Arlo Memorial

The EV chargers here have worked for 6 days this entire year. It’s ridiculous. They should not be able to advertise that they have EV charging. It’s a huge part of why I moved here but now I have to go to HEB to charge my car.

EV Chargers never work. I specifically looked for a place with EV Chargers. And I need Charging at home. If you are an EV owner stay away or get used to public charging only.

When I first moved into this apartment in February 2020, this place was amazing. Staff was friendly and nice and remembered you by name, they were extremely responsive, and professional. Recently however, it has gone downhill in a short period of time. Cars are getting broken into in the parking garage, neighbors are extremely loud, roaches and trash are found in the hallways, and just walking to the door the scent of weed hits you in the face. I pay way too much money to live here to be living in this situation. Im just trying to stick it out until my lease is up.

Arlo is a lovely community with very attentive and pleasant management staff. It has been a great experience living here so far. There are areas of improvement, but for the most part, they are trying their best.

My experience at Arlo Memorial so far has been pretty great. Its safe, quiet, and kept up with. Staff is friendly and answers all questions in a timely manner.

Maribel..is such a beautiful person ... she helped me in everything I need to make a decision .... and find where to live ..... Arlo Memorial ... is for me ... my new house !!!

Great place to live! The staff is very friendly and welcoming which makes is a huge plus. It has a great location in regards to restaurants, entertainment, schools, etc. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to call home!

I moved here from Pennsylvania. I did not know what to expect from a large apartment community. It has been great Madi and Lindsey in the office are amazing. The maintenance staff are on top of things. No complaints at all

I love my apartment and Im glad I chose Arlo Memorial as my new home. The location is great, the staff is friendly, personable, and very accommodating. Their commitment to listening and pleasing the tenants is unmatched in my opinion. The amenities are great and the quality for the price is unheard of. I definitely recommend Arlo for anyone looking for a beautiful apartment without breaking the bank!

The apartments at Arlo Memorial are beautiful. It is a modern, sleek, and friendly environment. The staff is always ready to help and always professional and kind. Ive been here a short time and they all know me and greet me by name. Its a pleasure to live here.

Great place to live. The maintenance crew is so responsive and takes care of business! Management is great.

The location is good, the price is a little high but better than City Centre, the apartments are nice, and the new management is better.

Not much too say good or bad. I have very high standards and living in a multifamily complex is hard for me. Others just don't care or respect themselves much less other residents. I keep a clean and tidy home...

I would because it's a fairly new community, great location, and reasonable rates. I would not because the property needs more upkeeping, no security on premises that I have seen, and a lot of the residents are very dirty.

Parking to get in or out is annoying. Everyone parks along the dennys curb and its hard to see oncoming traffic. High price rental, amenities to the residents aren’t available after hours like other communities are and the hours of the office do not work well for anyone who works 8-5 as you would leave your home before the open and get home after they close.

Keep common areas cleaner and repair broken items in common areas

The parking is horrible! To many break-in's, non residents take up spots. Gates get broken so crime can happen. Resident let animals urinate and crap in halls and stairs. Hall ways are dirty dust balls everywhere.

I don’t get anything in return if someone signs a lease with the slate. The refer program are on specific units.

I think the new management is doing a great job. One thing I would like to see improve is notifications of packages at the front. It would be ideal if we had a 24/7 package center since I often get home after the office is closed.

I’ve been there for 2 years now. And 3 different office ownerships. The stairwells and pet areas, floors, walls etc are not as clean and was when I came. But it’s cleaner now than was a year ago after the 2 company ownership/Roscoe.

Ever since Roscoe Properties took over the property, customer service and safety has drastically gotten worse. Some of the leasing agents, specifically Christina Mast, are extremely rude to the residents and have a horrible attitude when a resident asks them questions or puts on a requests. There is a recording of her being very rude to a resident who was having issues with his apartment. Instead of alleviating the problem, she escalated the issue and the resident became infuriated. During Labor Day weekend, the garage door was broken and management decided to leave it open for the entire weekend without adding extra security during the night. Because of the broken door and lack of security, over 10 vehicles were broken into (one was even left on bricks). Management sent out a letter making residents aware they will be adding extra security overnight, but I have not seen security patrol the parking lot or property. When the time comes that I have to move, I will not consider any property that Roscoe Properties manages and will not refer and friends or family to the slate. I would refer enemies, people that enjoy getting the property broken into, or enjoy receiving poor customer service.

I do not recommend future residents. Ever since the roscoe properties took over greystar nothing is up to date or kept up with like it use to be when greystar was here, the staff are rude, it’s very loud when people use to be generous of others especially with those with babies and new borns these apartments are so nosie. The apartment complex always smell like marijuana especially in the hallways to the people who have real jobs we like to stay away from that. The pool is always green and is never locked now so kids are in there till midnight being loud during the week.

