish I wasn't. For starters, there are a lot of stray cats. Mostly because there are a lot of scorpions they can eat. A neighbor of mine has FIVE living in her light fixture for a year until she moved out. So if you must live here, owning a cat is a plus. There are always kids playing in the streets, loud arguments outside are normal, and the washer/dryers are 40 bucks extra if you want them. Most apartments don't come with a patio. Now most of that isn't all that terrible, but it's the staff and the maintenance that make it unbearable. Front desk staff, once you move in are rude and short with you, only there to take your money. Moving out is a nightmare from what I've seen, and I'm not looking forward to it. Maintenance takes three or four tries to fix something, and that's if they get around to it. They sometimes close really early randomly, and wouldn't you know it, it's when you have to pay rent. It's almost a struggle to give c these people money. Don't waste your time here, this apple is pretty on the outside, but rotten on the inside.
