Property Ratings at ARIUM Altamonte Springs
Went to check out this apartment complex. Theres a huge pothole right at their entrance, gave them benefit of the doubt that the pothole just happened. I came back over a month later it's still there and BIGGER. If they cant even fix a pothole I'm scared as to what their apartments look like!
I was so excited when I found this apartment, I thought the scenery was beautiful and the staff seemed so accommodating- but I couldn’t have been more wrong. I moved in three weeks ago, August 10th, and upon my arrival they told me that the tub had just been glazed that day- the fumes were strong and headache inducing. In addition to that, they just happened to not mention that my unit was completely infested with roaches! They told me 48 hours into my lease. While I have been so eager to give them the benefit of the doubt and work with them upon this issue, the main office doesn’t answer any phone calls, nor do they reply to any emails that I’ve sent regarding the issue. Simply put, management doesn’t really care about you after you sign the lease. Also, the trash issue here is disgusting- they have valet trash but the other tenants don’t mind leaving their trash in the middle of the hallway. With the Florida heat, you can only imagine how it smells. Their maintenance team here is lacking as well. I’ve asked for my chair railing to be caulked, and it’s been three weeks and nothing has been done. They finally just got around to putting a lock on my patio screen door yesterday- a three week ordeal, as well. The apartment themselves are very outdated and run down- don’t let the model unit fool you. The cabinetry is all warped, the counters are warped as well. The appliances are old and dingy. Plus the washing and dryer unit are very small and take three cycles to fully dry clothes. Long story short: stay away from Ashford at Altamonte Springs at all costs, unless you’re a glutton for punishment.

User, we are committed to providing each and everyone with a positive experience and are proud of our track record in offering high-quality service. However, it does seem that we failed to meet your expectations. We apologize for this issue and hope you’ll reach out to Jackie, our Property Manager, at 407.291.1577 / ashford@bainbridgere.com to make this right.
The leasing office is full of inexperienced, unprofessional people. The parking situation is a mess. The consistent repairs necessary are due to faulty and old appliances. Regular exterminator visits are required due to copious bug infestations. DO NOT LEASE HERE.
My boyfriend and I lived in the Ashford for about a year and it was absolutely terrible. To start, when we initially moved in, we asked our leasing consultant if the complex was safe because we both travel for work. He assured us that the complex was incredibly safe and he had to move out because he couldn't walk to the trash compactor without getting caught in long conversations with his neighbors. In the first month, an elderly man that lived in the building across from us was beat to death and had his throat slit. Absolutely horrendous crime committed by another gentlemen living in the apartment complex with a long criminal record. So much for those background checks! Needless to say, we were both terrified and desperately wanted out of our lease. We asked to move out because of our fears for our safety, but were immediately told that we would have to pay almost $2000 to get out of our lease. So we unfortunately decided that we would have to finish out our lease. In the remaining months, we had a couple that lived above us that partied at all hours of the night. We made countless complaints (all of our phone calls went unanswered). Finally, we were told the couple would move out by the end of the month, which they did. We thought we were in the clear! Until the next couple moved in... The next couple that moved into the apartment complex above us physically and verbally assaulted each other almost every single night. I was often woken up in the middle of the night to sobs and screams. We had to call the cops more than once because they were physically assaulting each other. This couple? According to our leasing consultant, they requested to end their lease because of their unhealthy relationship and they were allowed to break their lease for 0 charge. Not a dime. Almost every week, we were upset about something and our phone calls would almost always go unanswered. We submitted our complaints to the Ashford more than once, giving them plenty of chances to make it right. Pay an extra $100 to live somewhere else. Do not live here. The best thing about living in the Ashford was the maintenance guys. They were always incredibly kind and timely responding to service requests.
The parking in this complex is HORRIBLE. They really need to assign parking spots for ACTUAL PEOPLE ON THE LEASE. I know for a fact that some of the apartments have 5-6 people living in them taking up all of the parking spots. There is no need that after my night shift I should have to park 1/2 a mile away from my front door and walk in the middle of the night.
Someone was murdered here despite being labelled as a gated location. Security needs to be upped in this vicinity.
My unit at the Ashford features a places that is secluded, private, and with lush landscaping to block the Florida heat. Had hoped for a bit more square footage for the money, but overall a great buy. Outstanding views, especially from the front office pool deck. All the amenites you need at home, including your own washer dryer in unit.
Great priory, friendly management. The only problem is the apartmend are very cozy.
