Southpoint Estate Apartments

I moved in a few months ago and I currently want to break me lease, when people tell you to read and believe reviews... DO IT. The management SUCK! There is rodents and roaches that live with you, when you put in a work order they ignore it. If i could leave 0 stars I would. Reviews are truthful no matter how many years it's been. Management is nice and friendly at first but they do not value there job to do the things that should be done! Trash pile ups, they overcharge you and lie about getting someone to help you with your problems amongst the community.

Lived here 11 years. Was great but new owners awful! We have have robberies and a shooting in the building next to mine! Drug deals go down in the parking lots,and the management doesn’t answer complaints! So frustrated!

Been a resident for 8 years --- community and staff were that good. New management is a complete disaster. Amber and Justin are disorganized and never in the office. Rent was raised $100 a month. Can't justify paying that considering management is bottom of the barrel. No idea at all.

The worst apartment I have even seen. Moved in last week, and the moment we opened the apartment door, I knew something wasn't right. 1. The apartment smell molded 2. The carpet was wet. 3. There was leftover medication in the bathroom cabinet 4. The dishwasher was dirty 5. The dryer was dirty 6. The windows and the blinds were filthy. 7. The air filter was filthy. 6. Made a maintenance request on Tuesday to change the air filter and to notified them that the fan was not working in the bathroom( never worked the day we moved in), called them on Thursday because they still didn't came out , their excuse was they only had 1 maintenance person. 8. I have been airing out the apartment since the day I moved in 8/11 and today is 8/17 , the apartment still smell like mold/musty. 9. Went in today to get a air filter to change it myself , they didn't have the air filter and told us we need to do a maintenance request. The apartment they showed us was really nice and so we expected we were getting the same product. If you planned to rent, please don't rent it if they only show you their "model " apartment.

This apartment complex is about 20 years old but is well maintained by a very professional maintenance team. It is easy on the wallet considering the amount of space you get. The laundry room is actually a room and not a closet and there is a very spacious storage room on a very spacious deck. If you like real wood-burning fireplaces then you are in for a treat. Besides your usual pool and fitness room, the grounds have a basketball, tennis and volleyball court, walking trail, dog park and a small lake. The neighborhood is quiet and there are plenty of parking spaces. It is conveniently tucked away but is minutes from Southpoint Mall and other shopping areas, several grocery stores, and UNC.

We love our new apartment. We have great neighbors and a wonderful community. They do so many great things for their residents for example they're throwing a pool party for residents with games food and prizes this week. They also are very quick to send maintenance if something is wrong. And the office staff is simply amazing. This was actually out of the budget range we were looking for. But we decided to take a look at it. The more we stood in the apartment speaking with Tameka Tamika about all of the amenities and the great neighborhood, the more we knew that this was our place. We have a nine year old who's made so many new friends and he is actually happy. It's hard to get a little one used to moving 500 miles away from their family, this amazing definately made it much easier.
