Property Ratings at Aria on Cave Creek Apartments
The staff in the office are unapologetically rude and unprofessional.
PROS: Maintenance staff, office staff, amenities, cleanliness of complex, convenient location CONS: location (noise) This is the 4th different apartment I've rented in the Phoenix area and its by far the best after living here for 2 years. The maintenance staff has been the biggest surprise as they're unlike any other complex's staff. At Aria, they're always quick to respond, very communicative and do great work, all of which are characteristics I've never seen anywhere else. The office staff is always very nice, easy to work with and also good at communicating. The amenities (gym, movie theater, pool, jacuzzi, inside and outside lounge area) are always pretty clean and well maintained. Landscaping and overall property cleanliness is top notch. All of this quality does come at a slightly higher price than expected, and is subject to going up or down yearly with the market, but I wouldn't call the prices 'expensive'. Lastly, while the location of Aria is super convenient, it is a fairly noisy area as most places in Phoenix are. If noise bothers you then just aim for a unit further West (away from Cave Creek Rd.) in the complex. Ultimately, if you're looking for a quality apartment complex in every aspect and don't mind spending a couple extra bucks to assure that quality, then Aria on Cave Creek should be the perfect place for you.
I came across this property with an interest in moving to a place that wouldnt encourage outrageous annual increases. Upon meeting with the leasing dept I was explicity assured by Teri that the reason they have such low overturn in residence is because they dont increase rent. She went on to indicate that she had been at the property for years any not seen an incarease until last year when everyone recieved a $15 increase. To any potential resident that seems reasonable. Unfortunately I was dupped - and my renewal is requesting a $45/month increase for a small one bedroom. When inquirying with the office I was told "they value their residents". Meanwhile I have an increasingly loud neighbor who houses 3 children, herself, and her boyfriend in a one bedroom unit, as well as, a recently obtained dog that is not wanted nor do they have any interest in caring for who is allowed to urinate and deficate on the patio - and while the property staff is aware, does nothing about it.
An awesome property with all of the amenities of a resort. The entire staff is warm, pleasant and professional and are willing to go above and beyond to assist their tenants. Highly recommended!
First off, let me say that this place was good when it used to be Trillium. All I hear about is how great these apartments used to be as Trillium, going down hill as Montage, and getting even worse now that it is Aria. To start, just in the last month, my car has been keyed, my neighbor's car broken into with some high dollar stuff stolen, and someone tried to break into the downstairs neighbor's apartment from his patio door while he was home! Almost everything has been broken at least once in our apartment. On day one of moving in, the carpet was so dirty, even black stained in some places. The maintenance people act so annoyed when they come to fix stuff, which will happen quite often. We have a 3 bedroom apartment, yet only allowed one parking spot. Parking is ridiculous here...we usually have to park our second vehicle on the OTHER side of the complex. It's closer to walk to McDonald's from my apartment than it is to walk to my car half of the time. God forbid that you are a day late on the rent grace period. We've been slightly late two times out of well over a year of living here. The second time that we were, they charged us 150 dollars on the first day of late. The second day, I payed it, but not after receiving threatening phone calls about how they were taking us to court to evict us. That was only on day two! I'm not even going to get started on how overpriced the rent is...just skip this place all together and rent a house. It'll be cheaper and less hassle.
I have lived in plenty of different apartments, having only renewed for a full lease once in my life but usually moving every 12 months to try someplace new. I've had experiences that I'm indifferent towards, nothing bad happened but it was nothing special, and I've had some experiences that were downright awful. This is one of the two places I've ever lived that I can honestly say I have had an amazing experience here. The grounds are always kept clean, the apartments are spacious and have a great floor plan layout, and the amenities are wonderful. We have a spa with a spa tech for hire, a fully loaded gym, a movie theater, and even a temperature controlled wine cellar. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and maintenance requests have always been handled the same day. They are open late on weekdays to accommodate your needs and are always willing to help. It's close to the 101, plenty of places to get something to eat, and a little watering hole right across the street. It's very quiet and the neighbors are friendly. My electric bill is one of the cheapest I've had for a larger 1 bedroom this size. I would definitely stay here for awhile and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who's looking for an upscale apartment for a very reasonable price.
What makes someone choose one apartment complex over another? There are multiple apartment listings in any city you visit, so it must be something special. Perhaps, it's the office and management staff, including their smiles and friendly manner. It could be the maintenance staff with their spot-on service, which is dependable. Some folks wants tons of amenities with ample parking spaces and quick access. There are those who want security with on-staff security guards and living in a gated community. When we lived in Trillium Apartments, we had all of this, with easy access to the 101 highway for various locations throughout Phoenix, Arizona. Although we no longer live there, you might want to check out this location, which is under new management and a new name, Aria. What do you have to loose? Just a few minutes of your time. Is this worth the possibility of finding the right apartment for your lifestyle? Might be the inexpensive search you've been looking for in 2015-2016.
this is my second apartment I've lived in since moving to Arizona...And I must say it absolutely wonderful. From the pool to the gym to the sit in movie theater.& to top it all off when u first walk into the leasing office is wear u can hear the angels singing....SERIOUSLY!!!Flat screen tv's EVERYWHERE,Pool table, kitchen,& believe it or not we even have wine lockers.....Yes u heard me right WINE LOCKERS.Where you can store ur very own favorite wine of choice that will be nice & cold after a nice long day at work....I mean what's not to love..
Aria (formally trillium) has a staff that is so warm and welcoming I felt I was home from day one! Brenda and Kim have both made a point to get to know me a little more than just my unit number(which they always remember)! I was previously in a bad relationship so moving alone was a big step for me but Aria apartments made it so easy the application process was so fast and I was approved right away! The apartments here are so beautiful as well, nice wood floors in the kitchen and bathrooms and gorgeous granite counter tops. Fans in the living room and bedroom are definitely a plus in the hot AZ heat. This place is beyond expectations and a place I can finally call home for the first time!
Since the new company has taken over a lot of the original amenities have been either limited use or taken away completely. They use to have the club house open on Sundays so you could play pool and watch TV, but now their office hours are extremely limited so you can't access a lot of what the clubhouse has to offer. They are nice units, the prices just keep rising and at this point I don't think it's worth it for what was originally promised amenity wise. The pools, gym, and grills are nice though and well-kept but again not worth the rising price of the units.
Beautiful area at base of mountain. Apartments have wood floors, wonderful layout and friendly people. Property is gated.
