Property Ratings at Cantera at Towne Lake
This place may be nice on the inside but not worth the amounts of dog poop you’ll step on stairs, breezeways, outside of your car, and anywhere else a dog can poop. I have slipped on dog urine that was left behind in the breezeways (which made me late for work) Maintenance takes forever to respond to tickets and this place is constantly getting broken into. On the past month 4 tenants have been broken into and one was attacked in the lot. Management is a joke and has a huge turnover. This place isn’t being run by anyone I don’t think. Great location and schools. THAT’S IT. Don’t move. Shady people at night yelling and screaming as well. Save yourself the trip. Don’t move here.
Parking is a major issue in this community. Calling for maintenance is an absolute nightmare, one service call took over a month to respond to, and another service call took over 2 weeks, and they responded on the same day we moved out. They give false advertisement about giving money back if service call is not responded to in 48 hours. Getting hold of someone from the office for information or inquiry is next to impossible. This is the worst experience I have ever had.
I have lived here at Arium Towne Lake for almost a year now. Overall, it has been a very frustrating experience. First, our apartment unit was changed on us before we moved in. Second, when we actually made the move, the unit was not ready for us. The maintenance men were working on the unit when we arrived, and there were no keys available for us. We moved here from Corpus Christi and hired moving help, so this was a pain. Third, the unit was full of dog hair. We had specifically been promised that the unit would be thoroughly cleaned, which we cared about because of my wife’s allergies. We found dog hair all over the unit for at least 6 months and had to move our furniture in and out of the bedroom several times so the carpets could be (shabbily) cleaned and finally replaced. Fourth, maintenance just never comes on time. I don’t know how many times I have called the office because maintenance didn’t come when they were supposed to. The communication between the office and maintenance has been terrible. I am currently waiting on a maintenance call that I put in a week and a half ago. Fifth, the turnover rate is ridiculous. Over the past 9 months, we have seen the whole maintenance crew be replaced 3 or 4 times. It’s hard to tell because communication from the office is nonexistent on this issue. I feel sorry for the past maintenance guys, because most of them seemed like good guys. The entire office staff has also been replaced since we moved in. It seems like Arium management must do a poor job managing employees. Last, there is an upside to living here. The elementary school is great. I would say most of the staff have been friendly as well, but they seem to be severely understaffed at times. And they are occasionally disrespectful. Overall, I would say to prepare yourself for a frustrating experience if you’re considering moving in.
AT&T has a monopoly on the internet here and will charge you an arm and a leg
The floor plans are nice and spacious! However we pay a lot money for rent to have to walk through poop! After Anthony left, the common areas have become disgusting. I’m considering relocating because of it.
I have not had use if my kitchen sick for 3 days. Clearly maintenance nor management has not found it to be a priority. The faucet in the main bath is flowing at the rate of a trickle. Still no one has fixed it.
Great and beautiful place to live. Very cozy as well as safe. Been here 3 years now. Tegu have switched management. Last person were a female she was really greet nice professional and ajwsys treated everyone fairly. Now we have a guy Anthony he is absolutely amazing!!!! Take care of you greatly. Property is always well kept in issues he’s on top of it immediately!!! The other staff in the office are really great as well always have great great attitudes.
While I initially enjoyed living at ATL, things gradually took a turn for the worse. I moved after the deadbolt lock fell off my apartment door. I fulfilled my lease term, now they won't return my deposit. It's been 3 months. List of complaints (synopsis) 1. Deadbolt lock fell off my apartment door. Two weeks later the patio lock came loose. Management refused to let me move apartments without paying a fee although I felt unsafe. 2. Security gates were broken at least once a month or every two months. 3. The treadmills in the fitness center were repeatedly out of service and dirty. One time I almost injured myself because the treadmill turned off while I was running causing me to jolt to a stop. 4.Package Deliveries- They have no real security measure for receiving packages (no ID or signature required) 5. Poor grounds maintenance-You could find spilled food, fast food trash and other items throughout the complex. 6. Trash- the dumpsters would overflow or have trash strewn around the enclosed dumpster area. 7. Parking- Not enough parking. You may not have a parking spot after 9pm. 8. There were a string of thefts. Someone broke into the leasing office and stole equipment, took a joy ride in the golf cart and escaped. A resident had their tires stolen. Vehicles were robbed. 9. I had several AC outages, four times in one year, including during the summer. On one ocassion I had to wait three days for the AC to be repaired. The AC was broken even when I was moving over the summer. 10 Maintenance and outside contractors came into my apartment without notification to touch up the patio roof with paint. 11 At the recommendation of management, I got a security alarm installed only to witness maintenance trying to disable it when they entered without prior notification. 12. Wait time in the leasing office-No matter what reason I was visiting the leasing office for, I could expect to wait. When I was trapped inside my apartment due to the deadbolt lock falling off, someone had to interrupt a conversation with a prospective resident because no one was answering the office phone or the emergency maintenance phone and the leasing consultant didn't take a moment to find out what the guest needed help with. When I came to pay my final utility bill in person, I was made to wait in the assistant property manager's office. While I was writing the check, she left. After about five minutes I stepped out of her office, she then told me she forgot about me and chuckled.
