On the north bank of the Columbia River, separating Washington from Oregon, lies Portland’s largest suburb and the fourth largest city in Washington: Vancouver. This riverfront retreat is filled with a rich history, abundance of shopping, outdoor recreation, and a family-friendly atmosphere. With excellent public schools like Hudson Bay High School, families flock to this thriving suburb. There are more than enough community parks to keep outdoor lovers content, including Vancouver Lake Regional Park, LeRoy Haagen Memorial Community Park, Orchards Community Park, Esther Short Park and Playground, and Frenchman’s Bar Regional Park, a fisherman’s oasis.
Interstates 5 and 205 run directly through town, connecting Vancouver to Portland, so commuting is a breeze – not to mention Vancouver is just across the river from the Portland International Airport.

Property Ratings at Arnada Pointe
My biggest problem with this place was the move out. I moved out of this place the same way I have with all the apartments I have stayed at. But this time they charged me twice for cleaning even though in the picture I saw no reason for it and made false accusations about scratches on the counter tops. If you move in there take pictures and protect yourself they will get as much money out of you as they can
The apartments are very nice and very spacious. The area is very beautiful and close to everything. We are actually leaving California to move to the Arnada Pointe Apartments. We are super excited to be able to live in these beautiful apartments. And the staff that works for them are amazing! Such great customer service and so very helpful and kind especially Brenna. She had been so amazing since day one of me calling her. If you are looking for a place look no further and call them.
The management is so helpful to get you in! After that? Don’t expect to hear a word. Black mold in the toilets is common, I even saw it in another review. So that’s fun. Our downstairs neighbor is a daily marijuana user, smokes cigarettes and weed in their unit, which is obviously against the signed lease agreement. I’m pregnant and being constantly subjected to second-hand smoke. The smell makes me sick to the point of migraines and nausea. I’ve talked to the neighbor- they were too high to comprehend the conversation. I have emailed management many, many times. I have a nice collection of automated replies cheerfully letting me know that my email has been received and I’ll be hearing back shortly. I have never heard back. They know I’m pregnant and that this issue is harming the pregnancy. If they don’t care about that, why would they care about anything less? Parking is a mess, cars are stolen out of here all the time. Management double books paid spots and then tells the residents to figure it out between them. The phone number to have an improperly parked vehicle towed is outdated by over a year and no one seems to know what the current one is, and the after hours “emergency” hotline doesn’t actually connect to anything useful. We often get fliers saying random maintenance will happen one day, or our water will be shut off for another, these fliers are often vague and more often than not nothing actually happens on those days and other times instead they show up a week later. Here’s a fun example; http://imgur.com/953ktKn You can hear everything everyone else is up to in their unit. Let your imagination run wild. I know all my neighbor’s work schedules and favorite past times. The weed enthusiast below me is a huge fan of metal these days. Everyone leaves trash everywhere and dog poop runs the show. Need I say anymore? Move literally anywhere else. This place is the worst, and we’re doing our best to get out.
Arnada Pointe apartments are a JOKE! Where to start... First off the management lacks experience! They have been through two since I moved in! I thought the new one would be better but she is worst! The garbage situation is stupid! one garbage area! residents literally have to put Garbage in the trunk of our cars to make the long journey to the garbage drop. The parking is horrible! you either need to "rent a spot for 25 bucks a month on top of the very high priced rent or come home after a long day at work and drive around for god knows how long and how far to find a place to park! The summer and pool situation was a joke the very small overly crowed pool was closed most of the summer due to kids trashing the pool. Turns out the maintenance guy was letting his teen kids in at night they would trash the pool and then they would close it so no one else could use it!! the maintenance department has gotten worst thy have hired a talk slim guy who is rude and literally doesn't know what he is doing and he's the Supervisor! I put in a urgent request for a leaking water heater, no one responded for 3 days! Then when someone came it was a new guy who said it was his second day and he had no clue how to fix the issue but would be back with his Supervisor. He came back alone wear a huge back pack (that make me feel like he was loading up our stuff and taking it) he attempted to fix the problem and put a chemical into our water heater by accident and said to "just let the water run" then they were supposed to return 2 days later no one showed. I called the 3rd day the new Joke of assistant manager (IVY) and let her know she said she would see what's going on and call me back. She called back about an hour later saying so the maintenance guy said someone knocked on my door that day and I wasn't home. I reply yes I'm at work! no one called to inform me that anyone would be coming so that I could make arrangements to be home. She then informed me that maintenance would be out the next day Saturday between 9am and 12pm no one showed again! no show Sunday! No show or communication Monday! I called the office and got ahold of someone and asked why no one had come. She was unaware of the conversation about someone coming out on Saturday. oh! and after them ignoring the request for 3 days allowing the water to ruin everything! the first thin they said was we are not responsible for your lost items! I'm very disappointed in Arnada Pointe!!!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!
Thieves and liars. Horrible response to maintenance request, unkept grounds, and awful customer service.
We lived in arnada pointe for a year, overall decent living experience for price point but here are a few things to know: - Parking can be very tough unless you rent an under cover spot for $25 per month - The garbage area is poorly managed, it is overrun with garbage and recycling everywhere. A trash compactor or security system to enforce compliance would help. - Upon move out we were quoted $350 for carpet cleaning services. ($215 for "pet urine" stains in the living room and bedrooms). We did not own any pets and never even had an animal in our apartment. We were also charged $45 for carpet "stretching" in the hallway among others. We were charged $140 for a standard unit clean and $76 for utilities that I'm pretty sure we're paid for on the last check. I understand that they might be able to get away with some of these charges if we had kids or pets... but we were just two adults that made a point of keeping the place very clean. Management, please reach out to me asap to discuss the move out statement. I will be happy to revise this review if things get squared up.
We have lived here for almost 2 years, our rent is consistently going up. Since we moved our rent has probably gone up $200. There's little to no soundproof. We have to pay an extra $20 a month for a covered parking spot.
Nice from far away. Up close you can see corners were cut. Rent way too high. Otherwise Nice area.
I lived here for almost 2 years. After year one they wanted to raise my rent $106 more per month. For the 2nd year it was over $200 more per month! I had to move. There is no soundproofing at all. If you have kids, then this is a great place for them. They run around all day yelling in the summer and during the school year you hear them past dark!
The apartment complex is located near I5 and takes less than a minute to get onto I5 northbound (towards Seattle) and about two or three minutes to get onto I5 southbound (Portland). Location is convenient for stores, near downtown Vancouver and the Burnt Bridge Trail (approximately 1/2 a block from the complex). The apartment complex its self is quiet and mostly families and working class residents. There is a pool (which I haven't taken advantage of) and a small gym with some of the basics (a treadmill, elliptical and general/multifunction weight machine). There is a central garbage and large recycling center. Generally there is no overflow of trash. I have lived here for three years and have yet to have any problems such as vehicle being broken into, disorderly people, transient people, etc... The major problem with the property is that there is a shortage of open parking spaces and the covered parking is an additional $70 per month. However, you can still usually find parking at some place on the property. The staff is friendly and Holland Residential is a good property management company. However, the property as just been sold by Holland Residential and unknown how the new company (Strata Equity Fund, LLC managed by Pinnacle Property Management) will operate.
You have to pay for a covered spot if you want one. $20 a month! If you come home past 7 pm you have to park on a busy street.
Been living here for over 3 years. Grounds are clean with a nice workout room. Parking is rarely an issue. Maintenance is prompt. Overall, very good place to live.
Have been here for almost four years and really enjoy it. Property is clean, staff is very friendly and maintenance is prompt. The apartments are spacious and updated and location is very convenient