We've concluded my search here after countless property visits and considerations. It's pretty common to find imporessivly properties with plenty of amenities in Houston. But people make all the difference here; the more I walk into the front office the greater my confidence grows. The team will go above and beyond to facilitate a joyful and smooth living. It's a new property and its kept at top standards. Neighbors are super friendly, quick to jump into action for you and just a fun mixed crowed to hang out with. Finally, schools... not all Spring Branch schools are created equal, but the schools we're zoned to are award winning state level schools. Great choice all around for a fresh, modern, and cozy place to call home!!

I moved here a month ago and all I can say is I am impressed beyond words. Everything you need is available to you at The Slate. The apartment is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. The staff is so friendly and eager to help. I have a lot of packages going in and out of the front office and hey never once complain about helping me get them or even carrying them to my apt with me when it's too heavy. Maintainance is a breeze and the speed at which they complete work orders will amaze you. I literally put in a work order, walk out for a couple of hours and come back home to everything fixed. They go above and beyond with their jobs and it is quite refreshing. If you are thinking about the slate, there is no need to be skeptical. It is certainly the right choice. L

This place has been incredible, to say the least, to my wife and I since we've moved here. Besides the fact that the beauty of the environment looks like tropical utopia painted by picasso, Literally, Ill put a work order and the very next day as I get off work, I am impressed to see that everything I've raised concerns about has been fixed. Not to mention, the staff does an incredible job of communicating with the residents about every event and important information concerning safety in storms, cooking classes, etc. The quality of service is what keeps residents coming back and wanting to be immersed in the atmosphere. The unique thing about this incredible group of leasing consultants and management in this building is the fact that they genuinly care about their residents. That's what keeps us desiring to be immersed in the community, the quality of the service the team provides. We have only been here for 9 months but we are already talking about renewing our lease and upgrading to a 2 bedroom to prepare for our new addition to the family.

I have lived at The Slate for 5 months and I think it is great! The pool area has a resort feel. The location is amazing! They have social gatherings for their residents and gives you a chance to get to know each other as a community. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is definitely worth coming to see!

I've been a resident here for a couple of months now and I still love it just as much when I toured the community! The entire staff are the most friendliest and helpful group which makes apartment living so easy! They are on top of it all and treat the residents like family! This place is ALWAYS clean and fresh smelling. The residents are nice, responsible, and considerate. Resident events have been awesome here, there is no half stepping on spoiling the residents. The pictures on the website does this property no justice, the property is breathtakingly beautiful and they did an amazing jobs with floor plans because there is something for everyone. I had a detailed list of everything I wanted in an apartment and I'm a pretty specific and detailed person; I found the perfect apartment at the Slate! I'm so happy and so proud to live at such a beautiful community with an AWESOME staff of people!!!

The Slate was 1 of 4 properties that I looked at. The staff and property won me over. Dylan gave me an very thorough tour, answering all my questions with patience. Holly went the extra mile and walked 4 flights of stairs in heels at 5pm to show me a different floor plan on another day (the elevator had been shut down for a really bad storm that was expected) - She never complained or rushed me in looking so late in the day with a bad storm looming. Shelly helped walk me through the application process and iron out any kinks with grace. They all worked very well together, made the whole experience fell like it was about me and not about a representative trying to earn a commission. VERY impressed with this property.

The Slate is now home to us because of the amazing and wonderful service we have received from Holly and Shelley. Since the time we met these ladies, they have been nothing but helpful. Holly went above and beyond and took the time to listen to what we were looking for and matched our needs to helping us find exactly what we were looking for in a place to stay. This is why the Slate has now become home for us. Holly is such a wonderful and caring person and really takes care of us. For anyone looking for a place to call home where the complex is so wonderful and the staff are like Holly and Shelley, this is the place to be. The apartments are so well designed and all the amenities are so nice and luxurious. This complex is also really well situated close to the beltway, city center and just off of I10, so the location is perfect.

These apartments are located near Houston's Energy Corridor, Terry Hershey Park, and best of all, all the shopping and dining right down the block in CITYCENTRE. The amenities scream modern and the color schemes will appeal to young and urban professionals as well as families. I love the dark grey floors, the granite kitchen islands, the high ceilings and the Nest thermostat. I always look forward to inviting company over and receive a ton of compliments on the look and feel of my new apartment. My mom thinks I'm living in a 5 star hotel. As far as apartment amenities, I love the huge pools (there are two of them) and grilling stations outside, the new imac computers and the cool demonstration cooking kitchen in the lobby. Shelley and the rest of The Slate staff are super friendly and have done so much to make me a happy resident. They have been very patient in answering all my questions and concerns when moving to the new apartments and have continued to provide the same wonderful service as a current resident.