I have been a resident for three years and have slowly watched the sad decline in management and service. The message on the machine proclaims "upscale living in Cypress". Yes, there are laminate floors and marble counter tops but that is as far as it goes. Dumpsters are enclosed in wooden fencing but is always topped to the brim so residents throw their trash in the 3 foot space surrounding the dumpster, very disgusting even though trash pickup is 3 times a week. Front office and maintenance staff offers service suitable for a low income neighborhood. The current staff are disorganized, cold, and uncaring. I live on the 3rd floor and my washing machine flooded the laundry and kitchen area. After reporting the issue, so as to not further create any damage to not only my own unit, or the units below me, maintenance reported that the machine was working fine. This inconvenience does not even include my dog or having to take off from work! Only after having 4 continuous issues and having to follow up with the staff, which is not my job, they then replaced my machine. At the time of writing this, I had reported a leak in my A/C unit that caused damage to my drywall and paint in the master bath. They came to repair the damage a couple of days later. Yesterday, the drywall and paint are in worse condition then the first time I reported this issue. I actually do care about the condition of my apartment but apparently, Arium and The Carroll team do not. Maintenance now tells me they have to clean the coil and replace some of the pipes. Imagine that! I'm not even going to complain how I used to get a courtesy phone call when my packages arrived, and one of my packages was in the office yesterday as I was logging my maintenance issue with the office staff. Also, do not plan on having a nice, quiet living environment. It is quite noisy, especially at the pool area after the leasing office has closed. The workout gym equipment has 3 treadmills and only 1 that actually works. On a positive note, they do keep the grounds clean for having residents that have pets.
Arium Towne Lake Apartments is a great place to call home!! I have lived here for over a year now and have absolutely no complaints. The apartments have the highest quality building components (dark wood cabinetry, granite counter tops, and top notch appliances). The office staff are wonderful, always ready and willing to help with a smile and a positive attitude, especially Athenna!! The grounds are kept immaculate and have two beautiful salt water pools with gas grills for tenants use. Whenever I need something fixed the maintenance staff are prompt and courteous. These apartments are connected to the best primary and middle schools I have ever had children (grandchildren) attend, Rennell Elementary and Anthony Middle School. So if you looking for a luxury style apartment in an area that has great schools, restaurants and other amenities look no further because Arium Towne Lake is the one!!
Good apartments. Big rooms. Waterpark near by. Lone star college cy fair is from walking distance. Their excellent
It has spacious floor plans, stunning lake views with a rustic Texas feel, modern finishes, and amenities that offer residents an unmatched living experience. This gorgeous community has an excellent location with convenient access to major retail centers, shopping boutiques, dining, entertainment areas, and employment centers.
The Arium apartments at Towne Lake is a gated apartment complex with 2 swimming pools and very nice laid back people who are very welcoming and receptive, I am very satisfied with my experience here!
Although the location is convenient and the surrounding area is booming with new business, the new management has left much to be wanted in this once thriving apartment complex. In our two years here, there has been management changes three times and each time seems to pose new problems. This apartment complex is great for the "on-the-go" person looking to live in Cypress with an upscale atmosphere, but not great for those that like very attentive administration.
Living in Arium towne lake apartments is like living in a resort, the apartments are very spacious is like living in lofts that you will see in new York, the people are friendly and the area is always kept clean. the pools are just like what you see in resorts. again this location is awesome and I am very happy living in Arium Towne Lake apartments. I also want to mention that its walking distance from the grocery store and shopping center and it has a fabulous walking/running trail that is wooded and located in lone star college across the street from the apartments and one more thing it has a huge lake that can be seen from your window or just walking outside.
