I wouldn’t recommend anybody to live here.the area is really bad. Apartment is nice but the person in the lesson office?? The worst!

New management was meant to make things better but they are not helpful at all. They respond to the tenants they know well. Not only is management not responsive to concerns, the mail is always delayed, missing or opened before receiving. I have had multiple packages be held for months by the office with multiple emails that they have ignored. They don't offer much help when you go to them asking for answers and there is always a broke gate. Save yourself the stress and find an apartment with better management. I cant wait until my lease is up. Worst management I have ever dealt with

Place is nice but definitely not renewing my lease. Location is good if you work in the energy corridor but otherwise it's not worth it. Trash in the garage is always overfilling. I found a guy in the garage who had crawled in leaving blood all over the halls and doors (had to call the cops). My moms car was towed over night with no warning because she didn't have a sticker. I asked the manger and he said "we don't do warnings", which is fair but i feel like a courtesy notice isn't much to ask for. Especially when I have seen random cars with drunk people in the garage and they don't do anything (had to call the cops again and have pictures).Maintenance guys are amazing but besides that they don't know what they're doing.

Disappointing
This resident has gone WAY downhill since Alliance took the property over. I was a resident since the property was built, and it was amazing. Quiet, professionals, and families. Recently, they took away all of the amenities and crime has increased. Over the last two weeks alone, two cars have been found in the garage with all four tires stolen. The gates are always broken and management now seems to not care. Communication is terrible, and the resident quality is horrible. I’m trying to figure out HOW people of the caliber that live here now can afford to, or someone is just letting people in. I’ve tried to be patient and nice because it’s been my home for years, but I will not continue to give a company my money that can not keep a safe environment or hold up their end of the deal.
A good place for young professionals. It's very quiet, clean, and well kept. The management staff is awesome and quick to help. Maintenance is speedy and efficient. I plan to renew my lease and stay for the next few years while I remain in Houston.
I moved in before the apartments were done being built, and was the first person in my unit. At the time, it was beautiful, well kept, there were resident events and perks, and I definitely felt it was worth paying extra for the neighborhood. Then management changed in the office. Now, there’s no resident events. The valet trash they charge $25/ month for is spotty. The free coffee machine is frequently broken. Breakfast (which you absolutely are paying a premium for) is rarely ever out, and if it is, instead of including fresh fruit and juice like it used to it now has a sign that says something like “one item per resident” and they only put out 12 yogurts for the entire complex. It’s basically exactly like living at a place that charges you literally half as much for rent down and doesn’t offer any of these perks on their website. Except you’ll be paying a premium to be disappointed here, because there’s all those empty promises on their website.
The Heights at Westchase is a nice community. Great amenities gym, pool, wash and fold laundry service, valet trash and a lot of fun community events. However, there are a few issues that if resolved could enhance the property. A few of my neighbors have had issues with flooding and both situations were handled very differently. One situation was taking care of immediately which was great, while the other situation was put on the back burner causing the apartment to flood multiple times. The property has also had a few issues with thefts. I understand that crime can happen anywhere, however the property does not do much to enhance security. The gates are often broken or open which increases the possibility of theft. My boyfriend's motorcycle was stolen from the property's parking garage on a Monday night and the gate was open until the following Thursday. I spoke to the manager about the situation and she proceeded to tell me that the gate was only open for one day (which is not the truth because I took pictures and videos). I did not consider moving after the theft incident until noticing the gate being left open. I went to discuss my concerns about the gate and to hear options for breaking the lease. The manager told me that I could break my lease for multiple fees which I felt should have been waved under the circumstances. The manager told me that she can't sell security and the gates and courtesy officer are only deterants. I asked for the regional manager's direct number, which she could not give me (understandable) but she told me she would have her call me. It's almost a month later and I have yet to hear anything from either parties. I also suggested that the manager send an email to residents reminding them about the holiday season and to be mindful of who they allow into the buildings and a reminder about not allowing other vehicles to trail cars into the gates. The manager responded by stating that she already has the email typed up and ready to send (I never received this email). I will not be renewing my lease here based on the lack of communication and responsiveness.
