The Highlands/Perkins neighborhood of Baton Rouge is located just south of downtown, nestled into the curves of the Mississippi River. Super chill living environment
I have been living in the Arlington for the last 2 years and it has honestly been amazing I have had no issues our ac broke down but maintenance was literally on it the same day. Would highly recommend. The location is also amazing

Arlington Apartments
I have lived here for over a month now and I have no complaints so far. Everything was very clean when I moved in and if there was maintenance needed, they have came every time in under 2 days. I am very impressed so far since living here and it is so convenient to get to campus, it only takes about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic!

THE WORST
Air conditioning didn't work the day I moved in they never fixed it. can't even find the lease to check if its okay maintenance is horrible. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE

Hello, Can you please reach out to use at info@liveatarlington.com to discuss any issues with your air conditioning? We work very diligently to ensure all work orders are handled in a timely manner. In the event an AC is out, we do have window units available while repairs take place or parts are on order. We can also send you a copy of your lease agreement!

Maintenance Issues
My daughter lives at Arlington with several roommates. They have been without AC for A WEEK. The manager will not call me back after leaving messages and emailing. They keep promising to repair or replace the AC but again it has been a week. The units themselves and the amenities are great but management does not care at all about the residents. While all this is going on, the management office is closed for FOUR days for training. Hopefully that training includes how to properly respond to maintenance and contact requests.

Please do not lease here
While every apartment at LSU seems to have their challenges, this place takes the cake. The property management is non-responsive, unwilling to recognize the needs of their tenants, property is run down and in needs of serious mold checks throughout. Since Arlington claims they rent to LSU students only (not true), I wish LSU would monitor how these properties manage their students and the community. Agreeing with the previous post/review - they claim my daughter didn't turn in her keys until 12:09 (which is not true) and charged us $75 holdover fee for being late to turn in keys. PLEASE Read all the reviews before signing a contract to lease here and check Facebook pages on this property.

Terrible! Horrible! Do not lease here!
Absolutely terrible! The units are dirty and not well-kept, but when you try to move out they invent a bunch of fake charges for your student. We just got an email for $500 worth of charges that has been absolutely fabricated!

Jennifer, I am sorry we weren’t able to discuss charges with you as you were not listed on your daughter’s account; however, we did send her an explanation of charges and related photos. We send move out instructions to all our residents via email and a paper notice on their door explaining how to a void this.

Beware of Lease
This place was great our first year but they must have come under new management that is extremely keen on using its powers in the lease to make your stay here abysmal. Be warned of signing this lease as everything in this review they are allowed to do. In the past week 2 maintenance groups have barged into our apartment not peacefully( as is stated in lease) and we were given no heads-up of there arrival, and no mask were worn by any of them potentially exposing us to the corona virus. We were charged a full month of rent for using a vacant room to hold cleaning items when management failed to lock the door and refuses to take fault on there part, even though we were told that other people do the same thing. This place has upset us extremely given that we have been here for a year with no problems and even resigned early when they lied about how full there occupancy is. The staff in the office is lazy and no one seems to know how to run things. One of our roommates received a package in march and just got it yesterday in august, no email sent. They now refuse to give packages to our roommates because they are supposedly busy, but we notice they all sit around inside chatting and not doing there job, and you will be greeted with an attitude that does not reflect what this place tries to stand for from eye rolls to sighs.We feel as we can not take action as the property manager would evict us with out-hesitation if we tried to make any rational claims and therefore would not recommend this apartment complex to any new students coming to LSU. This virus is not an excuse for poor treatment of your tenants, hold up your end of the agreement.
